So..... 2nd time something went missing from my car during a service call. Also, have issue with…read morethings not put back as they were. Took my car in for oil change, regular maintenance, etc. Tech had to replace the SD card and something that was behind the glove compartment. In the pocket where the SD card is I have/had a couple pens, a little notebook, couple papers, small lotion and lip gloss. In the arm rest I had my phone charger. Attached and kinda glued to the inside of the glove compartment was my trash bag. Tech removed the charger and it ended up on the passenger floor. The trash bag was torn/removed from the glove compartment and left like that. He removed everything from the SD card spot and put everything back except the lip gloss, which is nowhere to be found. So this is the 2nd time an item went missing from my car during a service call. A big gripe: why don't they put things back the way they were after pulling things apart? It's not hard to put the charger back where it was, put the trash bag back on the glove compartment door like it was, and put everything back in the SD card spot. Why do they pull things apart and just leave them like that? Again, it's not the missing lip gloss (which was new and I paid $6 for) which is the main reason for this post - it's the principle. Once more, an item is missing from my car. Thought I would be a customer for life, and indicated that to them, as they treated me great when I bought the vehicle in 2024. Apparently the techs, though, are different. Last year an item got stolen - yes, stolen. It wasn't "misplaced" or "it just disappeared" as they indicated. "Misplaced" means it's somewhere" to be found. And nothing just "disappears" without it being taken. And this year another item isn't able to be found. I'm sure the tech had no use for lip gloss and I'm not saying he took it, but where did it go? Searched the car - every crack and crevice - and it's not there. $6 is a ridiculous price to pay for lip gloss anyway, but such is the economy today, so having to spend another $6 to replace it is just aggravating. Plus, whatever was done to fix that SD card issue wasn't fixed. So now I have to take it back again to hopefully get it fixed. Don't they test this stuff to make sure it's actually fixed???

I start calling to get an appointment.first the dealership I bought my car. Three weeks. Second , i won't mention but the guy in on the phone, and I quote, " you're a funny guy"!! Really? That's how you treat your customers? Guess who the funny guy is? And I'll never recommend your place, ever!! The third wielands on transit near Clinton. The voice on the phone was extremely pleasant and said the best she could do was Monday at 12:30 I said ok. She said if you can come in early sometimes we can get you right away. Monday came. I did as she said. Was welcomed by a very pleasant man. Told where to pull my car. I got out and soon , like 5 mins my car was getting inspected. The mechanics were pleasant and didn't try to upsale anything and just did the inspect . It passed and I was out before my 12:30 time. I paid and I would be recommending their business. So if you want to be treated like a moron, go anyplace but Wielands. Because here you're gonna be treated with respect and know that you vehicle is going to be treated with utmost care. West Herr is right around the corner from my house so I've been coming here for those and oil changes. I want to say service continues to be top notch! I couldn't imagine myself going anywhere else for service! Today in particular, the service area opened at 7:30am and they had me come in at 7:50 (as soon as we spoke!). A shuttle just happened to pull up as I dropped off my car and i immediately got a ride home from a very nice man. My car was done 2 hours later (found leak and patched it and also gave me an oil change). The shuttle came to get me right away! I want to say my service advisor Jessica was awesome and I'd love to work with her any-day. And that goes for everyone I came in contact with. Repairs are so much less stressful with service like this and I'm so glad I started working with a dealership for my repair and service needs ... 180 degree difference from going to a shop and in the best way.

(shift change, lift didn't work, vacation) I arranged my schedule to be able to take my truck to them , they made the appointments ,but each time there was a problem. they were extremely rude ,and they showed no remorse , they didn't apologize , they simply didn't care . i have purchased many trucks and cars from west Herr in the past , but that is the end of that . I wasted 3 days to be able to take my truck there , with no results . my advice is to stay away from this dealer . extremely disappointed.

I never did get an email verification. They took me right away though! Oil change and NYS inspection. I was out of there in less than an hour even though their lot was full with cars. I even expected to hear that I would need brakes, but I passed the inspection with no issues. Good to hear since I'm driving to Rochester tomorrow. They were friendly and professional as well as efficient! I will be back!

I initially tried them on a whim when my car needed some TLC to its bumper. Andy has always been kind, helpful, and honest. I have always received quality service even if all I'm doing is stopping by to ask a question. I've never had a condescending or rude interaction here. I'm pleased that they explain everything thoroughly and answer all my questions. I find the prices to be reasonable and the timeline for services is reasonable as well. It's certainly a small, family business. It's not a large corporate place with frills and amenities. They get the job done and get it done well. It's all I've ever needed.

You can certainly call their phone but I opted to use their electronic communication options. Online scheduling was easy via their website. Received a follow up text to confirm the appointment and received drop off instructions. There is certainly a person answering the texts, which was nice. Diagnosing the problem didn't take very long; maybe a couple of hours after I dropped it off. I was sent a link to view the findings from the technician, complete with important photos, and recommendations. I received a second link that was used to verify which repairs I would like performed, and their costs. At that point, I either agree or disagree to the individual parts and labors that were recommended. I Signed the electronic agreement and moved on with my day. I Received another text when the van was complete. This was my first time visiting AmTon and I believe them to be running an honest and trustworthy business. I hope to not have to return under the same circumstances, but if I need to, they will be my first call.
