Today a swung by one of my two preferred LUV locations on Topanga Canyon Blvd and got the kind of service, attention and care that urged me to give praise to a few solid employees at this location. Today Mr. Alonso was helping at the entrance, and the kind of warmth and enthusiasm that he greeted me with, made me reflect on how every time I see this guy at work, he's putting in 100% focus, effort and care. He started helping cars drive into the washer correctly, and I was always impressed with how seriously he took he job. It contrasted the times I've seen some people in the past let their eyes stray elsewhere during the process, and it makes themselves seems less attentive. Alonso was 100% attentive today and always. I think Alonso is the kind of employee that really ought to be compensated more than fairly, but rather handsomely. Alonso mirrors his coworker Pablo, and they should be paid well to keep them happy and less susceptible to getting poached by local business owners looking to staff up with the best staff possible. I really appreciate Alonso and Pablo, because they've been around for so long and always giving it their all, but really I can also say much of the same about Joaquin, Juan jr and Dash. I don't see them as often but when I do I see a very high level of commitment and professionalism. They all really seem committed to their jobs, and it says a lot about the company. I can't imagine staff working so diligently for an employer that isn't compensating them competitively. And I think whoever does the staffing for LUV Topanga Cyn Blvd. and Reseda Blvd. locations needs a raise as well. They really know what they're doing. Yes, I am a very happy LUV Car wash subscriber, and I am a very satisfied customer: washer usually washes everything rarely misses, vacuums are strong, and blowers are equally powerful. The only reason I go here is for the convenience. Be prepared to have to hand wash your car at the vacuums because the actual car wash doesn't remove any dirt or scum off your car. It's only good if your car doesn't have any dirt on it to begin with and you just want a basic rinse. I was hand scrubbing my windshield and the entire body of my car myself afterwards. The car wash doesn't do anything for a dirty car. I wish they'd update their equipment for more quality work. I'd go elsewhere if you want quality and an actual car wash that is effective. Perfect place to go if you enjoy both washing and drying your car yourself in their parking lot after the service you paid for. The car wash hardly gets any dirt off, and leaves your car looking worse because it's streaky from a few of the bristles touching. Also very expensive! The car body was adequately cleaned, but even with the top level wash, the wheels were NOT cleaned adequately, even though they tout a 2x wheel cleaning. The air gun was not the best and they were out of towels. I paid for my membership while in line waiting to run my car through the wash and was not informed that there is no refund on the membership, so I paid $30 for a lousy car wash. I could have gone to a full-service wash for that price. I have a whole month left on this membership that I will not be using, so it was a waste of money. If you really want to try them, pay ONCE before you commit to a membership. I wouldn't recommend it at all otherwise. read more

Got the 11.99 wash. Didn't get my car clean. Normal amount of dirt after a week of not washing. So I informed the guy at the desk in the office that my car didn't come clean - still had bird poop on the hood. He literally says "how much did you pay?" (While scratching I replied, "11.99" He says "well with that one it might not get clean, you have to get the more expensive wash." I said "I go to a lot of car washes 10-12 bucks usually gets my car clean." He said "well that's why we provide memberships." I said "well I probably won't get one if the wash isn't getting my car clean. D for service. 2 stars because after the exchange he let me rewash my car again. I love this place my only gripe is that they always have Line where people are spilling out onto Topanga. They also seem to take people without memberships first which I don't understand. Didn't wash anything on the back of my car. So much dirt still back there. Didn't dry my windows or side mirrors, so they have tons of water spots. In general, did a very poor job of drying the car. Also didn't get rid of any of the spots on my car. My car honestly might have been cleaner prior to the car wash. Will never go back. This is a self-service drive through car wash. There are 3 options to choose from, and they offer memberships for unlimited car washes. The carwash itself is great, but it feels a bit rushed - especially when going through the dryer. The also have an area where you can wipe down you car (bring your own rags!) and vacuum. It's a great option when you're in a hurry and need a quick wash, but it's definitely not thorough and you will 100% have water spots all over your car unless you wipe it down after. read more

Bad customer service, I went to wash my car at night and at the entrance the gate did not open there were two employees who apparently were on their cell phones and did not realize the problem I had, I had to honk for help, they came over An employee with a bad attitude told me not to do that honking thing. His name is Jose, bad attitude, he yelled at me, not friendly at all. Afterwards, the other employee didn't even guide me properly to enter the car wash until I hit my tire and damaged my rim as well. 1) This car wash has never been fully operational since I have been a customer There is always one or two brushes broken. I asked the employees when will they fix those brushes and their response is: The owner knows but maybe he doesn't care. I will cancel after this month because the owner is just collect the money from my bank account and he ia not providing the service I'm paying for. 2) It is a nightmare every accessing the facilities. They have a setup for 3 lanes but they only use two and the cars line up for a block or longer on Topanga Canyon because the employees don't assist customers directing a traffic into the facilities. Instead they are on their phones and the caos is out on the street. That is an accident to happen situation. They need to raise the standard and provide a top of the line customer service and car wash service. read more

I'm really getting sick of this place. The guys who are supposed to help you when you enter the tunnel are a bunch of idiots. None of them do their job right. Why are they there. This business is the worse car wash I've been too. They raise their prices and service has gone down hill. My rims are ruined because the idiot guys who are supposed to help guide you in do nothing but act entitled like you owe them something. Get better workers!!! I went here half way through a long trip to get the road trip dirt off my car. I paid for the lotta luv wash to make sure it would come out nice. Wow what a disappointment. The sides and the back of my Highlander were still very dirty. Dirty Streak marks from where the rotating rag brushed sort of touched my car. (one of the rotating rag brushes on the drivers side wasn't really moving). What a waste of 17.00. I would have gone back normally but as I mentioned I was on a long trip. I had a question about updating my membership because when I got to the front it said my card information needed to update so the employee called his supervisor . She was a Hispanic female and as soon as she heard I wanted to ask a question she rolled her eyes in disgust . They are taking my issue seriously and are doing everything they can to figure out how to fix it and why it happened. The car wash is closed, but I am being helped nonetheless. I love this car wash. Service can be extremely slow. Multiple times the customer in front of me had to get out of the car and talk to someone, which leaves me and cars behind me stuck.
