There was no unnecessary back and forth or pressure, just an honest and professional transaction. Going into it, I honestly wasn't sure what the truck was worth. After spending time researching the market and comparing similar trucks, I realized it was priced very fairly. It was a 2023 dump truck with only about 40,000 miles, and it ended up being a great value. Like we do with every vehicle we purchase, I had my independent mechanic inspect it from top to bottom. The only things we did were our standard maintenance items: an oil and filter change, spark plugs, and a coolant flush. Those are things we do on every vehicle we buy anyway. Other than that, the truck checked out great, and there weren't any unexpected repairs waiting for us. To me, that really speaks volumes about the way they do business. There's a reason they've been around for so long and have earned so many positive reviews. They represented the truck honestly, had everything ready when I arrived, and respected my time. Fast forward a few months, the engine starts knocking. More money gone. Another while later, my headlights start fading in and out. A mechanic takes a look and realizes the battery they so generously gave me was a rebuilt battery that wasn't even the right size for the car. More money gone. That did not answer my question at all. Asking whether a used vehicle comes with any warranty is a completely reasonable question, especially before spending thousands of dollars. I had already seen several negative reviews about Car Sho, which is actually why I decided to call and get information directly from them before judging the business. Unfortunately, after that phone call, I can understand why some customers have complained. I also noticed that some of their vehicles appear to be priced higher than KBB values. When a vehicle is priced above market value, I would expect the dealership to be even more transparent about the condition, warranty, fees, and what exactly the customer is getting for the price. Based on the way I was treated over the phone, I did not feel comfortable doing business with Car Sho. A potential customer should be able to ask basic questions without being talked down to or made to feel like they are wasting someone's time. I'll be looking somewhere else. I recommend anyone considering buying from Car Sho do their research, compare the vehicle price with KBB, ask for all warranty and dealer fees in writing, and have the vehicle independently inspected before purchasing.
