Always check your receipt before you pay. I ordered a #2 with small fries and a large mango peach chiller. Added on a cookie for .99 cents. Bill comes to $14.19. Huh?? They give me a $1 back. Huh??? Let's break this down because the window guy didn't want to invest the time to comprehend what I was trying to tell them. Maybe management will give me their undivided attention. So here it is in a nutshell. For whatever reason they surcharged large fries in my combo by $1.00. Then charged me an additional $1.98 for small fries. But the small fries are included in the #2 meal so there is no $1.00 surcharge in the meal because ordered small fries and there should be no $1.98 for small fries added to my receipt because they're include in the $8 and change #2 meal. $1.00 surcharge for the large fries $1.98 charge for the small fries That's over charge of $3.98. Now let's not forget the over inflated Santa Monica tax of 10%. That's another .40 cents. This is how Wendy's stays in business. $4.38 for items I didn't order. Now maybe someone will fix the issue because giving me $1 back when I am owed almost $5 is criminal. So I go try the new sirachi chicken sandwich I keep hearing about. Finally get my order and take my first bite and the cheese is ice cold. I go to complain to ask them to warm it and MAJOR attitude by both the cashier (Hispanic guy with a mustache) and the young lady. They make a new one and it has cold cheese again. Terrible service...On two occasions back to back, I ordered the Parmesan chicken salad half size as my lunch. The first time I specifically asked for crispy chicken instead of grilled and I received grilled. Just went to Taco Bell and ordered a burrito and taco, paid, and received it in 1 minute. Nothing is ever ready at this Wendy's. Nobody is ever ready to make anything and they can't manage multiple orders at the same time. Takes at least 20 minutes to get food with 2 people ahead of you and 5 people working. I come to this particular location a lot. There's not much to say...just another Wendy's. But I must warn you: if you are paying with cash in the drive through, be careful that you don't drive off before they give you change. This is the only fast food place that I've been to that will give you your food before the money is taken care of. It happens really fast. I once payed with a $20 bill and they literally gave me my food as I have them the bill. Of course it's my fault that I wasn't thinking but after I got my food, I drove right off. It was about an hour later that I realized that I didn't get my $12 change. They have done this every time I've payed with cash. So beware. Don't forget your change! read more
