As an adult now I feel the need to express the trauma this lady "Doctor" Connie Nguyen did to me. I came here growing up and I use to struggle with my weight. This Doctor wasn't nice about it. I remember hating the place because of her. But what really ticked me off fast forward to when I got pregnant she had said to me that I should consider adoption. Like what kind of Doctor says that. AVOID this office! Avoid Dr. Connie Nguyen. All they care about is money. The doctor keeps advertising to my mom different products like shots and medications, which is against the rule of practicing medicine! Today, Dr. Connie Nguyen changed my mom's blood pressure medication without telling her. She came in yesterday to get a bone shot and nothing was said about her blood pressure. Then today, the illiterate front-office and back-office staff called my brother demanding that my mom come back for labs and another follow-up. My brother told them that they were just there yesterday, how come nothing was said?! My mom's blood pressure was in the 150s and she has a history of being nervous at the drs office, and that is not that high. We told them that her blood pressure was in the 110-120s BEFORE and AFTER the doctor's office appointment, so it is not necessary to change her medication. Yet, they demanded that my mom come back for another appointment and labs.. and they changed her blood pressure medication without letting my mom know. They just care about the money!! They don't care about the health of their patients, especially the elderly. I've already had many complaints about this place, and this is the last time we'll take my mom back there. read more

Just called this clinic for medical attention, this is how the dialog went through the telephone. Ring ring.. Lady: "Hello?", "hello?" Me: "Hello, is this UCI Wesminster Medical Center?" Lady: "Oh, yea.. what?" Me: "What? Is this how you professionally answer your calls?" Lady: "i dont know" Me: "May i know who I'm speaking to?" Lady: "No" Another lady: "What can I help you with?" Me: "Nothing, i do not feel comfortable having a consult at your location." I don't know if I was being fooled, but this clinic has very poor customer service over the phone how much more in person. Had an accent, but I'm not one who judges that way. The lady had no proper etiquette as soon as she picked up my call. No where in her greeting did she even mention I was calling a medical center. What a shame and incredibly rude. The sad thing is, I couldn't even experience the care from any of the suppposed great doctors at this clinic. Shame on your staff! read more

My family doctor is Huan Le. He's very professional and and takes his time to talk to me. His staffs are super nice and friendly.

I transferred over to the UCI Westminster Medical Center group a while ago and saw Dr. Huan Le as my primary physician. He treats adult patients over the age of 18. He is always professional, respectful, and friendly. He graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine (go Bruins!); his knowledge is extensive and his social skills are great. I've seen that he interacts with both older adults and young adults very well. His nurses are also very professional and nice. Their facility respects patient privacy, which we all know is extremely important. I wouldn't want one of the nurses disclosing my personal information to my parents or something. There is a parking lot both in the front and the back of the building. There are an ample number of seats in the waiting room filled with magazines and the TV is usually on, playing a movie, while you wait. read more

Large group of doctors...my doctor is great she is not in a rush to move onto the next patient...she takes her time to read over your chart and actually talk to you and recommend any extra testing and prescribe the necessary prescriptions to get you over the illness you came for originally... read more

What I liked most about this place was that they actually let me see the doctor on time!!! It was my first time and maybe I was lucky but you cannot find that at most physician offices nowadays. You end up waiting for 30 minutes even though you were appointed at a specific time. Anyways, I was able to speak to Dr. Le Thuy Tran and she was very professional. She was fluent in both Vietnamese and English. I'm a nursing student that had to get my paperwork filled out so I brought in all of my paperwork and she knew how to complete everything without a hassle. Read through my previous immunization sheet without a problem and took her time. I would schedule another appointment with her if I had a chance and would recommend her to my friends and family. read more

I have been going to this place for about 5 years now. Most of the time I have appointment, and wait around 15 minutes, which is decent. I never have problem with the staff, possibly because I speak Vietnamese. My PCP is Dr. Huan Le, who always seem to care for his patient. I never feel rush as he always listen and address my concern. I tried to refer him to my friends, but unfortunately Dr. Huan currently does not accept new patient, meaning he prefers to preserve time for his current patients rather than overextending his time for more money. read more

It's a nightmare dealing with the front desk staff. I've called a number of times and they will hang up on you mid sentence. I spoke to 2 different staff members and noted that they both had heavy accents, unprofessional greetings, and a tendency to hang up on you. I'd avoid this place/change PCP to another place. Inexcusable to keep staff like this when people are trying to get help. read more
