We came to bar Louie , a party of 5 and the hostess walked us outside and we asked to be in view of a tv (there were no tables sat) and when we asked for a certain table she SLAMMED the menus on the table and said NOTHING ... Yas-en-ia we asked for her name and unfortunately I do not know how to spell it but she(?) had faded green/blue hair and was SENT home because of how awful he/her(?) service was...Gavin was an awesome server , but unfortunately we felt like we shouldn't be there and it was only 9pm and they closed at 12am!!! The GENERAL MANAGER Jonathan brought our food out ice cold ... didn't even offer us a discount just told us to "ask" for him next time as if that helps the awful service from tonight.... This place was excellent! Our service was very friendly. A ton of beers on tap with two seperate bars. I huge selection of martinis but I didn't try them. Ned is amazing!!! Honestly if it wasn't for him I would never go to this place. He always makes my drinks just perfect and makes sure my food comes out in a timely matter. Stayed in the area for a few days of meetings. Let me start by saying it is disappointing that our service industry is having a tough time to recover or make a positive lasting impression on customers. Had a meal here on Tuesday night. The hostess was less than excited to be there. Our waitress lacked enthusiasm and a smile as well. Ordered a few items only to be told that each of my first three selections were out of stock. I suggest updating the menu so that we are aware. Having to look again and the menu and then wait for our waitress to return made this experience off to a poor start. I do feel the other orders were entered first as when their came out, they clearly looked to be sitting a while. Food was ok. Can have the same at an Applebees or Chilis chain. The service was a 3 out of 10. Also have to add that I walked by o Friday only to see a group frustrated with the same hostess and left. Appeared the wait time was greater than 20 minutes for a restaurant that appeared to be less than 1/4 full. Plenty of choices to pay for a meal in this area. So we went on a Sunday afternoon after a movie and the place was pretty empty maybe about 4 tables seated. I've got to say I was not overly impressed. the service was slow and all the burgers were overcooked. I mean if you're going to ask somebody how they want their burger cooked by all means it should come that way. The bill came it was $125 for five of us for lunch. We've been coming to bar Louie regularly before Coyotes games and always had decent experiences. Today we had one of our worst experience at any restaurant. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and pub food ( wings and pretzels). An hour and a quarter after ordering we still didn't have our food and everybody at the bar that ordered after us got their food. Our server was more concerned about serving us drinks then taking care of our long over due food order. We complained to the manager that didn't even apologize. This location is one of my favorites. It's great for before a game/concert or just a night out. This past weekend was special because they held our 10 year reunion for us. I highly recommend hosting private parties here! They gave us our own space and own wait staff and everything was amazing. The manager Chip and his team were rock stars. Shout out to Kierstin for being a server and part of the reunion and making sure everything ran smoothly and was fun! We will be back and hope to book future parties there. Food is alright. Always have to wait close to 10 mins. for the waiter to come and infinity for the food to come out. Servers are always standing around talking and not doing their jobs. Recently, I came in after 10pm with 4 adults and 1 minor. They refused to serve us even after WE SAT DOWN! Told us that they card every customer after 10pm. They have NEVER CARD any of my group ONCE! I spoke to the manager on duty (Jonathan), and he said as far as he has been working there, that's the rule. There was a few customers there that night. All the server's clearly saw that I walked in with a child, yet no one came up to inform us their "after 10 PM rule". No signs in front at all. I will never dine in at Bar Louie again. We asked the bartender for a re-pour. She copped an attitude with us and the new drink came out in more liquid, but she just poured juice in it. Never apologized, just kept glaring at us, while she played on her cell phone. Waitress never came back to the table for us to order food. Buser took our payment so we could actually leave.
