I rented my current place from Caren; she was the property manager at that time…read more I've been here 17 years and am grateful that she found a safe home for me to rent. The property has changed hands and things are not the same; but after reading some of the hidden reviews where I was called delusional, I wanted to update my review. Every time I rented from Caren she was very professional, and always seemed to get repairs done quickly and without much interuption to my schedule. Most repairs were assesed and completed within 24-48 hours. When the rental I live in now flooded the second year, she worked things out to get my family and I in to a hotel. Thankfully, I had a family member who worked at a hotel so the owners got a very good reduced rate. Caren handled things in complaince with state laws and always went above and beyond. I have called her to find a new rental and am hopeful she'll get back to me soon.

S.R.I. 's Caren Castelli, I imagine is the quality of property manager who is few and far between…read moreif not an outright exception. Her care for the properties she manages, their tenants and owners is a masterclass in the field. I can't imagine managing more than one residential complex. Caren makes you feel like you are as central a concern as any other tenant. In the 20 years at my residence she has been the property manager for nearly 18 of them. And has made living here a true comfort. She is thoughtful, prompt and more than fair with notifications about repairs. She is an honest, knowledgable, truly pleasant, no nonsense professional. You couldn't ask for better service. Highly recommended!

My main point of contact was Aime who I felt was very attentive, responded to emails quickly, and treated me professionally- she was great to work with! Overall my experience was positive and would recommend Marshall & Co.

BEWARE!!!! I had a horrific experience with Marshall & Co…read more Property Management (specifically working with Sarah Jainchill and Dakota from Laguna Vista Apartments in Tiburon) that felt discriminatory from the very beginning. When I initially inquired about an apartment, Sarah wouldn't even let me fill out an application the moment I mentioned I had a Section 8 voucher. They only came back to me after their other applicants backed down. After waiting an entire month to move in with my family, I arrived at the move in inspection to a complete nightmare. The listing explicitly promised "New beige waffle weave carpet to be installed in all bedrooms" and "luxury vinyl flooring." In one bedroom, management left sharp debris and trash all over the floor from a recent window or paint repair, completely unvacuumed. Dakota explicitly lied to my face, claiming the new carpets were to be taken care of by move in date, only to later shift the blame entirely onto Sarah. The bedroom carpets were never replaced. Instead, the apartment was delivered completely filthy and in the exact same neglected state as when I first viewed it. the appliances in the unit are severely neglected and broken and need replacement. The kickplate at the bottom of the dishwasher was broken and poorly masked with a large piece of red tape. It completely fell apart upon inspection and requires full replacement. Stove and oven was heavily rusted, caked in thick, old grease, and still contained dirty aluminum foil left behind by the previous tenant. The paint was peeling off the range hood from age and severe grease buildup, posing a fire and another health hazard. I noticed a thick, unsanitary buildup of dust and filth along the sides of the refrigerator. Furthermore, the unit had a cracked toilet seat covered in urine, a broken front door sweeper, broken thermostat, severe mirror rot, and cracked, lifting bathroom flooring. Most alarming of all, there was severe black water damage and suspected mold under the kitchen sink, a major health hazard for my kids. The place seemed as if it had not been cleaned in years!!! When I pointed these out, Dakota dismissed these health and safety issues as "cosmetic or minor maintenance matters." I even offered my own time to clean the unit a day early, but they refused to give me the keys for "liability purposes," yet expected my family to move into a filthy construction zone and live out of boxes until they could finally schedule carpet installers days later. Management showed zero empathy, never apologized, and tried to push me to sign the inspection sheet just to get the keys. Fortunately, I stood my ground, refused to sign, and immediately contacted the MHA, who backed me up completely to cancel the contract. Please beware of Marshall & Co. They misrepresented the property, lied about updates, and tried to force a family into a sub standard, unsafe apartment!

Because of Dave I will absolutely be back and will be recommending this dealership. I bought a certified pre-owned Honda in February and was NOT informed about the presence of the SWAT system or associated cost ($1000 for 3 years). I happened to catch it on the papers while signing, and was not only caught off guard but questioned when I said I did not want it (I'm a student and was already pushing my limited budget, which I had already told them). I was exhausted from being there for several hours trying to navigate loan applications, hungry, caught off guard and didn't have the energy to fight for myself, so I sheepishly signed the papers and left. The next day, feeling taken advantage of, I contacted the team I worked with, and was told that I would received a check for $1,000 for the SWAT system I did not want. I continued to follow up, each time being told that, "the business office was still processing it." Finally, my point of contact stopped replying/answering. Since I don't live in the area, my mom followed up in person, nearly 2 months later. Dave met her, and informed her that the dealership is now under new ownership, and that the promise for a $1,000 refund was something the team could not possibly have done (it was an empty promise). Despite it being "impossible," and being unable to fulfill that promise, Dave did everything in his power to remedy the situation, eventually working something out with us that felt good. So, thank you Dave, for going above and beyond to try to remedy a problem that wasn't yours. Eternally grateful! Will definitely be back because of you.

Taking advantage of a 80 year old woman-- Marin Honda. Shame on you. Never go to this dealership!…read more True story, my mom took her car there for repairs. They charged her $275 for a full diagnostic but did not perform the diagnostic. Instead the mechanic admitted he just took a quick look at the car and guessed at the issue. Not even mentioning they wanted to charge her $2,200 for the repairs without the full diagnostic codes to back it up. Towing the car to a mechanic who will fix the car for $500. Highly do not recommend this dealership for service nor anything. I will take them to small claims court and report them for taking advantage of an octogenarian. (Which is a crime in California) Criminal behavior to charge for service not performed. Period. Note: the business owner responded that the diagnostic was performed. However, the service advisor admitted that it was not fully performed. And, recommending 2,200 in repairs without the proper codes is ridiculous. Marin Honda is committing elder financial abuse. To whit, the service manager ripped the car release from her hands, which is technically assault. She was physically frightened by the experience. P.s. she offered to pay for the visual inspection only, but this dealer chose greed, instead.
