I went in and explained my lack of knowledge and the staff was extremely helpful. They walked me through what pole would be best, what setups to get for specific fish, and what bait to use. They were extremely friendly and never tried to upsell me unnecessarily. I came back the next morning at 5am to get bait and again the service was excellent. 10/10 recommend this place for all fishing needs!

It was a…read morevery straightforward set up - check in and get your life vests, take their shuttle bus to the starting point on the river, get whatever style tube you paid for (we chose tubes with backrests and one cooler tube), and get out on the water! We slowly floated down the river, listened to music on our small portable speaker, swam around, made a short stop along a rocky bank at the edge of the water, and got to the end point after just over 3 hours. We got the shuttle bus back to the Twin Rivers office to drop off the life vests, then went back to our car in the parking deck right across the street. Very simple, and lots of fun!

We spoke with her for a bit and since we weren't really ready to buy a stick on site she invited us to come to her shop (A Chic With Stix) for a fitting and to try out the vast assortment of sticks she had so my daughter could find the right fit. My wife and daughter, and one of my daughter's teammates and her Mom, took the trip down to Fair Haven to check the place out. Kendra took a tremendous amount of time working with my daughter and her teammate to ensure that they got the right stick, a stick which felt right in their hands, a stick that was appropriate for their strength and swing and in all of the time she spent with them she didn't try to upsell them on more expensive sticks. My daughter ended up with a field hockey stick that she absolutely loves. We had such a great experience working with Kendra that we recently (two weeks ago) went back to buy my daugher a new indoor field hockey stick for the upcoming season and she once again took her time to help her find the perfect fit. As you can tell, I can't heap enough praise on A Chic With Stix as my daughter would never had gotten the kind of personal service she got here from a big chain store and we would have had to guess as to what stick to get her.
