Being a Wendy's online club member gives me free fries any size every Friday! So, What the heck, I'll go on down and get me some free fries. It's with a min $5.00 purchase. That's cool, I get the Wendy's double stack for $3.99 and get 2 of them. It's like a smaller double cheeseburger. I order online and add a large order of fries for free. Then I just go down and pick it up all paid for. What I love about Wendy's burgers, you can add all kinds of toppings (except more meat) for FREE, like lettuce, tomato, onions, catsup, mustard and mayo. I added all those extra amounts to both the double stack burgers. Try that at burger king or other fast food ... all extra cost! I get there and say online order to pick up. The cashier looks up my order and they start making the burgers as ordered with all the extra stuff and my free large order of fries. Just water to drink today. The inside is clean and looks kinda like most fast food places. The food is ready and I go to a table. Yeah, these burgers are way more heavy with all the stuff I added. The fries were all hot and crispy and the burgers were hot. Heck, I only had room in my tummy for just one of these double stack burgers, so I'll save the other for later. I changed my order (before paying) because I looked at the sandwich price rather than the combo price (my mistake). Today was not the day that I wanted to pay $14+ for a combo meal. Every visit to Wendy's in Yuba City has been perfect. The food is prepared exactly as requested, service is fast, the dining room is always clean, and the big screen TV is great for a brief visit to whatever sporting event is on. The staff working behind the counter that has served me have been professional and very pleasant. I use my Wendy's mobile app to make the orders, and by the time I walk into the store the food is almost ready, every time. I couldn't ask for better service or quality of the meal. On this January 1st afternoon visit I had the Avocado Chicken Salad and a burger. The salad was really tasty and loaded with grilled chicken, avocado, and bacon. This salad is a full meal in itself, and adding a sandwich was almost too much food, but it was all so good. French fries are consistently well made, always hot and fresh. For entertainment value there are wild roosters roaming near the parking lot. Makes me think of Knott's Berry Farm. Very slow service. They leave burgers next to cooking equipment but not under a warmer. The burger I ordered came from that counter and at least 4 staff members touched the burger to see which order it was for. When they gave it to me it was lukewarm to cold. Asked for a freshly cooked burger. They shuffled burgers around and "freshly cooked burger" was still lukewarm. if it was freshly cooked, it should have been piping hot. I seriously think they just shuffled things around and gave me the same lukewarm burger they originally gave me. it was so sloppily made that ketchup was all over inside the wrapper and the bun was soggy. Purchased the Fish sandwich combo today at the drive up. The sign indicated that it would be 5 min and was reiterated by the person on the intercom. I was fine with that, thinking at least I know my fish is fresh and hot. After I paid at the window, I was asked to drive around to the parking lot where they would bring my order out. In the amount of time it took me to swing around and park, and the time that my meal was delivered to me was about 4 minutes "hardly enough time to cook a piece of Fish. However, when the guy brought out my order "not dressed to indicate he was in any way affiliated with WENDY's ", the fries were very hot and I had my drink, so off I go. When I pulled out my sandwich, it was toasty brown and dry. They had a ton of pickles on it and the lettuce was only the white ribbed part. I believe they took an already prepared piece of fish and dropped it back in the fryer!!! There is no way they could have cooked a fresh piece of fish in that little amount of time and gotten it so OVER DONE! Went to Wendy's in Oroville for the Panko Fish Sandwich on Feb.23, 2024 around 11:30 am, I tossed the receipt after attempting to do online survey. Service was good, didn't take too long for the food. The French fries could have been hotter, cooled off rapidly but at least they were not cold from the start. The Sandwich was Very Disappointing, no better than Burger King maybe worse. Not much to the fish itself thin and not much flavor. I tried to take the survey online, but couldn't quite make out the store number on the receipt ..a bit greasy in parts. So i tried to proceed and at the end it offered me the opportunity to continue the survey, and then it tells me I don't qualify. Wendy's is my new favorite place to eat!! I've lived in Yuba City my whole life and haven't really been a huge fan. A couple months ago I was with a buddy who wanted to stop and eat there so I figured I'd just order something so we didn't have to make two stops and boy was I surprised!! The fries are probably the best fries I have ever had, everything was fresh and if you order the biggie bag, it's VERY reasonably priced. Since then I've been hooked! Today I decided it was time to try the breakfast and I was shocked at how good it was! If you haven't been in a while you might want to stop by and give it another try! When you order a combo they ask "medium or large?" As if there's no "small" option. I know this is a marketing ploy but be aware- they DO have small! This review is only based on their Frosty's. The food is good, just like every other Wendy's. However, this restaurant seems to have an inability to make a Frosty correctly. As everyone knows, a Frosty is basically thick soft-serve ice cream. At this place, they come out as fluffy whipped cream. This is either an equipment failure or they intentionally do this to save money by providing less product. If I wanted whipped cream I'd buy Cool Whip. We just came here. As we pulled up there was a homeless person standing at the speaker. This made us feel very uncomfortable ordering right there because he would be right outside our car with our window rolled down we were concerned for our safety. With this being said we decided to try and go to the window to order our food and while waiting there for about 5 minutes, the woman at the window while helping another customer raised her voice at us with attitude and claimed" You can go to the speaker it works." As we tried to explain our situation we were met with more attitude until I decided to get out of the car to nicely explain the situation and see if it would be fine to order our food there. She claimed" Theres nothing we can do." Now as someone who has worked in the fast food industry, I know it can be pretty stressful sometimes so I try to understand and not give too many problems but the situation was handled very rudely and was very unprofessional. Continuing from that, working from the industry I know you can do something about the homeless guy situation but if they didn't want to handle him it would have been really nice if she could just take our order at the window and we wouldn't have minded pulling to the front