Incredibly slow service. Sat in the drive thru line for about 25 minutes on a Wednesday evening around 8pm. It was taking them 8-10 minutes per car to serve the orders. If I hadn't already ordered through the app for pickup and already paid, I would've left. Absolutely terrible. read more

On a weekend visit to Williamsburg, there wasn't much else open in the area (Taco Bell AND McDonalds were both closed, and it wasn't even 8 PM yet on a Friday night). This location is OK. The drive-thru line moved quickly, and the service was chipper and professional. My food order was fulfilled incorrectly---I asked for the crispy chicken sandwich but got the grilled. I double-checked my receipt, and I did order correctly. The fries were good, the beverage was cold and refreshing, and the other meal in the order (junior bacon cheeseburger) was made correctly and tasted good. This franchise has quite literally helped us survive the pandemic. We live only about 5 minutes from them. There is also a KFC and a McDonalds within yards of this store. Wendy's has risen so far above the other two in every area: Order fulfillment, friendliness, food quality, organization, you name it. Only once out of dozens of orders has an order not been exactly right when we got it home. I just want to thank the management and staff of this Wendy's location for navigating the challenges of this past year, and for the sacrifices and effort you made to keep your doors (well... your drive-thru) open to serve us. You will wait in line for at least 30-45 minutes then when you get to the order kiosk you will wait there for another 5 minutes. I had to ask if they were slaughtering the cows in the back because of how long it took. If you have no where to be that day, this is the slow food restaurant for you. read more

I can drive up ask for combo # say the size and drink and be done in 5 seconds flat. Starving after a long day spent at Busch gardens, we were in line at 11:35 and a guy came out giving us a heads up closing time was 12:00. I wouldn't normally review a fast food place, but this Wendy's deserves special mention. After running the Shamrock Marathon in VA Beach and letting our stomachs settle, we stopped in Williamsburg to find something to eat. This Wendy's, near Busch Gardens, was our best option. This location appeared to be a brand new Wendy's, and was much nicer than other locations I've been in/seen. The main reason for mentioning this Wendy's is that the delicious Baconators we ordered ACTUALLY looked like the picture on the menu. This is the first fast food experience I've ever had where the item ordered looked like the item advertised. Just for that, this Wendy's is above the rest of the competition. The burger was tasty (anything would have been after doing a marathon but still...) and I'd stop here again if we had to get fast food and we were in the area. Kudos to this location. read more

We went to this Wendys after a long day at Busch Gardens October 6 after midnight. We got in line about 20 minutes before closing. They took a long time getting people through. By the time we got close to the window they closed down. There was one car ahead of us waiting for their order to be taken. No one came over the intercom. The passenger of the car in front of us walked up to the window and came back and said the guy was watching the game. They waited and we waited. Still nothing so the same guy went back to the window then the employee said they were closed. They could have easily taken our orders or informed us they were closed. Someone could have come outside or something. We waisted 30 plus minutes just to be disappointed. These kind of issues need to be resolved. read more

Wow. This was the worst service ever. We stopped in after leaving Busch gardens and we're all hungry and tired and thirsty. Cashier seemed to be bothered that she had to work. Didn't greet anyone and was just plain rude. Only to be topped by the managers rudeness. We were there at least 30 min before closing of the inside part and when my friends son got back as number 2 in a line of 3 people was told he had to get out of line because the inside was closing. I visited this Wendys on December 11th. The whole place was amiss. I ordered a burger with no pickles and extra onions, only to get my sandwich and find extra pickles and NO ONIONS! but only after heading down the road a few miles first. The staff was ignorant argumentative and had a problem taking a $50 bill for an order in excess of $15. We also ordered a diet cola and got a spite. When I finally reached the speaker to order, they said that they were too busy to take orders at the drive through and that walk-ins are more important. I eat at wendys because when my family travels i know im going to get at least a decent fast food experience here. First off, this place is disgusting. The floors in the ordering area are greasy, the bathrooms are nasty and my son had to wash his hands after just touching the waiting line rail. Then it took almost ten minutes to get our food?!?
