Went yesterday before the hockey game and gave two hours before it started.. Sat down right away (should've been a clue) took 15 min to get a drink order in then another 10 min or so to get it. At this time we are ready to order and our waiter walks away and doesn't come back for maybe 20-30 minutes.. Put our order in finally and it takes about 45 minutes or so longer to get. At this time by the time we get our food we only have about 15 minutes to scarf it down. Poor customer service - I get that it was probably got busy but at least the waiter could have done was come talk to us about it every once in awhile. Food was OK but gave all three of us food poisoning. Needless to say will NEVER go back read more

Lousy food, limited menu, if you would call it menu! Service was touchy, at best,. Sorry but I won't be back here again.

We went for a lunch on a Saturday. After waiting 15 minutes for a server, we asked if we had someone and were told ehh yea shortly. We were one of 4 tables in the entire place for lunch. The food, once we actually got it, was equally horrible. Should've known when it was the only place without a wait to be seated. read more

I usually come here after work. I'm a restaurant owner as well, I know the staff here (ask for Daniel, Thalina, or Taylor they're the best) Mat he claims he's a mgr at the bar but he sucks avoid him at all cost if you sit there. Ask for Mikey instead he's great ! Thanks - Selene read more

Not sure where to start. It's 56 degrees after a Cardinals game. The inside smells like vomit and the patio has wonderful heaters, but they refuse to turn them on. The service is not great because they are busy (understandable). The food is subpar for a bar. The only reason Bar Louie stays in business is the wait for other places is too long. read more

My friends and I recently came here for a birthday party and it was amazing! Our waiter Daniel was super attentive! He was always there when we needed something. Our food came out fast and hot. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! If you do decide to come here make sure to request Daniel! read more

Great service! One of my favorite bars to come too. My bartender Telina was excellent and made some amazing new cocktails for me like the staycation. Marissa was also excellent serving up the cheesesteak sandwich that was amazing. read more

The bourbon burger and tots were really good and the our waiter was friendly! But there was about a 10 minute wait between one half of our table getting their food and the other, which was slightly awkward because we wanted to wait for them to eat but didn't want our food getting cold! Overall it as a pretty good experience! read more

Restaurant is well situated. The staff (Jessi) was very friendly and took care of us. The food was ok did have to return my voodoo pasta because it was cold. The appologized and took it back. When they returned it it was super hot. However I was told it was fresh but they had just microwaved it. Told my server and she got me a new order. Over all the ambience is good and the beer is cold. read more

As soon as we walked in we were served with a smile! Sunshine was our waiter and he was so amazing! Loved it there!

This place is located in Westgate, near the Cardinals stadium and Gila River Arena. The entrance is near the fountain and when you walk in, the bar is directly in front of you. It is a large restaurant with outdoor seating if you care to brave the heat this time of year. We have been to Bar Louie a number of times and have been absolutely thrilled with the quality of the food and the service. They have ten hamburger selections, including a Spiked Bulleit Bourbon Burger that you have to be 21 to eat. I have had the Fried Louie, which has bacon, cheddar and eggs and served with fries or tots. The burger was beautifully cooked and the richness of the egg adds an awesome component. The Louie Burger is a must for the Midwest folks, as it has grilled onion, Provolone and spicy giardiniera--a flavor explosion! They are not just a burger place, but that is what draws me here. The service has always been spot on and the place is clean. The ambiance is more toward the higher end of casual eateries, and costs a little more as well. With all the other things going on at Westgate, it is just fun to be here. They are not perfect however. Their Happy Hour menu is unclear at best. They could really tighten that up. Also, you need to be aware if there is an event happening at either of the arenas. All the restaurants in what I call Westgate proper (surrounding the fountain) serve reduced menus when there is something happening that will draw large crowds. To end on a positive note: Tuesday they have $5 burgers from 5-close (except the spiked bourbon burger). Gotta love that! read more

Rick was amazing! Didnt have to ask for napkins or refils, he stayed on top of everything! Thank you for making my first visit everything I expected, will definitely be going back! read more

Used to be one of my favorite spots, but they recently changed their menu. When I find something different on a menu it's a good thing, it makes the restaurant unique and stand out from the rest. A burger is pretty much the same bar food everywhere, but Bar Louie had a Portobello mushroom burger and a chicken breast with wing sauce, Blue cheese and spinach. They both were to die for. So disappointed! I'll have to find a new place now. read more

