But my appointment was at 10am I got there at 9:45am and the receptionist claimed she didnt find my appointment i waited till 10:30 and she said she found my appointment in the system. I had been a customer of this office for 10+ years. They have gone down hill. You can't ever get anyone to answer the phones at the office. I have been trying to get a copy of a receipt for insurance for over a month with no luck. I've been told my the call center that they would call me back never did. I was double charged for a service and was told they would get me an answer and never did. They are the absolute worst. I have been a patient here since 2007. Since then, I have seen a lot of personnel come and go. I personally have had a LOT of work done. A dentist that is no longer here actually didn't do a crown of mine well, so it has been RE-done twice now. It was very frustrating. The office personnel I feel still needs improvement. They try and be friendly, but when you get to chatting with them about an issue, all the fake smiles disappear. On a few occasions, I have had an appointment scheduled for months in advance, and then when they call and confirm the appointment, they change the TIME on you. So when they call and confirm, listen to the time VERY carefully. I missed one appointment because of this (they had changed it an hour earlier) and I caught the other two changes. One time, I had asked one of the girls to have the office manager call me about an issue and I never received the call for whatever reason. One good thing they offer here is "whitening for life", so you get whitening trays done and free whitening gels as long as you keep up your maintenance appointments. :D And the BEST thing they have here is REEM! She is a hygienist. I will continue to go here as long as she is here. Best cleanings I have ever had. She's so thorough but cares if she causes you any discomfort. She's personable and remembers you. She doesn't make you feel like a number. She's super friendly and smiles and just a wonderful person. Takes the time to give you suggestions on better oral hygiene. She really takes care of my mouth! When I first came here, I had one Dentist for a while. When he left, I was never notified. . . just at the next visit, some new Dentist saw me. Then on the NEXT visit, she was gone and another Dentist saw me. This was all like 3 months apart. I would think they would have let me know my "Dentist" was leaving the practice, but I guess it doesn't work that way. Not that I would follow him anyway since he didn't do my crowns very well. (His name is still on the plaque just outside the door though, I saw it today.) I currently am seeing Dr. Ouch (Yep! I have been a customer at West Spring Dentist for 10 years. The first 6/7 years were great. The last 3/4 years HORRIBLE! The staff changes every six months, they closed the office for a funeral and never called me to and I took time off work only to arrive and find doors locked and no one there. I get two cleanings a years that my insurance covers and they constantly bill me after my insurance paid. So sad that this has happened. I am looking for another dentist. read more

I walked into a welcoming environment. The receptionist was very friendly and made sure any and all of my concerns were heard. The X-ray was quick and painless. I didn't know they had a X-ray gun to make things go by even faster. The dentist came in and did a very detailed inspection of my teeth with pictures to show how every tooth looked. The hygienist then came in after and gave a full inspection of my gums. Both the dentist and hygienist were very respectful and addressed concerns. I originally went in for a cleaning and examination. The receptionist knew that I was going to need the extra time so all of my concerns would be addressed. They even had time to go over all of my options with me to see what I wanted to do today and a actionable plan for later dates. Ultimately I decided to get 3 of my wisdom teeth removed (they removed them in house and I only paid $270 when castle would have charged me $3000 to get all 4 done) ((not to mention painless)) instead of my cleaning that I will complete two weeks later. This team displayed flexibility, friendliness, and utmost professionalism! I am so happy I left castle dental to come here! read more

This was my first visit to west spring dental. The facility looks nice and is a stand alone clinic. I have been hesitant to visit the strip mall dental clinics so it was nice to walk into this facility. I have tried several dentist in Houston and Dr. K is amazing. I feel she is honest, straight forward and does a quality dental work. I live far away but the drive is worth it. I just came from an appt. w/Dr Godwin and her dental assistant, Joy. I am so very happy & pleased w/ the treatment I have received. After suffering w/ill fitting denture I was very discouraged but Dr. Godwin saw the problem & corrected it and I actually have a Perfect fit. Dr. Godwin is by far the absolute best I have been blessed to know. The entire staff, from the front office to the level of dentistry performed in the back, is so above the normal level of care it's perfect. The staff is warm & friendly. They greet you as if you're family. They are easy to book appts., accommodating & flexible. Take your calls when you need to speak w/ someone. Thoroughly professional. I have been a patient of Dr Ouch (pronounced Ooch) and I really do like her level of work, communication and overall mannerism. I also like the front desk personnel...I never have a problem getting an appointment or have a long wait time or any of those types of issues. I think the office may still be in the process of finding the right assistants and hygienist but they'll get it together, they already have the "foundation" in place. I have going to this dentist office for years. They have continually gone downhill over the years. Very high turnover of staff and dentists. Once COVID hit, they closed the office and didn't notify patients, and when you tried to call, the number was forwarded to an office in Cypress, no explanations. They recently re-opened and once again, didn't notify patients that they were back open. PLUS, they changed what insurance they now take. Two thumbs down. I'm finding another dentist. read more

