Their offerings of my Childhood Cuisine were Delicious. My Buddy and I left Happily Full with ToGo Boxes and wanting to return. The empanadas I would not get again nor the pernil dish but the steak was delicious. I would definitely recommend that dish and would come back for it. The empanadas barely had any filling and for $12, it was basically just a bunch of fried dough. The reason for 3 stars is they really really need to improve in staffing. There was a hostess who was helping seat people, clean tables, and help with water refills. There was only one waiter, maybe a second person but I hardly saw her? The one waiter was noticeably overworked and stressed out trying to help everyone. There is also only one cook and it took a really long time for most tables to get their food. My steak dish came out but didn't have a steak knife, I wanted to ask for a knife but there was no staff around for a while that I could ask. Also my rice was pretty cold when I got it and my boyfriend's dish was also not hot. Probably was standing out waiting to be brought to us but due to staffing could not be brought to us right as it came out is my guess. I really do think this restaurant has potential but only if the owner addresses the staffing shortages.

I have been following this truck on social media as they are in Rancho Cucamonga every now and…read morethen. I'm totally all for supporting small/family business and was very excited to try their food. I finally placed an order online for 2 entrees and a side. With tax AND tip the total came out close to $40 which I paid with my credit card. When I was filling out their online form, there was an option for Curbside Pick up which I checked. It asked how they would recognize us and I had to provide the Make and Model of our vehicle. In the notes section, I also requested they put our order in the trunk of our car when we arrived. On the day of: ======================= 12:51 PM - Received a text message that our order was ready for pick up. "Once outside, reply HERE to this message or call 323-507-6404 and we'll bring your order to you." 12:51 PM [Us] - "HERE" 12:51 PM [Them] - "Please wait. Someone will be out soon to bring your order to you." 12:52 PM [Us]- "Okay can you put it in the trunk of our car. I parked right in front of you." 1:11 PM [Us]- "Almost ready?" We called the 323 phone number twice and nobody picked up. 1:23 PM [Us] - "Sorry we have to leave, can you cancel our order?" Called the (323) number one more time; no answer. At this point it's 1:30 PM, there's a long line and a lot of people are standing around waiting for their food. My husband has medical issues so there was no way he was going to get out and he would not let me either. We ended up waiting for ~45 minutes before we left around 1:35 PM. I figured I would have to contact them for a refund. I emailed them about the cancellation and requested for a refund. During these times, my husband and I have been EXTRA patient and understanding with businesses so is why we even waited. While disappointed, my husband and I were discussing that we would give them another shot next time they came to our area. 2:45 PM - I get ANOTHER text message saying that our order is ready and to come pick up our food. I replied that we were there 2 hours ago and left already. I had asked to cancel our order. Then a woman calls my cellphone and angrily said that we did not follow instructions and were supposed to check in at the window. I don't understand what the point of "curbside" is then. Plus the text message I received said "Please wait. Someone will be out soon to bring your order to you." which never implied we had to "check in" with them at the window. While my husband was trying to respond to her, she talked over him yelling and hung up on us! We were both surprised at how that was handled. I don't understand why she was so angry when we did follow the instructions provided. Later, I received an email response for my refund request and it basically copied and pasted instructions about having to check in at the window, again making it as though we did something wrong. We WERE willing to give them another try, but after that experience, it totally changed our minds. This was our first time ordering with them so if there was some misunderstanding on either end, I get that, but I thought the instructions were clear that we were doing curbside and someone was going to bring our food to our car. Even if they had apologized for the mix up, we would have returned, but after getting yelled at and hung up on, wow... no thanks. (After reading some of the other reviews, it seems like even if you pre-pay for your food, they still ended up waiting and some have experienced the same customer service as us.)

L.A's only Puerto Rican food truck is a must try. The menu has a lot of choices, even vegan options. The photos are clear and really helpful. The truck is decorated well. I love their logo. Very friendly staff and prompt service, and very reasonable prices. Everything looks great and I can't wait to try it all. Tonight I tried the Grilled Cheese Tostones. Amazing combination of flavors and textures!! The Tostones are so crunchy, and the cheese is the perfect filling, plus the toppings are wonderful too. I had never had Tostones before and I am hooked. They are gluten free too. This is my favorite food truck.

SERVICE They are all so nice and organized. They have everyone's order laid out on their computer and all of the bags are prepped with identification. As for the food let's get into it: - Galbi Jjim Breakfast Burrito (8/10) One of the most unique breakfast burritos I've tried. Though it's $20, I def think you can share this between two people. It was a bit dry on its own, but once you added the sauces and red onions it was really good. Service was okay, we arrived at our check in time but had to wait a little longer which is fine. Overall I think it was a good experience. Would I go again? I'd go one more time at least
