Well all I have to say is completely ridiculous. Food was supposed to be ready for take out at 705 waited around until after 730 finally got it and I was missing my crab Rangoon! When we called to get the money returned to the card they refused and said it would be an hr before another batch was ready! Never again. read more

Decided to check this place out due to a cousin's recommendation and was not disappointed. Everything inside is fresh and clean and bright. The menu was pretty expansive and had plenty of vegetarian options for me and traditional options for my dad. I even explained to the waitress that my dad couldn't have spicy food due to a medical issue and she said she would personally tell the cook to make his dish mild. I stopped here to try the food our. Very impressed. I'm actually half Chinese so Noone food is as good as my mother's home cooking. I've grown up around many great cooks and this food was amazing. I tried the moo shoo pork which is one of my favorites. The House Fried Rice was yummy the shrimp was as big as the container. Yes.... Everyone was so friendly and it made me feel like family. We started going here as part of our search for real Asian cooking. We are use to Seattle, SF, LA and San Diego, which has some of the best Asian restaurants anywhere. Wens has been a very credible find. It's a little eclectic in style, with Thai, Chinese, and even a little Viet twist. But, the food is enjoyable. The quality of the kitchen is also pretty good. So far, it's one of the better places in Austin area we have found for Asian cuisine. It's one of our solid places to go when not cooking at home. read more

Our first time and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The young man suggested Mongolian beef and for my wife he suggested the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Becky does not care for spicy. The Mongolian beef was as good as I have had in several years and it was a good size entree serving. Once I started eating the Mongolian beef I couldn't stop. I noticed my wife eating off my plate and she never got ahold of a bite too Spicy for her. We both liked the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Becky didn't care for the glass of wine because it smelled and tasted like it had been opened for a couple of days or more. She pointed it out to the young lady that came over to our table to see how we were doing. She immediately ran over opened a new bottle of Cabernet and brought over a fresh glass of wine. I know that we will be back because it's a big deal to my wife that the wine have a good taste and bouquet. The food was good and so was the service. Looking forward to going back soon!! read more

This is our 3rd incident with Wen's, I will no longer order from them again. We had food delivered on Saturday, food arrived and we were missing our crab rangoons, no big deal, I called in, received a credit, or so I thought. 45 minutes later our doorbell rings and food was being delivered again. I ran to the driver to tell him we already had our food delivered and the mass confusion started, he couldn't understand english, he had to call the store. He ended up taking the food back, then my husband tells me to check the bank. They had charged my card again, when I called they explained they had to void and charge my card, however both items showed pending. I don't know why they voided my transaction and charged again, when she asked me for my entire card number and cvv when she was going to credit me for the crab rangoons. A few months back I ordered and they forgot my sweet & sour sauce for my sweet and sour chicken, they told me they'd give me a credit for another meal, when I called for my free meal a few weeks later they told me they had no record on my online account, no big deal I placed my order and all was fine. Back in August of 2020, I ordered food to be delivered to my Mom, they misdelivered it to my house and no one was home. An hour later my mom calls and tells me she has not received her food, I call and they tell me they delivered it, give me a time and confirm my mom's address. She didn't receive it, they had delivered it to my address. Then they have the audacity to tell me if I can just take the food that had been at my doorstep for almost an hour to my mom. I told them no, that this was clearly their mistake and the food had been sitting outside for almost an our. The person asks me yet again if I can take the food to my Mom. I had to finally yell at them and tell them that I was not at home, the food had been outside for nearly an hour and it was their mistake they had misdelivered. After this incident I stopped going for almost 6 months. We started ordering again in February, I've had three deliveries and two have been wrong, so I'm done with them, I will take my business to T. I ordered take out twice, food was ready and hot on arrival. Very large portions, the pan fried dumplings are huge and very tasty. Each of the items I ordered were tasty. My only problem was the cashew chicken had peanuts instead and was missing the snow peas and green onions. Made it taste more like peanut chicken! We tried Wens for the first time and here are my thoughts on this restaurant. Seated right way. Ordered Crab Rangoon they tasted great. One problem it they can at the same time my husband's food arrived. He ordered Cumin Beef, looked great. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, here is the problem. Lots of chicken but maybe 10 small pieces of vegetables 2 pieces of pineapple 1 or 2 pieces of green pepper a couple slices of carrots and a couple pieces of onion. The waitress came by and told her I was disappointed in the amount of vegetables and she said she would get me some. You guessed it correctly NO VEGETABLES ever arrived, no mention of them. We then paid and left. Not 100% sure we will go back. If the mgt wants to comment I would love to hear from them. read more

Great Chinese food at an amazing price. You get a ton of food for the money and it's a great value. Takeout is consistently ready in 15 minutes. The sit down restaurant itself is gorgeous and squeaky clean. This isn't Panda Express masquerading as Chinese food, this is the real deal.
