First time at this new location. I have been to the BL in TEMPE and sat at the bar and had a great experience. No so good so far here. Been sitting at our table for 20 minutes and no drinks yet. Pretty bad service. Ok. They redeemed theirselves with great food. It was worth the wait. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe they were working out the kinks. Didn't have time to take pics of the food. We inhaled it as soon as it hit the table. read more

If I could give service 10 stars from Kara (our waitress) I would. I had the impossible burger which was amazing considering no meat. My girlfriend has celiacs disease and the GM came over and spent his time making sure she was accommodated. Berry martini was yummy. read more

The food here is exceptionally good. Nikole was our server and did a great job. We enjoyed the food, cocktails, and the atmosphere. Happy hour pricing is very affordable!!!! read more

Walked inside and was promptly greeted by a host. Very polite and comedic. Asked for a table on the patio, which sits you next to a nice water fountain. Server was polite and prompt. My only disappointment was with the food. While the food was tasty, it lacked ingredients. They no longer serve au jus with the Philly cheesesteak. I ordered the BBQ burger and was brought a burger with no BBQ sauce. After noticing and asking for a side of BBQ I was told they haven't had BBQ sauce for over a week. A good experience overall, but could use improvement. read more

For the best time, happy hour, staff (Manager Jonathan, servers Kayla & Taylor) great food (Nachos!!!!) pet friendly! We stopped for a bite and a beer and ended up staying in Glendale for a few days and visiting Bar Louie several times...everything was great! read more

Sam was the absolute best waitress I've come across while being in glendalSo sweet, will definitely be coming back!

Nice decore and atmosphere. Not many quiet spaces buy that is to be expected in this simi-upper level sports bar. My date told me the fish tacos had no taste. Seems like a good place to hang out. read more

Quiet for sure in the summer but great service with Stacy and super flavorful veggie flatbread. Awesome happy hour!

I had a great time with my husband tonight at this Bar Louie for our anniversary! The veggie flatbread and the voodoo pasta were both really delicious. Our waitress Holly recommended the PB&J mule and it was so good! Our food was delivered by the manager John, and he was very welcoming. We will definitely be coming back to this location! read more

I will preface this review by saying I read reviews avidly and I'm sure if I read my review from an outside perspective I wouldn't believe me. My partner and I had dinner next door at the yard house (10/10 def recommend). I had 1 drink . We came here after and sat at the bar. My partner wasn't drinking because he was driving home. I ordered 1 drink and a water from a male bartender who was super nice. a women bartender came by a few minutes later and asked if I wanted anything else, I ordered another drink. She came by about 5 minutes after I ordered that drink saying she couldn't serve me and I was being cut off. This really surprised me and my partner because I had had only had 2 drinks all night and I was not being obnoxious or in anyway seemingly overly intoxicated. Literally moments after the girl bartender let us know I was cut off, the first male bartender came by asking If i was ready for a 2nd . This confirmed that I wasn't acting drunk at all because A) I wasn't and B) our original bartender was ready to serve us again. I will admit I am a person who struggles sitting still so I do sway in my chair a bit but I was literally having a convo with my partner and looking at social media on my phone. Not certain why the bartender felt the need to cut me off at 7:30 pm after 2 drinks but it really ruined my saturday night. We didn't argue, we just paid for the one drink and left but not sure what was going on here. read more

Popped in here for dinner with co-workers on a Tuesday which happens to be half-priced burger day. While the vibe is modern and upbeat, the food and service were sub-par. However, thanks to happy hour appetizer specials (and most of us ordering burgers), our tab was extremely reasonable! There seemed to be confusion among the staff as to who was taking care of our table which became awkward when the two candidates didn't seem to get along. The calamari was rubbery, drink refills sometimes slow, and a few special order instructions missed. All in all: Great values can be found, but keep your expectations low. I left feeling embarrassed we didn't take our out-of-town guests somewhere with better food and service when there are so many great restaurants in Phoenix. read more

Looks like a great place but they wouldn't accept my forty year old friends out of country ID!

This place sucks you seat your self and everyone ignores you! It took us 20 minutes to get waited on . I would suggest go anywhere except this place. No one really wants to be here working! read more

Food and drinks were great! Landon took great care of us on the patio ! Great atmosphere too!

