What a day we had! This little machine is like a grown-up go-cart meets the Batmobile. It's open air - no doors, no roof and the front windshield is low, so we opted to wear the protective headwear and glasses/goggles. We took the back country roads out the 371 and took the Mountain Road out to Indian Wells to visit my parents. You definitely want a windy road to enjoy driving this little speed demon. It's got amazing pick up and is a fun 5-speed standard transmission. It has a GPS and we were even able to sync up our soundtrack for the ride thanks to the Bluetooth connection. My parents really got a kick out of having a ride and the half-day was the perfect rental for us and to spend the day speeding (to the speed limit of course!) along with the wind in our hair on a beautiful Spring day. The whole experience was amazing from beginning to end. We booked it quickly and easily online. We purchased the required additional insurance (under $20) and were locked and loaded with our reservation within 10 minutes. When we arrived for our pick up time, the vehicle was clean and parked ready for take off into the wild blue yonder. The owner is super friendly and full of great tips to make your experience a great one - a true pleasure to do business with. I'm sure i'll be back with my nephews who will really enjoy this! Living close to the manufacturer is a great fringe benefit! Mr. Jack Chalabian, President and founder of K-Jack has taken personal interest in making sure my new Cushman II Deluxe Highlander is in good working order. Almost every time I have brought my bike into the dealership for service, Mr. Chalabian has hand delivered parts himself, just like he did this Saturday. How's that for service? I'd say pretty darn good! So it seems the company,, the dealerships and owners are going through a learning curve together. I've learned to overcome the inconvenience of having no fuel gage. It only took one time running out of gas to learn fast. Word to the wise. Treat the rear tail light assembly like a carton of eegs. The ends of the turn indicators snap easily if they are bumped in the slightest way and they loosen and slip out if position easily too. They may want to consider a sturdier re-design in the future. Also, the owner's manual is for induatrial use, not vehicular use. On the whole, it is an awesome ride. I'm turning heads and getting compliments almost everywhere I go. Cushman II is made in America! That makes it the coolest motor scooter out there, hands down, I say!

After all of the gear I purchased at Cycle Gear fell apart (5 months), I purchased new gloves and a jacket from Temecula Cycles, and they're awesome. David's the kind of guy who is very honest about products, so if you go in there asking about a certain brand, he may recommend a different one. He only speaks from experience with products, and he has a lot of that to go around. Jeff in the back is a separate shop, but they work together for parts and service. Labor rate is almost half of what TMS is, and Jeff is professional and very knowledgeable about all bikes, dirt bikes, sea doos, and everything else. I highly recommend both of these guys before you go to the dealership and get ripped off.

He was professional, responsive, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. The Can-Am ultimately received a complete engine and turbo replacement, and the technicians did an excellent job with the repair. The machine is running great, and the quality of the work has given us confidence in taking it back out on the trails. The front counter personnel was friendly, prompt and has a service with a smile. Area of recommendations for improvements: 1. Customer service (internal and external): I witnessed multiple times in 15 minutes of the service personnel speaking ill of Parts personnel (input of information on an account, credit to a certain personnel for the purchase). Also when wanting to pay, the whole going to the counter to pick out parts and then to the front for payment then back to the counter to receive your parts is so inconvenient. The Services personnel are condensing and short with customers. When asking a questions it feels like you are being reprimanded. 2. Price tags: cost of items was a guessing game.