Overall I haven't had the greatest experiences here. I always got a new bartender who wasn't knowledgeable, and my food would always get messed up. I have to say since returning numerous times in the past nine months I have seen a big change. Their food has always been delicious, but more recently it's also reached me promptly. There is also a top notch bartender that always takes care of me and whoever I am with. Ned is the mixologist to talk to. He is fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. Frankly, his service is the reason why I bumped them up to four stars. If they didn't give me a bad first impression for so long it would of been five stars, but their improvements in staff and ticket times for food has changed my mind. I would recommend this place to a friend. read more

It was a freezing night!!! We went to have a late dinner we had just arrived in Arizona and were pretty hungry. We headed over to Westgate because we knew there was many options. We saw Yard House and we decided to go in. It was extremely full. They told us the wait was 45 minutes.....and we had to wait outside. We took the pager but we decided to walk around and look at other options. We saw this place, we hadn't heard of it and I had not Yelped it. My husband went in and asked about the wait, they said no wait and you may sit anywhere you'd like. I almost ran back to the other place. I went and returned the pager. We were very happy to be out of the cold. Our waitress was very pleasant and my husband and I immediately ordered some drinks. I ordered an orange mule it was very refreshing and sweet. I enjoyed a couple lol. My husband ordered his usual (he's not adventurous) he had a vodka tonic. For dinner I picked an appetizer, the shrimp lettuce wraps which our waitress recommended. They were delicious! Spicy and served with a spicy mustard and a sweet sauce on the side. It was a delightful mixture of flavors and I enjoyed it very much. I couldn't finish it , it was filling. We will definitely think of coming back here. read more

My brother in law and I were looking for a spot to pre game before the cards game. We walked into bar Louie on a friend's suggestion and it was worth it!! We sat at the bar and a girl named Corita was our bartender. She was AWESOME!! Our glasses stayed full, and she smiled the whole time! She made sure we were having g a good time and checked on us frequently even though it was pretty busy. The food was great! With the suggestion from Corita, I had the "impossible burger" which is a plant based party meat substitute and it was amazing! Could t even tell it wasn't real meat! We also split a basket of bourbon bbq wings as an app and they were perfect! There are not enough great things to say about this place, I will absolutely be back, and if you go, ask for Corita!! She's always at the bar! read more

I typically stop by Bar Louie when I am at Westgate. The bartenders make a great martini, which people might think is an easy task, but really it is not. I know that if I want a good drink, Bar Louie is definitely my go-to when I am in that neighborhood. read more

Rude servers, After 30 min had to leave since they wouldn't wait on us and were even ride about it. It is the reason they are empty in comparison to other restaurants read more

Ok so let me start by saying I use to frequent the location in Virginia with no issues. From the time we sat down everything was a little off. Took around 10 minutes for someone to realize we were there and then he took our order for drinks. Not sure if he was just quiet but definitely not engaging. So......the cleanliness....the app plates and some silverware were all dirty, menus all nasty and even the check holder was gross. When the meals came out, 3 of 4 were dropped off with no word spoken about the missing meal. 5 minutes later it got dropped of in a driveby....really not a friendly staff at all. The food however was really good. Weird thing they turned the lights off over our table 3 times and we had to say something to our server. Probably won't come back. read more

Service is absolutely horrid at this place. They understaff so expect 45-1hr minimum for food and usually 20 mins for service. Have walked out before, figured I'd give them another chance because they have a good tap list that's affordable. Half of the food was cold when we got it and severely overcooked as it had been sitting all day (the beans AND chicken were bone dry). Shame, because had a couple of good experiences here too, great prices on happy hour. I guess come here when it's not dinner time, the weekend, or busy in general. read more

Enjoyed a great lunch and cocktails. Staff was attentive and pleasant. The outside patio was very nice.