Tried to have dinner. Took 20 minutes just to get cold sliders and they delivered my calamari to the wrong table and never did bring me my order. After letting the server know my food was cold he said "ok cool" and walked away. After deciding to just leave once my wife was done with her food since it was obvious I wasn't getting anything I ordered. The server said to me with an attitude "were busy " so because your busy I don't get my dinner????? The good thing about Westgate is there are PLENTY of places to eat and take my business to. I appreciate the management reaching out. This was my second visit in 2 months with the same bad service. The first time we chalked it up to a busy night because we were able to get our order but no re fills or second round of drinks because our server basically disappeared on us but this last visit was the last. The attitude the server gave us was absolutely BS! Get better staff that don't use the excuse "we're busy " for poor job performance. read more

Bartender was entirely rude with an attitude upon arrival !! Was excited to try the food and enjoy an evening out. Sooooo disappointed. She should be fired ! Get better help and maybe customers would want to stay and spend money and enjoy an evening out. read more

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say the service was a six and I would say it was a 6 only because we had a good waiter. I forget his name but he had the tattoos and a cool haircut. He was so friendly and very welcoming. But the waitress with the blonde hair and the awkward bartender on the afternoon shift are just weird and they make you feel uncomfortable. I definitely would recommend to get the cool waiter with the cool tattoos and cool haircut because he was just friendly very warm and welcoming and he delivered great service ask for the waitress with the blonde hair don't remember her name she was just awkward. In terms of the guy at the bar with the black hair he was just rude weird and made me feel uncomfortable and I don't like him. Please check out the picture that's attached. read more

Our food was delivered cold. Service was horrible. Had to go up to bar to get water refill.

Super disappointing. We were really excited to try this place for our anniversary, after hearing great things about their food and drinks. Sadly we left after waiting 15 minutes at our table with multiple servers walking by and no one even acknowledging us or asking for a drink order. Even more disappointing because they weren't even busy. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I doubt we will come back to try again. read more

Smells like straight ass in there, floors were rlly sticky bad funky smell. Food was good and service was ok. Someone left their chonies in the bathroom read more

Love this place... but first time at this location isn't starting out too good. Walked in ... manager said open seating feel free to sit anywhere. Nice. Sat down after about 7 mins my husband went to look for someone to serve us... found manager he apologized and went to find a server for us. After couple mins he came back and took our drink order. Then a server finally came. Took 24 mins to get our drinks!!! Wonder how long our food will take. read more

Very mediocre food. We came for happy hour which was okay, we got buffalo wings and calamari (weird combo I know). The calamari was greasy and the wings were chicken chunks with buffalo sauce. I liked my beer and the lemon drop was good. But overall disappointing. I wouldn't come back here for the food, but the ambiance and service was good. read more

MARISSA IS AMAZING. that's it. That's the review. Amazing hair and great service. Thanks sister! :-)

Clara was the best! She attended us with respect! Will be coming back! Amazing food as well!

Unacceptable! Walked in with friend that hadn't experienced Bar Louie... sit anywhere they said. Let's sit at the bar for faster service, I said. 8 minutes later ... 2 bartenders, 4 servers standing by ... no water offered, no drinks offered... We left to Yardhouse ... sat down and 30 seconds later, we were attended and 1 minute later we had our drinks .. What am I saying? Go to Yardhouse instead. read more

Food was good. Drinks were potent enough and the service was great. Jessie was friendly and knowledgeable. Thumbs up from NY!

Fun time great happy hour! Amazing service and very on top of things. Will definitely be going back!

My wife and I had a very nice brunch at Bar Louie at Westgate yesterday. Not very crowded and the service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender Corita was very pleasant and attentive to our questions and needs. Never had to ask for a refill on our drinks, and the food was superb! Thanks Corita! read more

Tried to give them another chance, once again bar Louie fail....same employee came out & literally argued with me about certain food items when on the menu it literally says what's on it. Tbh bar Louie need a whole new training system & new workers. It's depressing and sad to watch, the workers doesn't look pleased to be there and isn't friendly enough to serve us. DO NOT GO TO BAR LOUIE. read more

Rick, (with the sexy hair) is motherf*cking awesome. Got me all the happy hour drinks and water on the rocks. 10/10 recommend. Ask for his section to look at the goods. Will be back fo' sho! read more

