Not once did they explain that the rooftop unit also needs a filter -- or that I had options depending on the system's static pressure and setup. That's basic info any professional should offer. What's worse, when I had a second opinion done by a trusted HVAC tech, he found a large tear in the ductwork -- something that likely had been there for years. This company had been called out before to check that very issue, and they failed to catch it. Why? Because they never performed a proper static pressure test or thorough inspection. They just show up, do the bare minimum, and leave -- but still charge full price every time. And in commercial service, they know most people won't question it. This kind of neglect doesn't just waste money -- it shortens your system's lifespan and increases your long-term repair costs. Be careful. Ask the hard questions. I had DeHart plumbing give me 3 estimates to fix a water main leak. They ranged from $13,000 up to…read more$25,000. They assumed I had all galvanized pipe under the driveway to the water meter and would have to cut and remove parts of my driveway. I decided to contact a competitor to get an estimate. The first thing they did was to open the meter box and discovered I have schedule 80 pvc and not galvanized. My new estimate is $1,400. I personally feel like DeHart was definitely trying to take advantage of me for being a senior. Be cautious everyone. Today, Perez confirmed the switch could be defective. I agreed to have a new switch installed as the unit is several years old and electronic/electrical components wear out. $385.00 total. Came out for inspection and identified the problem and fixed it with no issues. Had them perform a maintenance to make sure everything else was running smooth and to also check our heater issue, so we will be good for the winter. Repairs cost less than the portable AC I was considering buying and done in a timely manner. So nice to be home in a cool house! Great communication, letting me know all the issues and the cost up front for approval to move forward. Highly recommend!

When I called, I was treated very nicely on the phone and was able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. Diagostic appointments are $89 during the week and $149 on Saturday. Our technician, Wes, was very professional, on time and easy to talk to. He came out and checked the unit (we needed a different fuse) and turned the unit on and got it running. I was very happy with the service from the ladies in the office to Wes our technician. Just a heads up, they have a monthly maintenance plan ($12.95 a month) that they will try and sell you. It includes an annual check of your A/C unit and of your heater. Any additional work or service calls are then 20% off. Just an FYI, if it is a good deal for you, then I would suggest getting it, if not, they will still service you. Thank you Honey's for making our experience a Sweet One!
