I have been taking my cars to Western Autobody for the past 2 cars and a few incidents. I just took my car there a couple of weeks ago to have my car repaired after being rear-ended. Them paired with my insurance, made my claim process go so smoothly that I couldn't be happier! No one likes to have to get into accidents, but when you have one...take your car here! Amazing service and even got to pet a few cute dogs while I was there. PS....I noticed a squeak coming from the back of my car a week later and called to ask them if they can look at it. I cannot say enough good things about Western Auto. My husband had been in a bizzare accident involving a redwood tree. I won't go into all the events, but we had our car taken to 2 other shops, & suffice it to say they were terrible. Couldn't find the replacement part, just let our car sit in the back of their garage for over a week. Our Auto Insurance was losing their patience. Finally, someone recommended Western Auto. Earlier this week I got into a car accident that left my front bumper damaged and hanging on by only a few screws. I'm in my early twenties so major car repairs are always stressful as I don't have the same income that many older adults do. I brought my car in and explained what happened and they fixed it on the spot! They reattached my damaged bumper for me and went over my options. They then gave me a payment plan and cost estimates for the repairs if I decide to get it fixed with them in the future. The woman helping me was very friendly and gave me several different options of various prices to meet my financial needs!! By recommendation of NB Bavarian I first called for an estimate, Tiffany was very helpful, gave an accurate quote, so I brought in a hard top to Mike, the owner, who is very personable, to color match & fit onto my daily driver Z3, a top which I scavenged from another Z3. It required paint matching and I asked if they would also be able to remove the mounting hardware from it and install on the other. The crew, including John, Tony & the painter, did beautiful work. Excellent paint job, top looks natural to the car. And all the hardware and seals were attached perfectly. I feel I paid a fair price for quite a bit of technical parts jockeying. Jackie who works in the office with Tiffany is also very communicative and helpful. The team at Western seem to all work together very well as they collaborate on repairs. Went here on the recommendation of another place in Guerneville that I called initially and was very impressed and grateful for the suggestion. I was involved in a collision that required the replacement of basically the entire front bumper and a good deal of the left front side of my car as well. The guy who performed the initial inspection of my car did a quick patch-up of the front so that my tire wouldn't scrape on the moulding and made sure the driver door could open because they wouldn't be able to get me in for a couple weeks. (Good shop = busy = wait.) When I did drop the car off, it was a couple week turn around but given that it was directly over the holidays, I consider that decent. Everything looked new and worked great. Seamless work with my insurance company (AAA), had a rental on the lot waiting for me, and friendly/polite employees. Would definitely go back here if I ever need to. Only down side is it's a bit out of the way. Worth the drive, though. read more

I had to come here after someone broke into my car at the JC campus to steal three dollars and some Dayquil....thanks who ever that was! They took a crowbar to my door thus causing much more damage than just a glass fix. Cue in Western Auto Body. My insurance company recommended them so off I went. They had to order a couple special parts for my door and do an intense clean up since a ton of glass fell inside of the actual door. When I got my car back today it was spotless, not a single shard of glass plus they cleaned up my whole dashboard of dust. So sweet. Everyone one there was super kind and worked around my schedule as much as possible. I ended up leaving my car there all weekend so as soon as they got the parts they could get cracking. But they did offer to just tape up my window and let me drive it around all weekend. I hope I never have to do something like that again, but if I find myself in the position I will be back here. read more

We've used Western numerous times. They guarantee their work and his prices were extremely reasonable. We bought a BMW X5; owned it for two days before a drunk driver rear ended us at a stop sign. Western repaired the back bumper, side panels, etc and did a really great job. We were happy with the work and the time it took. They do very high quality work and it shows. I'm not sure if you've seen what bad body work is like but it will cost you more to fix bad body work than you paid to repair it in the first place. We just took our BMW back because we had a rock chip on the top that split the paint and after going through a car wash peeled a lot of paint off the top where the chip was located. We had Western, and two other auto body shops give an estimate and Westerns was 10%-25% less than the other two! The best part about Western is that they are honest and they work within your budget; he will even piece out projects if you can't afford it all at once. We plan to have him do some work on our Porsche in sections. If it's insurance they deal with your adjustor and insurance and it went super smooth. Check them out... you won't be disappointed. To the reviewer that complained about the estimate....I would worry about a place that gave you an estimate 1/4 of the price of this shop... Even I can paint your car for $2000 but it's not going to look like a professional did it. :) A good paint job will usually run $12-15k if not more. Leaving a review over an estimate is sort of deceiving since you didn't really even use the business. read more

My number one go to place or auto body work. Top notch! I've had cars repaired here from accidents (hey now, not usually my fault), as well as elective paint work on my motorcycle. Whatever you come here for, you can expect great service and work that you'll be proud of many years and miles down the road. Even though it's a bit outside Santa Rosa (really just a short drive), arranging a rental is no problem. The girls in the office will get you all set up while the boys work magic on your ride. Insurance pro tip: you only have to get one estimate and the place is your choice. Don't be a sucker and go with the lowest bidder that your insurance tries to sweet talk you into, or "just meet the adjuster" at that giant auto body shop that spits out mediocre work at discount prices. Be firm with them. You pay for your premiums and deductibles, so get the work done right, because you are the one who ultimately has to live with it for years. read more

A minor fender-bender to the right rear edge of my vehicle looked bad and I thought I'd have to have exterior panels replaced. I took my car to Western Auto Body for an estimate and the owner, Michael, looked at it and figured it was possibly just transfer and could be wiped off.