Decided to try this place before the Queen concert. Since it's in Westgate and directly across from the arena where the show was, they had an "event menu" which also coincided with happy hour. This menu was a scaled down version of the full one, which they were displaying outside for passers by to peruse. Seated ourselves, as the hostess said it was open seating. I noticed it was happy hour, which included select appetizers, so I asked our server about which items were included in the happy hour and she said they all were since it was an event menu. We ordered based on what she said and the food was rather good. Two different flavors of traditional wings (buffalo and asian), lettuce wraps, a hummus plate, a cheese quesadilla, and a couple side salads, along with drinks. When our server brought the bill, I looked over it and realized only one food item was marked down for happy hour. I asked our server about it, she went and checked, and returned saying only the quesadilla, boneless wings, and one other thing were included in the happy hour. I was surprised by this and questioned her, but all she said was "I'm sorry". She made no effort to compensate for her complete lack of knowledge of the menu at all. Had we known about the very limited selection, we would have ordered completely differently. I would have liked to speak to a manager, but due to time constraints we just paid the bill and left. The food was good, the atmosphere was solid, but the service left much to be desired, and that's what lead me to give this place 3 stars. Will I return? Possibly, now that I know the hyper limited happy hour menu, but there are many other restaurant options in the same area, so we'll see. read more

The service and the food was good. However, the lighting on some of those tables is absolutely horrible. I don't want to eat under a 50,000 KW spotlight like I'm Gordon Ramsey tasting a French fry in front of a thousand viewers. And the music is also insanely loud. Which is crazy because I still can't hear it because the people have in the restaurant have to talk EVEN LOUDER. All of this just ruined my experience entirely. read more

Bar Louie gets an whopping 4 stars from this guy here. Came in after a night of drinks. Lucky for me they have a light outside that says "kitchen open late". Honestly the only reason we came in. Wife had boneless buffalo chicken wings!!. They were freaking amazing. I had a burger that was ok.just ok. I was a bit disappointed wit it honestly. Either way i would still come again. read more

Arrived at 12:30 (lunch time) and there was one person serving the entire place..which was empty so that should have been the first red flag. The manager (or what looked to be) saw us walk in and didn't tell us anything about seating ourselves as we clearly looked for some direction. Unfortunately, other than some of the food being ok, the rest of the experience was poor at best. Our waiter never came to the table and when he finally did to take our orders he came back 10 minutes later only to tell us that he'd forgotten our orders and hadn't put anything in yet - not to mention we had two impatient toddlers with us. The food overall was ok, some things were cold but the taste/execution was fine hence the only two stars I'm giving this place. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

I am glad to see Westgate getting more and more dining options. I have been to Bar Louie several times in the last few weeks and I am happy to see the service has improved greatly since my last visit during the summer. It is quickly becoming my go to place to dine at Westgate. The last few times I was there it was incredibly busy. Our server Kellie did an outstanding job keeping up despite having several large tables to manage. She was always popping up at the table like a dedicated stalker haha. I say that in a good way. She can hold her own in a conversation as well. I am a sucker for the loaded tots I almost always open with those. My alternative is the Nachos Libra. For an entree you can't go wrong with baked mac and cheese. Tater tots and Mac and cheese. That is comfort food. I am on a sobriety kick right now so was happy to see several mock tail options. I always feel ackward drinking water when my company is enjoying alcohol. A mock tail is appreciated! One final plus this place serves a full menu to close! read more

Came in for a mid-day bite (2 of us). Not too busy and was able to pick our own table. There had been a menu change recently and although they changed the name of my choice burger, it remained on the menu (Fried Louie is now the All Nighter). Our waiter was pleasant, pretty attentive but we did have to ask for refills on our drinks in between his visits. The wait for food was a tad long for the crowd. Our food came out fresh but it was not cooked as ordered (Medium was Well and Medium rare was Medium). Even my egg was cooked a little long. Still tasted good enough to eat. Tots portion for my plate were plentiful but fries for my companion were in a cup and not quite a handful in portion size. Over all I felt that I could have received the same quality if not a tad bit better from Carl's Jr. The bad of it is, I brought a newbie in, and had talked it up and for our visit to be... meh, I'm only giving BL a 3 star review. Hopefully my next visit will be better. read more

Worst service ever - took over 1 hour to get food and over 30 min to get a glass of beer. Food was so so bar food so I can't fault them completely for that - but Service on a Saturday Night when your best revenues come in was ridiculous. Pass and go somewhere else please! read more

Salt, salt, salt!!! So I ordered a Bloody Mary. Worst decision ever. I took one sip and started coughing because it was THAT salty. Whoever the bar tender was loaded my drink with celery salt. And I did have my husband test it just to make sure it wasn't just me and his reaction was the same. I remember coming to this bar and loving the drinks. It's definitely changed over the years sadly. read more
