Of all the Asian grocery stores in this area, this one is so much neater, cleaner, organized and well stocked. The ever present "Asian Grocery Store Odor" is noticeably missing here, which is nice for a change. Even for this Canto Asian, the odor can become quite challenging for me is some of these grocery stores. Some of the negatives shopping this store are some really rude elderly patrons. I'm sorry if everyone else is patiently waiting for one of two open checkstands to process all the shoppers waiting to check out, please don't think I'm going to allow you to brazenly cut in front of me as if I'm going to kow tow and show some elderly respect/piety towards you. Also, I don't know if it's an innocent in nature or intentional by the cashier who rang up my three bags of bok choy, but she first bagged them all up in a plastic shopping bag, then weighed the produce for total sell price. I'm unsure if the scale automatically includes a tare weight (for the bag). Is this to scam the shoppers, or just the cashier trying to be efficient by pre-bagging my produce to save time before weighing. We're only talking about fractions of a cent, but that can soon add up with every weigh in of produce. Prices in here vary being lower or higher to other stores in the area.

Very big, clean & organized store with wide range of Asian items, including vegetables, meats and fresh & frozen seafoods. Big parking lot, and plenty of staff to help you. They also have post office and liquor store plus several shops &,foods stalls inside.

this grocery store has foods you'll see at other places but for like $1-2 cheaper on average. I love getting the pre-made drinks they have in the back, but yesterday I also stopped to get a dessert from the frozen section to bring back home--it was soo delicious!

This grocery store is otherwise called Thuận Phát and it's probably the largest and cleanest Vietnamese grocery store I know of as someone who grew up going to Vietnamese grocery stores. They have more varieties of fish sauce and rice paper (bánh tráng) than I have seen anywhere else. And they had samples of bánh bột lọc when I went today! The lady preparing it was welcoming and explained the vegetarian and meat options she had available to try. They have a huuuuge selection of items. The produce is fresh and abundant, with all the ingredients I need to make all the traditional Vietnamese dishes I want to make. It's also so convenient that they have prepackaged sets of vegetables for canh chua (sweet and sour soup) and precut vegetables like kabocha and bitter melon. They have a handful of containers of salted fish (mắm) too, which I have never seen laid out like that before, in any establishment. Recently, I was surprised to find some bottled instant nước mắm, which my mom is most curious to try. With a large parking lot and even larger selection of ingredients, I'll be back again as soon as I run out of the many, many things I purchased today.

This place is an Asian Disneyland! You can find so many things across many different Asian and some non-Asian Cultures. This is mostly a Vietnamese Store and is like a Costco in size. The Sriracha here was unlimited and was less than $5 a bottle. Give it a try and you'll be surprised at the selection.

The cleanest Asian market I've been to in the Westminster area. The store is huge, so the store aisles aren't crammed. They have a fish fry service that is perfect for my crispy fish spring rolls night.

Dayumn lunar new year decor goes crazy here. It's relatively cheap for vietnamese food basics like rice paper. I found new years candy for 1.99. The meat is a bit expensive (normal price), but I saw frozen shrimp for $3 a lb. They have the special new bae fish sauce by tway that the other ones don't have for 9.99. I got kosher salt and rock sugar for 1.99. The registers are an interesting round shape and tight but the aisles in the store have enough space. They accept credit card! But old fashioned so you sign on the receipt haha.

I always take the low ratings on authentic Asian supermarkets with a grain of rice; lol. Parking can be busy. People wandering around the lot could be questionable. Floors always look slightly dirty. Shopping carts look dirty and wobbly. Put that all aside and you'll find a lot of random gems. - $12.99 /lb for live lobster. We got a 3 lb guy! - So many fruits & veggies; jackfruit, melons, Korean pears, mangoes, plantains, etc. - Live fish you can choose - Dozens of brands of fish sauce, soy sauce, a full aisle of spices and DIY sauces to experiment with at home(!) - Asian cookies and snacks - So many teas!! I've picked up a few as well as the one cup cappuccino and thai tea mixes. (Prince of Peace is a solid brand!) - Aisles and aisles of dried rice noodles, wheat noodles, thick vermicelli, thin vermicelli, fresh rice noodles, ramen noodles...(Forrest voice) - I was impressed by how many meat alternatives there were in the frozen section. The faux bacon made me laugh. - Although this is a Vietnamese supermarket, they have many different Asian food items such as curry and mabo sauce mixed. It's such a nice variety and easy for a one stop spot. If you need to restock on your Asian spices & are in the area, this will fill your need.

