Great local spot! When I want good home style breakfast I always choose the West End Grill. Simply perfection every single time. Love that you can call ahead and pick up as well, since sometimes life is on the go! Lunch is great too, and Friday nights are made for dinner. Best cheese rolls and you can even get them stuffed. Such friendly table service. They remember all of their regulars by name, it's nice, not many places will treat their customers like family. During the pandemic this was a go to as their walk up window was convenient.

My girls' cheeseburgers and grilled cheese sandwich were fine; my wife and I had tuna melts which were meaty, light on the mayo, and crisply toasted. Service was also friendly and welcoming. All-in-all, a no-frills diner with satisfying food. Nothing that would wow you, but also nothing that would disappoint either.

I ordered the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. It was mostly noodles minimal broccoli and almost no chicken. Absolutely no flavor. I had to add garlic salt, pepper and cheese for it to taste ok. Will never order from here again.

Poor thing, I went and grabbed our menus & wrote down what we wanted to help her out. Not her fault, but really? Why not have enough staff to cover in situations like this? The food is always good, so I will be returning- although if this happens again I don't think I will!

This spot has been a go to for family breakfast dates for years. The service is phenomenal, the ladies that work here are so friendly! The prices are unmatched for the quality of food- that comes out super fast, hot and fresh! As someone who's on a late night work schedule, it's nice to get out of work and be able to have dinner foods early in the morning! read more

I order grilled chicken sandwich and vegetables . OMG the sandwich supposed to come with lettuce and tomato nothing. The veggies they made a " soup " like baby food with God knows what and they called that veggies. Never again. No thank you read more

The last time I went there I decided to switch it up and order the Shepards pie and it was something I regret. Who knows how old it was, when was it freshly made because when it was served to me the played was extremely hot which is usually a bad sign and when I took a bite it confirmed what I suspected from the hot plate. It must have been microwaved because it was like refrigerated cold in the middle just the outer portion had any warmth to it. If I wanted to eat microwaved food I could just do that at home. I ended up not eating since now I didn't trust the place and sat there watching my wife eat her burger. They didn't even have a manager talk to me. I don't think I'll be back there read more

Great breakfast at a good price. Parking is limited and the exit from the lot is tough with a 25' truck so if you have a big vehicle, park on the street. The staff is excellent here and the food comes to your table quickly. read more

Service was terrific and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. Home fries had a canned taste. Omelette was flat and a bit rubbery with what seemed like just a teaspoon of the ground Portuguese sausage. Coffee was good and they kept it warm. read more

Don't drive by this place! It's easy to miss, but underneath a simple exterior lies a gem of a restaurant. Fantastic food at a ridiculously affordable price is a combination that you won't find many places in 2019. Excellent service and a Mom&Pop feel make this a must visit. read more

This is my kids and I's go to spot on Friday mornings. We missed a few weeks during the recent pandemic, but as soon as they opened up again, Maria was right there at their take-out window with a smile. The food is great, the price is even better and what makes this place special is the cozy at home feeling you get immediately upon walking in. This place not only has good food, but is the definition of community. I will continue coming here weekly as long as my schedule allows, and when it doesn't I'll fit it somewhere else into our schedule. Honestly a place I see my self coming to years down the road when my kids and some day grandkids come down to visit. I hope they stay open for years to come. read more

We love the west end grill.It isn't a fancy place, but the food is good and the staff is friendly. You quickly become part of the family. The menu has so many choices, and they accommodate any special requests. You also won't be "breaking the bank"when you get the bill.I recommend it. West end Grill!!!! I have to say they have the Best burgers in Newbedford!!!! soooo delicious!! They already know what I want, when I stop by for lunch,,, They call me the burger man!!! Excellent food, service, and clean homey atmosphere. I'm a lineman in the area. The guys and I go here all the time. We love this place. They know all of us by name. We go out every morning. This place is ALWAYS a first choice. Try the Hamburger vegetable soup! read more

5 Stars. My number one breakfast place. Ask for Al's open face breakfast sandwich " with egg, sausage patty, cheese, tomato, & onion on a cheese roll" Awesome breakfast sandwich that will definitely satisfy the big breakfast eater. ENJOY read more
