We were a little nervous picking up food here since ther reviews were pretty horrible,but we had these coupons that were burning a hole in our pockets so we chanced it. Im not sure if we went on a really good day but there was only 1 car in front of us in the drive thru and the girl who took our order let us use 2 coupons on that visit. She sounded a little flustered(not sure why) but still remained super nice. The only thing that went wrong was they forgot our fries but luckily it wasnt a big deal since we checked before leaving the lot(its super rare that i check, but her voice sounded like she probably would forget something). Its kind of hard to write a review when the employees are nice but the food sucks! I went to Wendy's last night for a late night dinner. I got the Spicy chicken meal in a medium size. When I got food, I drove off back home. Just like all of us, I snack on the fries before I get home. The fries were all salty and it tasted like it was refried after its been sitting out for a while. It was stale and all soft filled with oil in the middle..mmmmmm right? NO! I threw them away and lost my appetite. When I got home, I got hungry again and opened my sandwich. What do you know! Burnt crust from the grill from old meat being cooked on it were stuck on my chicken. What the hell was the cook doing? SMH! Right then I lost all good thoughts for Wendy's. I am really glad Wendy's is back in Wahiawa. When I am craving a fast food burger or spicy chicken sandwich this is my go to. I used to have to drive to Pearl City for Wendys but no more! At least Wendy's Spicy Chicken sandwich has some spice in it. Unlike some of the other fast food so called spicy chicken. After looking at the other reviews I guess I've been lucky that the service I've received here has always been good and the food has been fresh. YMMV read more

All I want to say is 15 people waiting in line to order and no one was at the cash register taking orders. Every fast food restaurant needs a dedicated person who just takes orders and maybe occasionally fills drinks or bags food, but they can't be shirking their responsibility to take orders. read more

I am starting to think that Wendy's is my favorite fast food restuarant. They have my favorite, the baconator, an awesome new southwestern salad that had two huge scoops of avocado on it, and always a clean restaurant with friendly staff. My kids love here because they can get a burger, a side of chicken nuggets, fries, and drink. I love that my kids are happy and the food is fresh and great tasting. My wife likes that she can get just the right amount of food for a great price. The service is usually pretty good and they ask for your name so they can call you when your food is ready which makes the experience more personable. They have multiple drink machines in which you can get many different variations of sodas. The 4 for $5 deal is good and you get lots of fries to share. The new salad is little over $7 and tastes great and is filling. It makes me feel little better after eating all the fries and soda during the meal. read more

Drive through line was long so I decided to go in. I Been waiting about 20 minutes now and still have not been helped. There were 4 people ahead of me and 2 waiting for their food. One girl on the register and the same girl was running the food out. The wait was really not a big problem as I knew it was the lunch rush. But, the reason for the one star was : the cashier. She was nice, and very apologetic about the wait, but... The fact that she was handling the money then pulling the food (French fries, drink cups, frostys) WITHOUT washing her hand /gloves really bothered me. Visited in the evening around 8pm on the weekend. Found inside the restaurant to be dirty and unkept. Tables were dirty and not wiped clean. There was "rings" from the condensation of drinks that were left to dry on the table. A few brown rings were found....probably from a chocolate Frosty. The floor next to the self serve drink machines were rather slippery. My wife had almost slipped and fell if she didn't pay attention and catch herself quickly. When we go to our table, noticed that my shoes were making a sound....yes, the floor on that side was sticky. Probably had not been mopped for awhile OR the water used for the mop wasn't clean. However, the food order was correct, they were fast with our order. Taste of the food was decent however the food temperature wasn't "piping hot." Drive through was long so we decided to go inside. There was a long line inside as well but we didn't have to wait long to be served and get our meals. The drink fountains must have been leaking or something because there was a huge puddle on the floor that they had stuck a wet floor sign over. It was still super dangerous and needed to be mopped straight away. Especially because there were elderly with walking sticks trying to access the drink fountains. Wendy's in Waipio has the worst drive thru customer service. For some reason all the people who take drive thru orders have zero customer service skills. Ironically right in the driveway is a huge quote on service. Sadly even the super service at the actual drive thru window cannot take away from the service you had at ordering. I have to say that when it comes to burger joints Wendy's customer service is #1. I took a short survey and noted our order that night was wrong. (That's all I'm gonna say about it). It was no time at all and I had an e-mail response from the location I went to. They were compassionate towards my frustration and immediately made it right. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! I thought this Wendy's was super classy and the food was great!! The new strawberry chicken salad is AMAZING. I highly recommend it. The quarter pounder is NOT WORTH IT. Just get some burgers off the value menu and you'll be way happier. They also ran out of chocolate frosties so we had vanilla which was awesome because we added root beer to it when we were halfway done and made root beer floats! #delish read more

Eaten here, mostly during lunch, about 5 time in last year in a half. Great food most of the time and one of the fastest drive thurs once you get to the area you can order that is. Last time I was there was the day I regret going. Potato was old, burgers old my whole order seemed like old food. Unlike the last few time I went were the food was perfect. This place is the worst. The guy at the counter walked off for like 10 minutes to assemble orders since the rest of the staff was more concentrated on the drive through. My first visit to Wendy's in Wahiawa. I avoided the drive thru so I could check out the inside. Kinda cozy. You order at one counter and squeeze your way over to another to pick up your food. The service was slow. The staff are friendly and try hard. The manager, who reminded me of Wesley Snipes, just paced back and forth not really helping out. The food was OK so I'll probably visit again. It's a brand new facility but was looking a little messy. Years ago I worked at the McDonald's one block away. I was surprised to find that the customer service has greatly improved! I gave an extra star for the drive thru worker there. Wish I got her name. Way to slow. On average it was taking 4-5 min per person at the register. Had a line of abut 10 people in front of us and it took around 45 min to get our food. This was the second trip here because we do like some of their food, the first time we went to the drive-thru and it took 35ish min with only 6 cars ahead of us. When you first walk through the door you are hit with this strange smell. It's a smell you can't put your finger on almost makes me think go back home and a chicken coop. So if you can get over the smell then the food is just average. It's always pretty busy and service is really slow.
