Hawaiian pizza by the slice. Yum!
    MJ D.

Quick good pizza by the slice with several varieties. The employee at the counter was friendly, and helpful as it was our first visit. The bathrooms were ok- they were stocked and fairly clean. Overall, it is a comfy, family friendly, casual environment. An added bonus is that it is relatively inexpensive. I would come here again for a return visit!

We were coming back from a long backpacking weekend of burning calories and eating freeze dried mush and arrived to the ferry early. Well well, whatever shall we do?! The husband and I looked at each other and immediately knew pizza was in order to help replenish those long lost calories. Westside locations are always great for having gluten free options and the pizza here was no let down. The husband ordered me a pesto with all my favorite toppings and I'm sure I resembled a wild animal protecting it's prey as I dove in. The person working the register was helpful when ordering, the food was great, and they had gf options. This will definitely be our Kingston take out spot after long camping and backpacking trips on the peninsula.

How I heard of this place: Years ago, my in-laws were visiting, and while on Bainbridge Island, my father in law offered to treat us to a "cheap lunch" at Westside Pizza. Waiting in the ferry line on this visit, we ventured into the town for a bite to eat and came across this new (to us) pizza place again. Type of cuisine: Pizza. Ambiance: This location resembled a pub, bar-like quality with an order counter - complete with warming slices display - and dark seating area. The space looked relatively large from the counter, as was the kitchen space behind the register. It felt like what you would expect an old school pizza place to look and smell like. Not bad, nothing special, but serving good pizza. What I ordered: Just a quick bite before our ferry ride, we had two slices of pepperoni pizza and two slices of cheese pizza. What I loved: The pizza was greasy, tasty and full of topping! Why I loved it: Friendly staff, an easy vibe and yummy treats. Cost: Average

Not the best pizza I have ever had, but this place is getting a 4 star review out of me because of its convenient location and great deal. We were on our way home about to take the Kingston to Edmonds ferry. We paid and parked our car in the ferry line and walked to Westside Pizza from the waiting zone. So location wise, it is perfect for the ferry crowd. We got there at 2:30, just in time for their $5 flat deal of - 2 slices and a drink. I got: - a slice of the Westside pizza for Cody - a slice of Pineapple bacon for myself Again, not the best pizza ever. But for $5, it was a great snack to hold us over while waiting for the ferry! (I gave my pizza crust to our dog:))

    Big Kahuna

Ordered a big kahuna, it was a bit pricey for a medium pizza but easily enough food for two people and it was delicious!

No more $5 lunch deal as advertised. Mediocre pizza & service. Go to Sourdough Willys or The Slab instead!

Came in for the $7 for 2 slices and bottomless soda deal we saw on the street. Can't beat that! Pizza slices were warm and flavorful!

Bland pizza that has skimpy toppings... Think Dominos or ALFY'S quality. Not really worth eating a second time.

I absolutely loved the thick-crust Sicilian pizza! I ordered the 16-inch square BBQ chicken pizza,…read moreand the ratio of sauce to dough was perfect. Although there could have been a little more chicken, all the flavors were well-balanced and worked beautifully together. I especially enjoyed the addition of feta. The crust had an amazing sourdough flavor. I love that they use such an old sourdough starter and follow a five-day process--it really shows in the taste and texture. The pizza is also a great size and could easily feed four hungry people, or up to six people with smaller appetites. I visited on a Saturday and waited about 30 minutes for my takeout order, but that was understandable since the pizzas are made to order. The cashier was very friendly while taking my order. My boyfriend and I had our dog with us, so we brought the pizza to a nearby park with a gazebo and table, where we enjoyed a beautiful water view. The restaurant is conveniently located near the entrance to the Kingston ferry. It's no surprise that the chef has received awards for his pizza. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return specifically for trying his other pizzas!

Took about 35 min to get our pies The Gorgonzola pizza New York style was very tasty. The sourdough crust was fine but was not crisp. The smell of sourdough was very light. Overall good pizza but not better than what you would get in a New York pizzeria The NY style deep dish was a different story. The sourdough crust and the smell was coming through well. Unfortunately the sauce wasn't enough and the toppings were minimal. Was less of a pizza and more of a flatbread. The bottom and the edges were crisp to perfection Service was friendly and the staff did a great job answering questions. If you are in a hurry grab a slice or two from their ready to go section. If you are riding a ferry be prepared to factor in about an hour for a fresh pie. Also not sure if they use electric ovens for the pizza at the takeout versus the restaurant that has a wood fired oven. That would make a great deal of difference on the end product Overall I wasn't disappointed but certainly wasn't satisfied with all the hype around the 132 year old sourdough starter. I can't say if that was worth the price but prepare to pay touristy location prices for your experience

The toppings are quite generous, and the sauce is ample. The crust holds everything together very well, but nothing to get excited about or to be upset about. They're able to take an order and turn your pizza around very quickly. So I like that I don't have to wait. It is not pizza that you would go out of your way to go inside of the casino to get unless you're already there. Once upon a time the Pepperoni, the Meat Lovers, and Chicken Bacon Ranch were my favorites and I would drive 70 miles for them. Now the Pizza Stop has moved off the casino floor and into a pizza and sweets setting. The menu appears the same pizza wise with a ten to fifteen percent increase in price, no surprise here. The sad part is the pizza ingredients seem to have shrunk, from the application of the sauce, sprinkling of ingredients, to the limited layers of cheese. What was once a great deal for great pizza is now just a mediocre pizza for a greater price. I can understand inflation and corresponding prices, but nothing was improved with this move.
