I engaged this company based on observing their work locally and the comments of a neighbor that used them. Mike (crew foreman) gave me a timely estimate to extensively prune an Oak Tree that had been damaged by Southern California Edison's easement maintenance vendor. Mike's crew was able to move up our scheduled date (as he said he might). They surveyed the work before beginning. They consulted with me before beginning, and did another consultation about 1/2 way through the pruning process to make sure things were progressing per our plan. Mike's crew took great pains to ensure no lawn damage occurred by lowering the heavier limbs by rope and pulley. They removed the heavier limbs first, followed by the lighter limbs, all of which they hand carried to the tree-chipper in front of my house. The crew consisted of 5 men (including Mike) who worked diligently and cohesively to get the job done in one day. After the pruning, the crew used rakes and lawn blowers to eliminate all of the wood chips from my lawn, the street, and sidewalk in front of the house. Their housekeeping is immaculate. Mike's crew were appropriately dressed and obviously had safety foremost in mind. They treated my wife with respect, and also did a couple of favors on ancillary trees for her. The service bill was exactly what we discussed. I can only give Mike and his crew the highest rating possible for their work and efficiency. read more

Joe Christman responded to my request for a quote to remove a fallen tree very quickly. He came to my home and assessed the fallen tree and gave a quote as well as a quote to trim another tree and a quote for a yard clean up (since my yard was very overgrown) with a promise to complete the work the next day. He gave his personal promise that I would be very happy with the outcome. I agreed to have the work done and am more than happy with the outcome!! After a little bit of a scheduling snafu, Joe was quick to come over and re-assess my job with his crew at hand. He offered professional advise regarding my tree, a beautiful but messy jacaranda. Initially I just wanted it out, but after talking it through I just had to have it trimmed down. I'd also been working on a giant hedge myself for about a week and Joe quickly worked that into the estimate. He gave me a fair price. I must say that I was really impressed with his crew. Juan and Merced were amazing! I can't say enough good things about about these two gentlemen! They worked very hard all day in the heat on my yard without complaint and remained open to suggestions about a branch or two. My hedge was reduced to a manageable size and tree looked brand new. The sweetest thing was that I asked if they could keep the dove nest that was perched in between some branches. I thought it was a goner but when I got home the nest was still there!