This is the largest Asian supermarket near me in HB. They have lower prices for produce, seafood, and meat than mainstream grocery chains. Plus, they carry other veggies, meat cuts and offal that can't be found at chain grocers. Barring occasional sales elsewhere, their prices are usually competitive with other Asian markets in Garden Grove. Please let me know if there's another market that is consistently cheaper for meat and produce.

I liked the single-serve salmon portions, as well as ready-to-heat-and-eat meals that Amazon Fresh had. Someone recommended that I check out Wild Fork - also on Brookhurst (at Adams) - so off I went! I stopped by on an early Sunday morning - so luckily, the parking lot was practically empty, as was the store. Immediately upon entering I noticed how bright and clean the store was, wide aisles, everything was organized in its own little section. I started off on one corner and just browsed my way through. Nina - one of the store clerks here - chanced upon me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her it was my first time - and she took it from there! Extremely friendly, warm and welcoming - she explained the store's color coded system, pointing out the exotic meats section (they have alligator/crocodile here!!), beef - including wagyu, pork, sausages (they literally have two freezer sections of sausage/chorizo), meals/appetizers, and my favorite section - seafood/fish. After I shared with her my sadness over Amazon Fresh closing - especially because I liked their single-serve salmon portions - Nina pointed out their salmon offerings, and mentioned that their salmon portions are also single-serve, flash frozen (so they stay fresh longer) - but showed me how they were individually wrapped within their own packaging. I picked up a few salmon entrees based off Nina's recommendations, and my own tastes. I know a few people have raved about their frozen pasta meals - so I grabbed a few of those boxes too. Checkout was a breeze - Nina helped me at checkout and shared that the store occasionally has BBQs on the weekends. Wild Fork is definitely a new favorite - hoping to come back and check out the other offerings depending on how everything I bought turns out! Awesome service and introduction to a new customer - thanks, Nina!

It's a big supermarket with a wide selection of Asian groceries, fresh produce, and especially seafood. I usually come here to buy lobster and crab when they go on sale, since the prices are pretty good compared to other places. I don't really come here often though, mainly because of the strong fishy smell inside the store. Every time I leave, I feel like the smell sticks to my clothes, which I don't really like. Also, it can get very busy and the checkout lines are usually long. The staff at the front can also be a bit hit or miss in terms of friendliness. Parking can also be a bit difficult sometimes since this whole area has a lot of different businesses, so it gets crowded pretty easily. Overall, it's still a convenient place for good seafood deals and Asian groceries, but I mostly just come when there's a sale on lobster or crab.

I noticed other customers approaching staff directly for assistance, so I eventually did the same. The employee behind the counter selected four beautiful salmon steaks for me. However, while packaging them, the bag split open and all four steaks fell onto the floor. The employee quickly picked them up and took them back behind the counter. It appeared that he attempted to rinse them off and package them to sell to me anyway. When he brought them back, I asked, "Didn't those salmon steaks just hit the floor? Could you please get me four new ones?" His response, said quietly under his breath, was, "Oh, you saw that." He then selected four replacement steaks, weighed them, and labeled them for purchase. I was very disappointed that anyone would attempt to sell food that had fallen on the floor. That experience left a very negative impression and made me question the seafood department's food handling practices. The rest of my shopping experience was fine, and the highlight of my visit was one of the restaurants inside the store--a boba and milk tea shop. The service there was excellent, and I had one of the best yogurt and pumpkin milk teas I've ever tasted. That positive experience is the reason I'm giving three stars instead of one. They have their own seafood and meat counter with number tags where you can ask them to clean or cut fish, plus a small deli to go section. I also noticed their delivery vehicle outside that says wholesale, so it seems like they also supply restaurants in the area. Overall it feels like a neighborhood market that also does some wholesale business. The fresh section looked clean and there was no strong smell. I happened to see ground pork on sale for $2.49 per pound. The regular price was $2.79. Of course I had just paid $3.99 per pound earlier that day at 99 Ranch in Irvine because I wanted convenience. While we were there, a Vietnamese lady next to us was buying a big pile of meat and seafood and chatting with us while waiting for it to be cut. She said she always shops here.
