This place is not good. Staff were arguing with customer as soon as we walked into the door, and the bathrooms were nasty. The fries were cold and my Jr bacon burger did not look appetizing at all, there was more cheese, mayo, and lettuce than anything else, like way too much, and the meat was cold and hard to chew. I'm 43 and have been to quite a few fast food restaurants in my day. I might say this was one one the least prepared and disorganized I've ever been to. My family ordered. After I ordered the cashier asked if I saw a small, hand-written sign that said they were out of ingredients for their promo-sandwich. So, I looked on the menu and asked for a different sandwich. After a few minutes, they told me they didn't have cheese to make that sandwich either. Right about that time they ran out of fries. The shift manager was in the back belittling the staff saying that they used too many fries and that's why they ran out. The nice cashier, doing her best, wrote and note on paper that said, 'no fries' and taped it to her cash register. But, no one spoke to the people in line ordering. The shift manager stayed behind the scenes yelling at staff. No one seemed to know what to do. I asked for a refund to go next door, hoping they'd have food and knew how to make it. It took many minutes before the unhelpful manager came up and gave me a refund. I'm so glad we left, the staff were so confused, had no idea what to do, or how to move forward. If you're stopping from the highway, please consider other places to stop. read more

Ok, this place is located on an exit where there are three choices, three, I do like some Wendy's so the math was easy. I did read the reviews and none were particularly outstanding but, again, three choices. When the car in Front of us pulled out of the line and left before they paid or got food it didn't speak well to our choice, so, Fast food= fast/efficient/friendly Lots of bickering in the kitchen, confusion, again, with the reviews I had already I was not expecting this to end well. So again, fast food, Fast/friendly/efficient This wasn't a complete train wreck but, not particularly fast, certainly not efficient, fries were not very hot, burger patties a bit dry, and somehow it seemed the "friendly" came and went. My review? Meh. If I had another option here, I would take it. I would offer that with a little better management and training this place could do much much better. So, meh. read more

This has to be the WORST Wendy's in the entire franchise! DO NOT STOP HERE! We stopped on a Friday night driving through on our way back to Florida. The entire place was disgusting, and the entire staff seemed to be walking in and out of the restaurant while noticeably smoking marijuana (whole place reeked of weed). Every table was dirty, the floor was littered with debris, and the bathrooms were gross. Even our 8 and 11 year old sons were grossed out (and I wouldn't say they're super particular). The food wasn't even warm, even though we waited a while for it, and the order was wrong and missing items. No one appeared to be in charge of the staff or supervising in any way. I rarely review fast food or chains in general, but this place has something special: customer service above and beyond. The friendly and competent service started the moment we walked in the door and never stopped. Our order was made quickly and with no mistakes, and when we came back up asking for extra sauces, crackers, and sour cream, they were generous. And it's all those add-ins that make the food edible. The space itself is also pretty clean and spacious. I'm happy we stopped here. Even though the food isn't great, there's always the option of chili and baked potatoes, setting it apart from the typical fast food fare. I would stop at Wendy's on road trips more often if they all had this kind of service. read more

They want $2.69 for a cup of water. Yes you read that right. FOR WATER. I've never been to a fast food joint let alone a Wendy's that charged for water. I cancelled my order and moved on. I advise that you do the same and don't support the crooks. read more

Wendy's on Highway 17 in Yemassee is a reliable Wendy's location when you are hungry and need to make that stop. They are quick and efficient at getting everything together when you make your order. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here and have enjoyed the food. read more

Don't visit this Wendy's! The worst Wendy's or fast food place I've ever visited! First, I tried to order a baked potato but they were out. I ordered 2 combo meals. When I tried to get our drinks, one drink machine was not even on. The other wouldn't dispense ice. They called my name for my order and there was only one sandwich and one fry in the bag. I told him I had 2 sandwiches and 2 fries. The young boy says "we got you". Then about 5 minutes later my name disappears off the order board. I again told him I was missing food and my name went off the board. He again said "we got you". I finally got another bag with a sandwich and fries in it. Bright smiles were already lit up before we walked in. As we were deliberating about our order the girl behind the counter offered us some suggestions. As we were ordering the guy cooking the food was listening in to get our order started just a few seconds sooner. As we hung out waiting for our food a few of the staff were chatting with us and joking around. The food was good, affordable, hot and fast. This was the best example of customer service I've ever encountered at a Wendy's. The line was long, so I had a ton of time to watch how energetic and fun she was with every customer. I second guessed the lady at the counter because it was so fast, I didn't even have time to get my drink. Your service may vary, but we had a great experience. Tesla chargers in the rear. Stopped in on our way out of town and this was the last good stop for a while that had food. The location is either fairly new, or they keep it really clean. In a nutshell, don't go to this location. The bathrooms were a mess. The paper towel dispenser was open without any paper towels in it and the people working here couldn't take the time to put the toilet paper roll in the holder while also not emptying the trash bins in the stalls. Upon ordering, my brother ordered a baconator and got a son of the baconator. We complained about it and they said it was the same thing just single.
