Tomato, fried eggplant mozzarella peppers with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. When my out of town relatives ate here they raved about the stack and had never seen it in any of their local restaurants and wondered why not?! We ordered veal piccata and pasta mare monti. Excellent dishes that we will certainly have again. The pasta had lobster, shrimp, clams and scallops all perfectly married to the pasta sauce. You won't be disappointed ordering this one. Service was spot on with busboy circling the dining room filling ice water and replacing silverware. The restaurant accommodates casual and fine dining clients. So you can set your own mood. Evening service atmosphere has dark and dim lighting and the AC will be on! Come with a reservation as this place gets packed all the time. Walkins still welcome but you could wait over 40mins in the cramped lobby that is not a waiting area. The food is undeniable so that keeps folks in the door. The portions are excellent and the price is upscale but due to the service because you can get a similar meal across the street for half the price. Their wine and spirits selection is great and this place has amazing staff who can walk you there the entire evening. First I am a Napoli fan. Great American dream story, great service and fantastic food that is highly consistent. I normally frequent the Clayton location or Sea. Last Saturday we tried 2 for the 2nd. Did not feel like the schlep to the city. The lobster spaghetti was delicious! Perfectly prepared lobster, piping hot, and the perfect sauce. My son's veal chop looked perfect and given he nearly inhaled it it must have been delicious too. Mrs enjoyed a seafood special pasta. That was amazing too. Another 5-star experience at Napoli 2. Atmosphere at this place is probably the best of all Napoli locations. The dining area is comfy and quiet and not too dark. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. After telling him how much I loved the special, he told me that I could always get it by requesting Linguini with their Basil Cream Sauce and asking them to add mushrooms, scallops and shrimp. Everything they do at this place is top notch. The martini's are perfect, ice cold and full to the top (I'm really amazed that our server was able to deliver it without spilling anything). We enjoyed the Caprese Lobster salad which was also a special. The lobster was fresh and well complimented the tasty tomato and balsamic vinegar. I've been hearing a lot of good things about this place so I decided to try it out on valentines day. The place was packed which wasn't a surprise. I think they added tables as well to accommodate because it seemed very tight and and they packed tables in. That's the icky thing I didn't like. Being too close to the next couple. Also made it difficult for servers to talk and place the food items down. Outside of that, the food was really good. Husband had the Tagliatelle Bolognese while I went for the Shrimp & Lobster Scampi and Asparagus . We really enjoyed our food. They have a great wine list and i deciduous to order Chardonnay. My boyfriend and I came here last night for Valentines' Day and to say we were pleased would be an understatement. For a holiday, you would think a place would be hectic but they were really organized and relaxed the entirety of our dinner service. Service was pleasant and very fast. We had no complaints and genuinely enjoyed everything Napoli 2 had to offer. I started with a Sauvignon Blanc and my date stuck to water. We ordered the crispy rice appetizer and of course... the famous arancini. I could rave about these dishes to anyone. Our main dishes were the shrimp and lobster scampi on angel hair noodles and the risotto with shrimp and lobster as well. Ugh, so good. We ended with tiramisu, of course. Waters were always full. This was an incredibly tasty Italian restaurant! I appreciated the unique taste and style that they had to offer. The service was kind and helpful when it came to ordering and I really liked the atmosphere of the place. We got the goat cheese salad and the arancini to begin. Both were super good. I am a sucker for a tasty arancini and this was it. Next the main dishes, first was a red pasta with shrimp and noodles. That was tasty but the red sauce was strong and there was much of it given. We had to dig to find the noodles. I got a split of the mushroom spinach ravioli and the smoked salmon pasta. The salmon pasta was great. Very Smokey and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The ravioli was good too a bit more on the sour side for me still good though! I loved that I was able to get to pastas in one dish that was a game changer suggestion from our waiter. I came to Napoli 2 with a large group as part of a company outing, and was totally impressed by the meal and experience! I started with a sampling of the toasted ravioli and calamari. Both were solid starters and when paired with the bread service, a great intro to the rest of the meal. For an entree, I chose the Alaskan halibut special and the beet salad. Neither disappointed! The beet salad was fresh, the beets were perfectly tender, and the topping of dressing and micro-greens was the perfect tough. My gosh was flaky, moist, and packed with flavor. I was obsessed with the lemon white wine sauce. The fish was served with crispy brussels sprouts. I didn't have a bad bite to eat all night. This is definitely an upscale setting, but it's still comfortable for visiting and laughing with friends. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the night. This was my best experience yet at Napoli II ever. From the start I felt the experience was going to be great when our server Alex introduced himself and gave us the off menu specials. We had the special pasta dish that was stuffed pumpkin shaped pasta with shrimp and scallops with a lightly spiced red sauce that was magnificent. The seafood was plentiful and prepared perfectly. I had the ribeye steak prepared medium and was the most moist and tender ribeye that I had eaten in years; I highly recommend. The side of spinach and Caesar salad was really good with the added bonus of anchovies as a Caesar salad should have instead of just dressing. The finale was the white mousse that was a killer it was so good. B I paired the meal with the red blend that was delicious. No day old wine here. It was a great experience. After having some incredible experiences at Napoli 3, we decided to check out Napoli 2 with out-of-town family. We were so thrilled that service and food were top notch at this location as well. The arancini is always a must have app. We also enjoyed the toasted ravioli and Napoli salad. For entrees we shared the gnocchi, veal parmigiana and cannelloni al forno (all new items for us) and they were all absolute perfection. The cannelloni was