The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. There were so many dumplings in the order that I couldn't finish them, and I took them, cold, to my teenager, and she thought they were fantastic. Further, they let me stay in their restaurant and finish a work project. I took up a seat and they were nothing but accommodating to me. Streamed ones have a slight chew to the dumpling exterior than the boiled or fried dumplings.But doesn't take away from the taste. Pan fried is good when you want a crispier exterior and slight crunch. Whatever way you order 'em... it's all good! The egg custards, sesame balls, and crab rangoons are classic and my other go tos. I enjoy the diversity of the menu. Gotta confess, in Folsom there is not a lot of these good authentic dumpling places. Plus throw in some dim sum items...score! Is it Michelin star, no. It is homemade and comforting, yes! The place is clean, comfortable, and has basic furnishings and decor. There is no music or TV. The owner works most of the shifts.
