Had to take my car in for an insurance evaluation. Greeted well on the phone. Greeted well in person. However the person evaluating my vehicle left me confused about the insurance process-first accident in 20+ years. It took the manager to help me understand the process. Thank goodness for the manager's patience and willingness to help someone out. Sadly my car ended up totaled, but Because of the Luis the manager, I do recommend using this place. Quality of communication and customer service was very poor. My car need the front bumper fixed, and my car came back with so many defects that they claim they have nothing to do with. My car is electric with sensor on the bumper, of course the electric part of my car was touched. My handles on door don't turn on, my window does not go down. Not to mention they order the wrong color of part and installed my bumper all wrong. Multiple times I tried to reach out to someone but communication is poor with no ETA. read more

This auto body repair shop took over from Sebastopol Auto Body which was one of the best autobody repair shops I have ever used. Their quality of workmanship does not compare!§ to the old shop. Our vehicle hit a deer and had damage to the front fender and hood. Although the cosmetic repair appeared good, the repair shop completely missed the fact that the radiator was punctured in the accident. They also did not notice that we had sustained a crack in the windshield which still needs to be repaired. Although we got the car back in a fairly reasonable length of time considering the amount of damage, the overlooked mechanical problems are still being repaired by the dealership at our own expense. read more

I've never been to an automotive shop I would recommend. This changed today. Todd at G&C diagnosed and fixed my problem (water leak) in less than an hour and charged me the minimum. He could have easily billed me for 4-5 hours of work and I would have no choice but to pay. Honest, nice and quick. Highly recommended. read more

This was the cleanest auto body shop lobby I've ever seen. They seem pretty busy as they didn't have an appointment avail for an estimate on a minor repair for almost a week. I did get my appointment and estimate. Marisela the lady who helped me was super nice and on her own accord tried to clean the cosmetic scratches on my bumper that had been swiped until I repaired it properly without charge. The estimate came just a few hours later and was less than my first estimate at another shop. read more

Today I was verbally harassed by the general manager Todd Puterbaugh. This person, because I was pulled to the side of the road responding to a work text, pulled up next to me in C&G Parking a lot and while flipping me off, calling me bitch, cunt, etc., demanded I move my truck, parked on the street, not in the parking lot, so he could back into his parking space, which he had more than enough room to do. Then when I went in to ask for his business card, he got in my face, with no mask on, threatening me with physical violence. G&C is the absolute best! The original scheduled service couldn't be completed on the day we dropped off my car and I had an appointment the next morning. So, we picked up my car from G&C, I completed my appointment and we took my car back for the job to be completed. When my car was finished later that day, I wasn't able to drive back to Sebastopol to pick it up. Marisela was terrific! Got hit by a guy backing out of a driveway on my lane. The passenger side front door would not open and there was extensive damage to the fender and passenger side of the bumper. I took it in Monday afternoon and picked it up Friday. And she was beautiful again and everything worked like it was supposed to work. I was really impressed with the service in the Sebastopol G and C. They took my car in as scheduled, explained in detail what was needed to fix the car(I was hit by a boy who was not paying any attention to the road). I was never given to opportunity to do business with the esteemed G&C Auto Body so I'm not able to give an accurate review. Several weeks ago I phoned for an appointment. I was given one and showed up at the scheduled time. Once there I was told the estimator was out that day. OK fine, it happens though a message might have been nice. The office person was friendly and kind and took pictures of my car and made notes. The proposed repair was a small one and would have been out of pocket, not a big insurance job. Office person promised a quote in 2 or 3 days. Crickets..... Again, a message might have been nice. "We're busy..we don't want your little repair job". Anything.
