For one, I was referred to this shop a little over a year ago from a trusted friend for some auto body work, in which they don't do, but I kept the shop in mind if I ever did need auto repair work... Fast forward, I brought my car to this shop on Saturday, 6/7/25 for brake issues; unfortunately, my master cylinder was failing which my father previously checked for me. I spoke with William and let him know what my father advised me about the brakes. They inspected my vehicle and determined that it was in fact the master cylinder and he let me know that my father was right. Ok cool, I was already aware of that. William tells me that the part is only available at the dealer, that it's $499 and quoted parts and repair for about $880 or something like that. Before they began the work, he asked me if I spoke with my father again, I'm guessing to check to see what my father would say. I let him know that I had not spoke with my dad again, and only because being that my brakes were pretty bad I didn't want to drive anywhere else and needed my car to commute to work on Monday, I just let them repair it, however, being that I've previously researched the costs for master cylinder repair work for a 2014 Ford Fusion and found nothing over $681, I called the nearest Ford dealerships for parts, gave them my VIN number and received quotes from both shops for $303 for the master cylinder. Smh. William charged me $459.99 for the part. Mind you, there's two Ford dealerships that are only a few miles away, so where he got that price from? I don't know, but I do know that it was bs. So the total cost ended up being $859.39. They only replaced the master cylinder and did a brake flush. My mistake was going there without a man present. I was clearly taken advantage of and will never return to this shop, not even for an oil change and certainly will never refer them to ANYONE. Dishonesty was what I paid for. read more

Very helpful, honest, not out to scam the customer to make a quick buck. They charge a kind of 'flat fee' of $39 to check out your problem(s) and give you a solid assessment. They have a basic list of things they work on but give referrals to other shops that do the things they don't, so call ahead. They don't do tires or mufflers, for example. While traveling through California, I hit a curb and blew my husbands tire out. It was towed to a shop and a new tire was put on. Afterwards the truck seemed to be pulling to the right but the tire shop was too booked to get us in. We needed to be back on the road by 4am the next day. My husband called Westcoast and although they were closing in less than an hour they got us in for the alignment we THOUGHT we needed. Turns out the alignment was fine and it was the new tire throwing everything off. They could have easily still did an alignment and charged us for that but they explained all we needed was a tire rotation and saved us almost 80$. Seriously the nicest people working there and we left there wishing we lived in Cali so we could always go there for any car issues lol they were also SO nice to my 4 year old who already didn't want to be sitting at an auto shop read more

I cannot tell you how many times I've come in for service only to be told to save my money that my scheduled service does not need to be performed at this time. On another occasion we had a difficult time troubleshooting a problem so I was advised to go to my auto dealership they advise me that there's little they can do and the salesman started showing me new cars. At this moment I started feeling desperate So i went back to William my mechanic and ask him please is there anything you can do. He further researched the problem and found the right solution. My go to spot for now on! The staff are so nice, helpful & informative. In October I hit a curb & bent my right control arm pretty bad (at the time i didn't know that). I took it to shop also located on century & thought they repaired it. My alignment was off and I took it back twice for them to fix (the other shop). The second time they just said "it'll straighten back on its own". Well it didn't! I took it to two different alignment shops, they both put it on professional machines and they both said something needed to be replaced in order to align the car. Not to mention the un alignment wore out my 2 brand new back tires! So I took my car to west coast complete auto care. Edgar helped me. They lifted my car and found my control arm looked like it was banged with a hammer (what the previous shop did). He even showed me the damaged part and explained to me how that was causing the problem. He also explained to me about the numbers on my alignment print out. They replaced the control arm and aligned the car. Edgar was super helpful and informative! Highly recommend this place! read more