My friend recently discovered the "Diva" martini during a vacation, so a few of us went to Bar Louie to try them and share in her excitement. We were highly disappointed to hear they were out of pineapple juice, an essential ingredient in these pineapple-pomegranate martinis. We expressed our frustration to our server, Chris, who seemed genuinely sad for us. He returned shortly to inform us that he had procured pineapple juice from the bar next door! This kind of customer service is rarely seen nowadays, and it made our night! We greatly appreciated how attentive Chris was, and how he went above and beyond to give us a great experience. He also drew fun pictures on our to-go bags, which made us smile. Thanks for bringing us joy, and martinis, and delicious burgers, Chris! read more

Went to Bar Louie's this evening. 25 minute wait, not bad considering 2hours b4 Blake Shelton Shelton show. Sent my first Dos Equis back tasted terrible. 40 minutes later 3 of 5 of our burgers showed up.10 minutes later spoke to the manager and told him he could keep the remaining 2 orders. He apologized and then returned with our server. At that point I informed him I would not pay my bar tab either as we had been waiting for our 3rd round of drinks for 25 minutes. My other companions commented that AM PM serves a better burger. Sounds Bar Louie's is lucky that my food never showed up. Will honestly neve enter this establishment again. I give them a 0 out of 5 star review. Wow it will not let me post without giving a star. It is honestly undeserved. read more

Decided to go out for a nice evening out. Never been to Bar Louie. Walked in and no one to be found, went up to the bar they said find any table to sit at. We have been here for 20 minutes! Not one server has come to greet us. And so I walked inside The same time as this guy behind me who was also upset he has not been seated. We both tell a server she says to the guy let me get your drink order. She never came to my table who is next to the guy. Another 10 mins go by now 30 minutes. My friend goes to find someone to take our order. Some girl comes apologizes but not sincerely. Takes out drink order. I give it to her for pretending it's not a huge deal to leave your guest unattended for 30 minutes with no water or anything! Do not come here and do not expect this place to stay open with poor management! I will tell everyone who comes to West gate and unfortunately for you it's a lot of customers! Zero stars ! read more

I had really hoped this place would ROCK IT because I would love to have another favorite at Westgate. We went last night after the Rattler vs Soul Arena Bowl championship because getting into Salt (the planned after party locale) was over an hour to get inside. I liked the decor and truly thought this would be a fun place for dinner and drinks for a group of 10. We were seated quickly - should have been a sign - and given three menus for 10 people. After 20 minutes, we finally had somebody come to take a drink order. It wasn't that bad as we were all chatting and having a good time with each other so we didn't notice. We each ordered a drink and being that we waited so long, we stated we were ready to order dinner as well. The server explained she needed to do the drink order first and she would return. Another 20 minutes later, she returned with our drinks. Another 10 minutes later, she took our order. Another 30 minutes later, we were having dinner. Oh, haven't mentioned a drink reorder. We didn't have one. We asked for our checks and yep, true to form another 20 minutes later we got our checks and those of who paid cash got clean get aways but those with credit cards had another 20 minutes to wait. The food was just ok and certainly not worth the high prices on the menu. Sorry to say, we won't be back. We will stick to Salt, Kabuki and Yard House at Westgate. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would this place is horrible the staff is too damn delicate the bar is named bar louie...so my friends and u went to the bar after a cards game and we just asked why the bar was named bar louie, our bartender then asks his manager what we asked and comes back and tells us we are cut off and we cant order any liquor wtf.... The classic line.."if I could give zero stars, I would". Well that's never been so true. This place is honestly the worst service and the worst food. They do not have any idea what they are doing and this establishment is run complete idiots. Typical strip mall where the service is absolutely terrible. Stopped by this place after going to the Broncos Cardinals game at the nearby Stadium. It seem like a cool place we didn't spend much time here we got a quick drink before we headed home. We are greeted quickly and we were able to sit out on the outside patio where we can watch water show display is located in the center of the complex. It was a little bit hot out on the patio but we chose to sit there anyway. The beers were good the menu is fairly simple. The biggest downside to this place was that the music was turned up way too loud. The music was not coming from this restaurant fortunately but it was loud enough next door or we could not hear each other speak. Next time I think will sit inside I'll have to get something off the menu to get the full experience of this place. I guess it's just me getting older but the bars really do need to turn down the music is uncomfortable and super annoying to have to lean over every 2 seconds to understand a conversation. read more

We've been to Bar Louie twice in most recent months. Annnd - we're done. The best thing about Bar Louie is the location. Everything else- could use much improvement. We've been during the week, and on a busy early evening during a local event. The drinks were okay. Nothing to whip out the wallet for. The food was lacking at best. Our last visit, I ordered the pretzels. Costco sells better frozen, heat and serve, and for a far better price. Hubs ordered the meatless burger. We get a better burger, for a better price at Burger King. The service was as blase as it gets. It's so unfortunate that this prime real estate isn't taken better care of. There is great competition in the area. And when you walk by and see plenty of tables open, it's for good reason. read more
