Mike came out next day and told us (washer) would be practically more expensive to repair then replace.

It wasn't what I needed. I called the next morning to see if I could cancel. First, I learned they are, indeed, a real store. And second, they could not have been nicer or more understanding. They went ahead and cancelled the order no questions asked. If you need a vacuum, buy it from them. If you're buying online, have no fear - they're a real business with real people. If they're a little more expensive, you're supporting a small business. It's worth it.

I can't say enough good things about the team at CJ Miller Vacuum Center. Two years ago, I came in…read moreto have my vacuum repaired as it had lost suction. I was in the office two minutes, and the gentleman quickly greeted me, and asked me about the "symptoms" of my ailing vacuum. He took it into the back room and quickly diagnosed- and cleared- a clog caused by a smaller branch from the Christmas tree that had become lodged around the curved tubing at the base of the canister. When I asked what I owed him for the repair, he said, "nothing". I insisted he take a $20, despite him declining multiple times. Fast forward to today... I returned because my vacuum was once again losing suction. By this time, I had already watched a handful of YouTube videos to break down the vacuum and clear the obvious blockages. The store was busy, but the gentleman evaluating the vacuums was very courteous and patient with each customer. After sharing my vacuum's performance issue, as well as my vigorous efforts to clear any obvious clogs, the gentleman quickly identified a potential clog near the handle of my vacuum. Deftly, he dismantled the handle and, sure enough, there was a clog. Once again, he took it to the back and removed the clog, returning my vacuum in minutes. He plugged it in an immediately the vacuum roared to life and it was clearly working. I was immensely grateful, and asked what I would owe... happy to pay for the rapid service repair. Once again, the gentleman said "nothing" and I needed to insist on a small payment. I was FLOORED that any business would provide an immediate service repair for nothing- and even more amazed that they had done it twice for me, without expectation of payment. From now on, I will be going to CJ Miller for all of my cleaning appliance repairs and future purchases, and recommending them to all of my friends! Wonderful staff- exceptional service!

Eventually we got to their one Master technician, who repaired it perfectly in one visit. SteamOven: At this point, we are over $2,000 into repair costs, amost 2 years of time and still do not have a working combi steam Miehle oven. Before we realized they only have one Master tech, other techs came out multiple times, replacing $800 steam generator more than once. Not repaired. Once we had identified their one superior technician we entered a cycle where he would request a part be ordered, the wrong part was delivered, he would visit and we had the wrong part. Now we needed to try to get funds refunded so we could enter the next cycle and try to reorder the part again. In the fifth version of this we were treated to hearing the owner of the company call our valued tech and curse and swear at him, accusing him of all kinds of things... Believe me, this one tech is the only reason this company must ever get anything repaired! We have spoken to Patty, spoken to everyone who picks up the phone at Fast Appliance. If you have high end appliances and Kiefer or Gearhard sent you here, settle in for a very frustrating experience.

The local retailer i purchased it through, contacted Whirlpool (parent company) for warranty work. Whirlpool uses FAST appliances repair, and only them apparently. The tech showed up on a Friday at 3pm. I explained the issue to him and he gave me a bullshit story about how they all do that, and I should switch shelves around. He said there is nothing he could do. He never even took out a tool from his bag, never even checked the temperature of the fridge or the freezer. Did absolutely nothing except stand in my kitchen and lie to my face. Retailer trying to get another repair service approved. Nothing but pushback from Whirlpool, insisting that FAST appliance is the only factory authorized company. I agreed to FAST returning, but will not let the same technician set foot on my property. They were going to send their "master tech". Well, two weeks later, I get a call from the same previous tech saying he's on his way. Umm.... No, you're not. It's been a month already, and still not resolved.