Completely dishonest!!! My husband and I both had scaling procedures done recently, only to discover that we were given and "upgraded" laser treatment at $88 PER TOOTH that is NOT covered by insurance. We were NEVER informed that the laser treatments were not covered by insurance, nor were we informed that it's strictly elective. Their dishonesty cost us an additional $352! Not only that, my insurance company called them and was informed by the office that they charge patients their deductibles EACH SERVICE and only issue refunds after they've been paid by the insurance companies. Oh and not to mention that they have TWICE tried to force me to pay them for a deductible that I already paid!!!! read more

We used to go to this office years ago and especially my husband really loved it. In between we went elsewhere due to insurance coverage. Now we went back here and one of my kids that has never had any cavities suddenly needed 4 double fillings which almost cost me house payment. Last night my husband went for a cleaning and suddenly he needs 2 crowns and a deep cleaning. They poked his gums so much that he got tears in his eyes and then they said he had periodontal disease, because the gums were bleeding. Yes, of course they will bleed if repeatedly poked with a sharp object. My husband has none of the common symptoms of this disease, accept the bleeding.... We are getting the impression that this office must have changed ownership and all they care about is selling their services and not helping patience with real needs, as we have experienced with a few dentists in Texas. The treatment plan was very nicely presented in a folder with a great sales pitch.... and they followed up today to schedule all the appointments for the treatment. We are not going back here for the time being. read more

This was my first visit to Spring dental, and honestly, it has been the best doctors visit I have ever had. The staff was very friendly, knowledgable, and made me feel comfortable. I only went in for a cleaning and check-up, but I had a couple of cavities too. The staff re-arranged their day to have the cavities filled, so I did not have to return the next week. Prices didnt seem too high, but we have insurance. Would definetly not go anywhere else in the future. read more

We visited this office for the first time today. My 8 year old needed 2 extractions, and the staff was AMAZING! They treated her so well, she felt so comfortable, and allowed them to do their work with no issues (the nitrous helped with that ). Was a great place. Front desk turn over was a disappointment. The last woman was amazing. Her replacement is awful. She doesn't answer phone calls leaves you on hold, says you will be on a waiting list and never actually adds your name. She is the worst to schedule an appointment with. She hangs up and is argumentative. The dentist is amazing, but you have to wait 10 months to see them, and jump through hoops. Sadly the lady at the front is causing us to look elsewhere for care. read more

My Husband and I went here for a "CLEANING". He is 74 yrs old and on S.S. Our total bill was " $1713" Seriously!!! I feel that we were taken advantage of!!! Too many X-rays. 'Fluoride" really at our age!!! Unfortunately I was not with him when he had his appointment. He had FOUR "Laser Treatments" at $88 each !! We have both had Dental Care every 6 months most of our lives and had to change our Dentist because of insurance. This was my first visit,I had downloaded their forms, filled in the information I even had a copy of my Ins.card, I was the only one in the waiting room and I sat for 45 minutes before being called back.The 'only' charge discussed with me was about a 'Mouthwash' which I declined. It was quite a while ago that I saw Dr. Ouch. The hygienist was unbelievably rough. I've never had a cleaning that painful. Then I was told I had three cavities that required fillings. I found that odd because i had no indications i had any, I'm 40, and have never had a cavity before. I chose not to get the work done and wait. Just today I visited a different local dentist. After the exam he informed me I had no cavities. I was puzzled and asked how that could be if a previous visit to another dentist indicated I had three. His answer.... the other dentist is a con artist and that you should always get a second opinion if something sounds odd. So there you have it. I'm still a little dumbstruck that there is this level of corruption and dishonesty in this industry. I'm especially angered about Dr Ouch and her staff choosing to be a part of it read more

ok my last review said this place is great but be warned : they do not treat patients with dental phobia or PSTD very well! and sadly I have both in spades. my dental "hygienist was a dour looking woman in a pink smock and tied up blond hair she never gave me her name and only grunted when asked what her name was. she stabbed by my mouth three times drawing blood and many tears from me during the " cleaning" she only yelled at me and told me " stop complainingand stop being a baby " WTF? really? never again no matter how cheap or great they cleaning " deal" is im doing back to my regular guy at least his hygienists are humane and treat people with PTSD kindly. I had been coming here since 2011. For the first few years, I had Reem as my hygienist but she left. Everytime I went back was seen by a different hygienist! Not only that, but every time I had a procedure done, it was with a different doctor!! They also never offered me nitrous even AFTER they saw just how anxious I was, so far as to even hyperventilate! I just got bad news from the dentist but I still walked out feeling good. They were very nice and took such good care of me. I was there for an hour after closing and never felt like they were rushing me. It was my first time there and I would recommend them to any one.