easily the best I've ever had and the gnocchi was pillowy and delicious. Ambiance at Napoli 2 is a bit more traditional and rustic compared to the modern, sexy Napoli 3 - still a very nice atmosphere, but my husband and I will probably stick with Napoli 3 for date nights. The moment has passed...after sitting at the bar for some time, with two people working, overall, I felt overlooked. I would have loved to order the Pollo Parmigiana after having whiffed the decadent smell of the eggplant parmigiana the woman to my right had ordered, but alas, after an hour and the bar crowd turning over at least once, my appetite subsided after two glasses of Chardonnay. My Bananas Foster Foster Martini was like a Milk Shake ( I need to figure out how to make). The Side house salad was very good. I decided on the Linguini Mare.. shrimp, scallops, clams and lobster.. save some of their yummy bread to soak up the broth. Dinner here last night was pretty spectacular. Met for a friend/business dinner. Started the evening with a bottle of Orin Swift Abstract which had a nice combination of fruit and leather owing to the Syrah influence. There were two Bolognese and a Filet Mignon. Even though I wasn't starving when we arrived, I ate ALL of the Bolognese. Perfect balance of savory and creamy on perfectly crafted and cooked pasta. Jeff gave the Filet two thumbs up which, if you know Jeff, is a rave review. He felt the Asparagus wasn't grilled enough, but I thought it was perfect. We brought it home so that Jeff could cook the living daylights out of it. We are on the patio and while I am not at all a fan of the strip mall restaurant, Town and Country has a lovely pond between the restaurants and the street. We peeked inside before leaving and the interior was just lovely. Our service was good. Will be trying Napoli in Clayton next! read more

Great dinner even on the patio on a chilly night We have loved visiting Napoli2 for years... it's one of our favorite restaurants. This visit, thanks to the County's rule dining was outside. Napoli2 still made for a great date night, even on a chilly night. They have open tables and some inside a tent; we happily sat outside. They have the propane heaters blowing and also have a fire pit with real loge burning. The hostess encouraged my wonderful wife to bring a blanket, which she did. We also wore winter coats, and gloves between courses... it was not cold, but definitely chilly. Mark was our server, and was gracious as always, as was the rest of the staff. We were seated at a table in the front room, with its high ceiling and slowly changing colored light(s)... quite impressive. As usual, we didn't even open the menu, because we just asked the waiter to just share the specials. All of them sounded great (Wagyu beef!). We selected two seafood specials, and both ate half of each: - appetizer: ciopinno (seafood soup) - scallops on risotto with white wine basil cream sauce - salmon atop some amazing sautéed spinach with olive oil and white wine, and the lemon I squeezed was a great addition The waiter then helped us with the wine. After hearing our request for a Pinot Noir, he proposed a drier Chianti and then brought us a sample of each... and we thankfully selected the Chianti (the Pinot was good, the Chianti just paired better with the fish). The food was great! Both specials were so good that I made sure to use the tasty bread to clean the amazing sauces from both plates. We look forward to returning to our favorite date night restaurant soon! My daughter and son joined me to check out N2. I ordered the chop salad and the 10oz ribeye special. My daughter ordered the STL salad and the eggplant Parmesan. My son ordered the chop salad and the lamb chop special. We shared our salads and entrees so we could taste everything. The chop salad was awesome. The bacon and Gorgonzola cheese makes this salad. The STL salad was average. It was missing a punch. I think there wasn't enough dressing or there wasn't enough vinegar in the dressing. The lamb chops were incredible. They were cooked medium rare and they had a great crust on the outside and it was very tender. The mashed potatoes were as expected. The ribeye special was just ok. There was good flavor but it was chewy and it was cooked medium rare. It came with Brussels sprouts but I changed it to asparagus and it was cooked perfectly with great seasoning. We were wanting a more crispy eggplant experience but it was ok. Then we ordered 2 crème brûlées to share. They were below average. The custard wasn't warm, parts of the caramelized sugar was burnt and it tasted burnt, the custard had a slight bitter taste, and strawberries on top had seen better days. My recommendation is to try the lamb chops or a fillet. Large convenient parking lot. Tom was our waiter and he was excellent. We sat in the dining room where the bar is and it got a little noisy at times. The lamb chops were $55 (well with it) and the 10oz ribeye special was $75 (not worth it) and the eggplant was $15 (so so). read more

The fact that this is spot has any less than 4.7 is almost criminal. I'm a born and bread St. Louisan who has been eating STL Italian since before I can remember. I just enjoyed my birthday dinner here. Our waiter was Alex who gave us great service. We had a party of 6 adults and 2 children at 5:30 PM with a reservation. We were seated immediately on arrival and appetizer and drink orders were quickly taken. My guest and I shared a Caesar salad which was delicious. I enjoyed the chicken Marsala and my guest the chicken piccata. The servings were generous and perfectly prepared. I ate nearly my entire entree and my guest cleaned her plate. Went to Napoli 2 on Saturday night with another couple. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 7:30 reservation and they were able to seat us right away, which was nice. Our server greeted us right away, got our drinks out quickly, and did a very thorough job of explaining the numerous specials. Food came out in a very timely manner and the courses were nicely spaced out. The halibut special was very good, and the truffle mezza luna pasta was excellent. Portion sizes were perfect. My girlfriend had the scallop and prawn pasta special, which I tried, and which was also excellent. I had never been to Napoli 2 before, and have to give credit where credit is due: I was pleasantly surprised. Service was spot on, food was much better than I expected, and the ambiance was nice. The only downside was that the bar area is not separated from the dining room in any way. We were seated right next to the bar, which was standing room only, so it was a bit loud and the staff had to squeeze through to get by. If it were possible to give 4.5 stars, I would. Since it's not, I'm going to go ahead and round up to 5. Nice to have a place like this in West County. read more
