Garry and his team are true professionals. My house required new sewer pipe due to the original 70 year old pipes breaking. It took Garry and his team less than two days to add the new sewer pipe outside and under the house. Garry was not pushy or trying to sell me the job, especially since it was a large job. He was straight forward and gave me options with best case worst case scenarios. I asked lots of questions which he patiently answered. Also, since I'm a visual person, he also showed me all the cracks and broken pieces of the pipe with the inspection camera so I could better understand the problem. Each day Garry and team were prompt/on-time, courteous, respectful, and hard workers. Had a problem a while back, as I'd never lived in a house with a disposall in the kitchen, so shortly after we moved in, I put rose stems down the thing, unaware that's a big no-no. Called Westco, Garry came out right away, got the pipes routed out, and his compadre John installed the new disposall. Two nicer guys you'll never meet. They were efficient, punctual, competent, everything you'd want tradesmen to be. Got the job done. Fast forward to today. Found moisture on the floor, maybe coming up from below. Called Garry's number before 8:00 a.m.- it's Saturday, so I figured I'd get his voice mail. But Garry answered and was at the door by 8:45! Determined that I might need a drain cleaning and after reading the reviews on Yelp called Westco and spoke with Garry. Made an appointment for him to check my situation and give a quote. He was very cordial and explained exactly what needed to be done and the options I had. I opted for a snake through the main cleanout which had opened by itself and spewed toilet paper and water all over. He snaked it showed me the pipe for the main line which had roots and gave me an accurate assessment of how long each of the 3 solutions would last and cost for each. He is an honest plumber! This guy is good! Very thorough & doesn't mind explaining everything he's doing. Our previous plumber retired, so we were unsure whom to call to unclog a bathroom sink. Gary came over at the time promised & quickly unclogged the sink. We were very happy with his demeanor & honesty so we decided have him repair our sprinkler system valves as well, which he repaired & made better than previous. A couple weeks later the same bathroom sink clogged again. Gary promptly came over at no charge & snaked the drain. Once again a couple weeks later the same drain clogged at which time Gary understood there was more of problem than a simple clog. After hydrojetting didn't work, Gary determined it was necessary to change out the drain pipe that ran under the slab of the house. He explained the cost of that but also told us there is possibly a cheaper method of repair that wouldn't necessitate digging into the slab if the clog was situated in the section of pipe within the wall. We allowed Gary to try that & it worked! Saving us a ton of money and inconvenience in disassembling the bathroom vanity & destroying the floor. Without hesitation, Gary is now our "go to" plumber! He is fast, friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, honest. read more

I cannot say enough good about this place. It's a shame I can only give 5 stars. I called them on 5/19 in the afternoon about coming out and filing and drilling down on a couple drains to be able to fit new pieces into them. This was for my grandmother who is 90 years old. They told me they could be at her house by 9am the next morning. I could not have be there to I was a bit worried. After talking with my grandmother this morning, They were one of the best plummer companies I have ever dealt with. I had another plummer service come out a month or so before this and the guy kept telling her he had to drill through the wall to get under her drain and quoting her a insane price. They showed up at 9:00am on the button. They were extremely nice. He finished both drains in about 25 minutes and explained what he was doing the whole time she said. After he was finished, keep in mind she is 90 years old so he say her trying to open a jar in the kitchen, and she said he came in helped her open 3 or 4 things that she would not have been able to otherwise. He even helped her put her walker into the car since that is not a easy task. After all this she asked how much and for a invoice, he handed her a invoice and said NO CHARGE at all. Not even a charge for driving out to her house. I have never heard of a company going that far out of their way to help out. If you need plumbers for anything, I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED these guys! I would not even hesitate or worry to hire them for any job ever! TIP - ask for Garry. Of course our washer machine pipe was clogged and the drain completely overflowed just as we got back from our weekend trip to Arrowhead and had loads of laundry. I called Garry on Sunday and he picked up immediately. I told him about our situation and he came out the next morning, on Memorial Day no less!!! He unclogged our pipes and gave my husband some good advice about replacing pipes in the future. I've used him this past winter in preparation for the rain storms and we're so glad we did! Garry from Westco Rooter just left my house. I attempted to unclog the main drain myself with no success. I then called that smell good guy from the radio, you know, the "I'll unclog any drain for $99" guy? Well, they showed up and without looking at much of anything told me I'd have to pay $415 for a special technician to come look at it. $415 is a LOT more than $99, and that was just to look and see what the problem is. So I tried to unclog it myself again with a professional drain snake...no luck. As I was about to rip my hair out and clog the drain even more I found Westco Rooter on Craigslist, gave them a call and explained the problem. Garry showed up about an hour later and took the time to ask me questions about what was happening and explored different ways to fix the problem. A short time later he had the drain unclogged and flowing like new. And he did this for a very low, advertised promotional price. I couldn't be happier with the work ethic and professionalism of this company. He could've tried to rip me off like many would, instead he just did what he said he'd do at the price he quoted. I was very very happy with this business. Garry is professional, responsive, quick and nice. First time when I call him for water backing up, he call me back right away and came on time. He made very clear about the price of the job he was going to do. Unfortunately he couldn't unclog the pipe because the problem was tree roots growing in the pipe so he didn't charge me anything after working about couple of hours. I call him again to replace that pipe. He respect your property and clean up very well after his job. His price is fair. He does more than what he say he'll do. I end up calling him one more time to replace other pipe because I really trust him now.
