A few days ago someone named 'Murray A' reviewed this cleaning service in the most mysterious way. This reviewer's submission caught my eye because of the low score (2 stars) - Trying to unravel the sentences used to describe their experience was like playing a round of Wheel of Fortune on crack. There was something about a vacuum and some equipment, and rambling about professionals - and ended with 'sparkling to me'.. Maybe this reviewer is a creative genius who has enlightened us with a poem - and I'm merely an uncultured simpleton. (It's probably the latter) When I finished reading this review i truly thought I had just read a transcript of someone's bad cel phone reception presented as evidence in a murder trial. But nonetheless I was completely on the fence about this company until I read Murray A's review.. We had put off cleaning our two-bedroom (plus an office) condo for close to a year for various reasons (having a kid will do that to you), but with some guests coming in from out of town to spent a weekend, we finally had to give it a deep cleaning. We'd used West Coast Maids before and knew they'd be reliable, but didn't expect just how thorough they were. From top to bottom, the place looked ready for an open house. The windows and mirrors were as clean as I had ever seen them, the floors spotless, and they found ways to organize some of our belongings that saved us a ton of space. Not only were they thorough, but they did in the time they promised, and at their quoted price. (I expected some add-ons with what we gave them to work with, and I wouldn't even have minded, but they surprised me.) The staff was courteous and very accommodating. (We asked if they could do a balcony at the last-minute, and they said no problem.) I have used West Coast maids twice and always been so happy with them. Their prices are great with the work they do. The first time I called them I had been gone for over a week out of town for work and my family destroyed the house. They came in cleaned every room did the dishes folded and put away laundry and everything smelled fresh when I came home. The second time I used them was another time my house got out of control and I was too sick to clean up. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was clean and sanatized. Every corner was clean not one dust bunny left behind. I recommend them to everyone I know and will definitely be using them more often. They are easy and fast to schedule a cleaning. Amazed with how clean the house is! Thorough cleaning, lovely, and smells and looks fantastic!! I needed someone to come clean with little notice, and they came through for us impressively. Communication with the main office was great, and Maria, our maid, was wonderful. The bathroom never looked this good before. Our maid did a really great job. She spent four hours on our 1800 sq foot home that we keep well picked up. Everything just needed a spring cleaning scrub down and that's what she did. She cleaned the inside of the microwave to the inside of the shower. Almost a month later and things still feel so much cleaner. They scheduled the maid to show up within a three hour window; she showed up within the window without issue. They offer a flat discounted rate if you want the maid to come monthly or bimonthly. As with all maids, I suggest deciding on the "start" and "end" time together so there isn't any confusion there (when paying hourly). My house needed a major spring cleaning and I was thinking of buckling down and doing it myself. I have a very full three bed, 2 bath house and after got started I soon realized it was going to be a lot of hard work, so I decided to treat myself and my house to a professional cleaning, which I have never done before. I was not sure where to go so I asked my fussy neighbor who she uses and I got turned on to West Coast. I gave them a call and they showed up the next day within the time frame promised. I have ceramics and breakables galore displayed on shelves, which makes it very hard to clean in here. (No, I am not a hoarder...!) Well, after 3 hours they were done, and the house looked amazing. The collectibles were shiny bright and the kitchen was squeaky clean. Bathrooms smelled great. Mirrors were gleaming. Stairs had been vacuumed like never before. Clean, clean, clean. I don't think they missed anything! They were both sweet ladies and they did a thoroughly efficient job and I was very happy. Nothing was broken, which is a feat. I have used cleaning places to come into my home to clean, ie Molly Maids, Suzies, etc. Well, someone recommended this cleaning service for me and I was really amazed when they arrived, because they were prompt and ready to go when they cameto my home. I gave certain instructions to them, because I am very picky when anyone is in my home and I was pleased, because I did not have to repeat myself to them. They follow instructions and clean up very good. I am a Military Veteran of over 20 yrs, but I still know what it looks like to do a good cleaning job, which they did. I recently hired West Coast maids to assist me with an apartment clean up that was much to large of a job to handle for myself. They came in and did a professional job in a pinch with every area spotless. I thought the price was great considering my deposit was worth every penny of investing in their service. It passed the white glove test even!