to wait for our food. I am extremely upset with the way my order was handled, I had to argue with the employees in the drivethru to get the drinks that I ordered, I drove 35 miles back to my house only to find that I didn't receive the chili I ordered, I drove all the way back to the restaurant, that is only open in the drivethru, to get the chili, the employee in the drivethru said he heard me ask for the chili but didn't put it in and they wanted me to pay for it, I was appalled as I had to pay for the gas on a second mistake already, they threatened to call the cops and I had people honking in the drivethru. I asked for the names of the employees and they said I could not have them, I asked for the manager and regional managers name and numbers and it was not provided. This location has to be the worst location I have ever been to and I will be leaving a yelp review as well. I payed for the chili and they still wanted to argue with me, as I have worked in fast food and as a manager to a department store, and am a journeyman electrician in the IBEW, I cannot believe the way this was handled over $5. They really need to figure it out especially if the mistake is theirs. I still want the regional managers number and would like to talk to them, as threatening to call the cops is rediculous. I had all the employees in the window yelling at me, this store should be shut down in my opinion due to lack of customer service and mistakes that should not have been made, it cost me more in gas to travel back to the store than my whole order cost. I will never go to a Wendy's again in my life, and will spread the word of the horrible customer service. Between wearing masks, speaking very quickly, and with a heavy accent,it becomes quite difficult to understand what they are saying. Worst Wendy's establishment I have been to. It's the closest location to me and I have not received items I have ordered on multiple occasions. Some have been wrong but I have dealt with it. It is different when you pay for items and dont even receive them. When I called back the staff said as very rude and said drive 20 min back and we will give you the food we did not give you when you ordered. When I asked for a refund at least I had to drive back for that too. They didn't even offer to make it right for wasting my time and money, they just offered to waste my time and money more to drive back for what I paid for already. If the customer service was better this would be a 5 star review, or if they even gave any inclination they cared at all that I gave them my money for nothing. I can't afford my time to waste about an hour for food I ordered and paid for on my receipt that I just wasn't given. It wouldn't be as bad if the staff was not careless about wasting my time and money and hung up on me twice. It is very frustrating. I'm a single dad and my time is precious. I love Wendy's but this particular restaurant just doesn't quite do it right. They are slower than other Wendy's I've been to, and they tend to mess up orders. Lately when I've gone, they claim to have run out of mustard or just don't use it on any of their sandwiches anymore. They will still give you the little packets, but they can't put mustard on anything for some odd reason. They are a little better than they were before the remodel, but not by much. So I haven't had Wendy's in about 10yrs, due to getting severely sick off a burger. Tried it last night because it was open super late. Ordered a Jr. cheeseburger and a a crispy chicken. I always open my burgers to take off some of the sauce, I noticed I was given an old piece of lettuce that had started to turn brown...it was slimy and gross. Forget this place, they are not Truck driver friendly. Today the Lobby is closed, no lock down in place at the moment because of Corona. Wendy's wants to charge you $3.49 delivery fee for bringing your order to the front door. Boycott all business whom don't allow drivers to order food. I'm updating this to a 2* review not because they deserve it but because people need to know about how rude the staff is. We ordered food on 8.13.21 and we ordered it for pick up in the dining room. At 6pm we went to pick up our food just to find out that they close the dining room to the public at 5pm(this was not mentioned on the app or posted on any sign featuring their hours). My wife and I stood there for a good 5 minutes being ignored until I called and was instructed to get in line for the drive-thru to get our food. We specifically ordered carry out pick up because of how bad that line gets and how slow they service people. Had the possible WORST customer service experience imaginable! This Yuba City Location of Wendy's that I visited via drive thru forgot to give me a bag of my order. Upon realizing this at my home (which is 20 mins away) I called them to have the situation corrected the worker named Jackie asked me to bring my half eaten food back for a full refund as opposed to asking the opportunity to correct their mistake. In complete anger yes I asked for a full refund as she was not once apologetic for the restaurant's mistake or ever mentioning to correcting the mistake! When I arrive there with my food they only want to refund me the eaten food I brought back and not anything else they said they had already given me calling me a liar! Long story short visit and eat here at ur own risk! If they make a mistake they will not correct it by any means!!! I would like to lodge an official complaint against our Wendy's restaurant in Yuba City, CA. My daughter has been employed there for only a few months. Although she is 27 she has never had a job before as she has some learning disabilities. She was so excited to actually have a job, since then she has be demoralized. The first day she was struggling with the register and the manager told her that if she cries at work she would be fired. Since then she has been assigned to clean and greet customers, which was fine. Yesterday she was accused of lying about how many customers she had greeted. She got upset and walked away, she didn't want them to see her cry (they had already told her they would fire her if she cried). She went to the bathroom to regain her composure and then the manager dismissed her and told her not to come back today. I am so shocked at the lack of sensitivity and lack of compassion. I will never go back to this Wendys and I will relay this treatment to anyone I know in this area. read more

The worst ever. I ordered two sodas and a small order of fries around 9pm through drive thru. I was at the drive thru window for 5 minutes waiting for them to help me. When they finally handed me my food, they had charged me for a medium and large fries that I hadn't ordered and hadn't even given them to me. So my $6 turned into a $13 and I didn't even get the food they charged me for. There were 4 girls working the drive and they all didn't know what was going on and just ignored me. Will never ever return and will warn friends too. The strawberry lemonade is too bitter and the pear berry tea isn't good either. Ended up throwing out 90% of what I ordered. This place sucks.
