One thing in life made easier thanks to Wespaw. 1) The pharmacist is very nice and super helpful 2) prices are almost HALF what I was paying via another local pet pharmacy 3) is willing to hunt down my vet for refills (my vet isnt very responsive), and 3) their staff on 2 occasions has rushed my dogs meds to UPS to ensure I got them in time. She has epilepsy so her meds are key, but often the vet just takes too long to get back to them in time so it pushes it when I might run out of pills. But they get it and are clearly very caring. Plus, they're open to communicating over text so it's easy to coordinate during the day while juggling work and everything else. read more

UPDATED: Promised at 2 pm to deliver my cat's medicine by 8:30 pm. Texted me at 10 pm saying they were still 20 minutes away. At that point I told them to forget it as I had no confidence in the new time either and I was exhausted and unwilling to wait up any longer. They promised to refund my money. However, my bank account only shows the original charge. After this originally more disgusted review posted, the pharmacy contacted me. They sent me a copy of their refund paperwork so it now looks like the problem is with my bank. They did attempt to refund my money and are an honest and concerned business. read more

What can I say?? It takes a lot to surprise me but Sam from Wespaw certainly did. Overnight my dog got terribly sick. Life threatening sick. My regular vet doesn't take emergencies on the weekend so I had to rush him to the nearest animal hospital. Because I have a tiny Chihuahua the hospital didn't have medication ready for such a small dog so they called Wespaw to make a special batch. It was Sunday and all the specialty pharmacies were closed - including Wespaw. But Sam called me and said not to worry he'd open up the pharmacy. I assumed he lived above the store! But he came into Queens from New Jersey and then personally drove the medication to my home in Brooklyn. Wespaw charged nothing more than the regular price had I gone to the store during the week for a regular pick up. The man is a saint! Thank you so very much Sam. read more

I rarely leave reviews, truly only doing so when an establishment has been so good that I want to help business to increase so I can keep using them! Coming on here I see that's clearly not necessary as the reviews are glowing, which doesn't surprise me in the least. My eldest dog has a chronic condition that requires I stay on top of when she's due for her monthly prescription. Last month I had a lot of things going on, including an out-of-state trip. I had arranged to pick up the medication two days before my trip as it would run out halfway through and my dog would be staying with my in-laws. However, there was a covering veterinarian and, long story short, a couple of mistakes were made and I wasn't able to get the medication before my trip. The morning of my flight I was scrambling to make sure everything was resolved. My script ended up getting sent to Wespaw and I am so grateful for this! Sam and his staff worked with me despite multiple confusions (ex. needing to switch delivery addresses to another borough, changing the name of the person who would to sign for the delivery, etc.). Sam worked with me to fix the situation despite it being the result of issues with the vet and bad timing. (Side note: I was frustrated and in the airport at points and am sure I was not at my most pleasant at points but Sam was still great, so thank you and sorry!) In the end, everything worked out and I am so happy with this company. I plan to have any and all scripts for my dogs sent here. Found this gem cause my vet didn't have a few medications and i needed it fast for my dog. Tried to do 1800petmeds and they were taking a bit longer than I wanted and the overnight shipping was costing about $20. So I opted to call wespaw and immediately they contacted me and my vet for the authorization and I was able to get the medications for my baby that night. No delivery charge, to my door without any hassles. And they gave me 2 lollipops for doing business with them. Not sure if the lollipops are for me or my doggie . Sam is so knowledgeable that my veterinarian's entire office regularly relies on his expertise. Plus both he and his staff are consistently kind, compassionate, and caring. As to the person who complained that their delivery was behind schedule, who besides Wespaw is going to deliver pet medication to your door late at night? Delivery times are only an estimate because the driver has to deal with traffic (which is not in the driver's control) and then find a parking space (also not in the driver's control) in order to bring the medication to your door. Customers receive text messages letting you know where the driver is on the route and there's even a link so you can track the driver on a map. They also included lollipops in your medication bag for the human in your pet's life which I thought was a nice touch. Thankfully I did not have to force feed this medication to my pet rabbit.
