Metal Object Found in Baked Potato!!!! I ordered drive-thru for my family, and while eating my baked potato, I bit into something unexpectedly hard. After taking a closer look, I discovered it was a small metal bead--possibly part of a ball bearing. We confirmed it was metal by testing it with a magnet we had in the car. Concerning!!! Especially since I may have already consumed other foreign material before noticing it. I contacted corporate about a week ago but have yet to receive a response. Came here passing by on the way to Vegas on a Friday night. It was pretty casual and not too busy. They have options to order on the kiosk but I ordered at the cashier with Cindy, she was nice and polite. Tried out their new saucy wings. It was around $6.50 for 8 pieces. I'm a bit fan of their nuggets so I was excited to try their sauces and went for spicy garlic parm & spicy honey bbq. The Honey BBQ had good flavor to it, the garlic parm ones kinda had that butter sauce with the seasoning. Not much of a presentation, but it's fast food. Sauce wise it's comparable to the other chicken-wing chains out there, and it was fun to try something new, but I think you're better off sticking with a classic 10 piece nuggets by themselves. If you're like me and took it to go for the car ride it's best to eat with a fork. They had options for ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Food wise I would give it a 2/5 from what I ordered. Wendys is good for grab and go and a casual meal. At this location you'll need a code to use the bathroom, the interior is well kept and very clean which I was impressed by. I was craving a baked potato and I didn't want to make it myself. Wendy's is the only fast food restaurant with a baked potato on the menu. I have only tried their Sour Cream and Chives baked potato before so I decided to try a different one on the menu. I chose the Bacon and Cheese baked potato with added chives. I figured it was close to a loaded baked potato. The potato came with a crispy skin and a creamy interior. There was both a cheese sauce and shredded Cheddar cheese on top. There was sour cream and their buttery spread in the take out bag, too. It was a good serviceable baked potato if that is what you are craving for. I also ordered a large chili. It was as I remembered only thinned down so it was more like a soup. I don't care if it is made with leftover hamburger patties as it was still tasty. More beans than meat but it was an okay container of chili to begin with. If you get the crackers to go with it, I would just crumble them into the chili to make the consistency slightly thicker. I got a 1 cent Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger during a recent promotion along with a Jr. Hamburger as well. They were okay tasting burgers; nothing really stands out as being special. The meat patties were fairly dry. I like to get junior sized burgers, if they are available, as it is fun to compare them from different places. I would probably not order these again. This restaurant got a refresh on the exterior recently so the exterior looks nice. The service was polite and efficient. The service was terrible. The employees are consistently nasty and rude every time I visit. They always seem to have a bad attitude when I order, especially with special or custom orders. If they make a mistake, they get angry, even when I inform them at the speaker. They often talk over me while I'm giving my order. When I asked them to correct a mistake, they yanked the wrong order and scolded me for not mentioning my custom order--something I already did. When they finally fixed it, they nearly threw it at me. On another occasion, after paying, they shoved my food at me and slammed the window shut without saying thank you. So I went thru the Drive Thru at 12:35. Order my food. Go to the second window pay the $21 and change. I get asked to pull around and park in front to which I politely decline I'd prefer to wait at the window too many times I've had my order messed up I'd prefer to wait. I get told that my food will take another 6 minutes because everything is being made "fresh". I again decline the manager then stares at me for a good 3 minutes as I look forward. Our food was ready and sitting there and it just so happened that their card system went down as it was our turn to pay but the car in front of us was able to get their food without a problem. Stopped by this Wendy's while traveling through Victorville. Wife's chicken and nuggets meal was okay, but my choice, the Southwest Avocado Chicken Salad, had undercooked chicken. Did not notice until I had eaten half the salad. The Southwest dressing that came with the salad must be some concoction dreamed up in the eastern part of the USA. It was gross. Ketchup and mustard on the salad would have been better. That was how bad the salad dressing tasted. Yuck! All that for only $15 for the 2 meals. My burger was good, but my boyfriend's nuggets were bad. He said they had a weird/gross taste. The bathrooms (cleanliness wise) were okay, besides by the toilets. However, in the bathroom straight down the hallway, the urinal had plastic covering it (out of use), but it had pee sitting in it. Actual pee. I get things can malfunction, but I don't want to look at a urinal full of pee when I walk into the bathroom. I don't go here very much, but my visit was interesting. There was 2 hillbillies, the only name I could come up with for them, was giving the order taker a hard time. She (Miss Elizabeth) was trying the best way she could but they kept changing the order because of their coupons. Went to Wendy's last night about 6:30PM. I just don't have clean or polite comments for this location. We ordered a Chicken Asiago sandwich, a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and (2) 6 piece chicken nuggets. We got the 2 sandwiches but not the nuggets. My daughter (4yrs) was in tears... we were on the way to Disneyland for the last of the World of Color (Frozen Theme) shows and had to stop at McDonald's to get the order CORRECT!!!!! This is NOT rocket science, it's just fast food. I guess we should take a little responsibility for not checking... but when the girl handed us 4 bags and said, "that's everything. Have a good night." Sorry, but I'm feed-up with this store. This is NOT the first time they've messed up. Usually it's not a big deal, didn't put the bacon on the side-they just didn't give us ANY bacon. Or put extra cheese on the chili when we DIDN'T ask for ANY cheese. I see from OTHER YELP posts... I'm not the only person that gets messed up orders. THIS STORE DOES NOT represent Wendy's very well. If I were in Wendy's corporate office, I'd consider closing the franchise.
