We were coming back from a long backpacking weekend of burning calories and eating freeze dried mush and arrived to the ferry early. Well well, whatever shall we do?! The husband and I looked at each other and immediately knew pizza was in order to help replenish those long lost calories. I ordered $176 worth of food delivered for my 3 grandkids. ALL of the food was OVERCOOKED AND BURNT! The pizzas were horrible. The cinnamon bread was so hard. The pasta was burned black! Worst of all was the conversation with the manager Seth. I told him about the food being way over cooked, and told him my knee had gone out and cannot drive. Thus the delivery. Seth said they cannot send out new food. I'd have to bring in the BAD FOOD so I could get a refund or a re-order!! I told him my situation and he would not deliver!! One day, the family and I decided to catch a ferry to Kingston, drive to La Push, and come back the same day. After a day of fun, we rushed back to Kingston to catch the ferry to Edmonds. We were doing our best to catch the 10:10pm boat. My son and I ran in, explained our situation and asked what they thought about getting a pizza. The staff members were friendly and very honest about estimating how long it would take. They were very fast and I was grateful to have a pizza as opposed to trying to feed my family on the ferry or worse, waiting until we got to Edmonds. The pizza had good flavor but was slightly greasy. There was good texture to the crust and that cheese pull was amazing! I have never liked the pizza from Westside Pizza. They were in my town in a small little Shack for a number of years. Then they disappeared. Then they came back in a brand new beautiful restaurant with ample seating and a great Ambiance. But their pizzas are still not that great in my opinion. The thing is in Kingston, which is where I live, there are about four pizza shops to choose from. On that list Domino's is at the bottom, with Westside Pizza as runner-up. Truly second to the bottom. But I do like that it's close to the ferry, that they deliver if you like their Pizza, and that they have things for gluten-free individuals as well. It's not just their pizzas I don't like but I don't like their wings either. And it's unusual for me not to like wings. Not bad! First time taking the ferry and we were super happy to have an hour to kill before the next one. We thought pizza would be most convenient so we ordered a medium pepperoni and olive and ate it there. Cool place! Some cool card and board games to keep kids occupied. Our 3 year old found a game he really enjoyed. So much so that we ordered it on Amazon the next day. Spot It I think it's called. Kept him busy the whole time while mommy and daddy ate. Our son, possibly the only kid in the world, hates pizza. He took a few bites and actually liked it and gave us hope for him. So that's a great sign. Pizza wasn't mind blowing. But it was good. As good as pizza hut. And way better than the pizza we had in Victoria. The crust was worthy of eating which is also another good sign. No one likes tasteless cardbord pizza. If we ever get stuck waiting for the ferry again, we will probably make this a tradition by stopping here. read more

A great classic pizza joint. The salad was cool and crisp and the "Death by Pizza" was amazing. I would put it right up there with one of the best pizzas I have had. My brother and I were heading back from hiking in the Olympic National Forest and found ourselves getting a bit hungry will waiting for the ferry to arrive. We ordered a medium westside pizza for pickup so we could eat in the car as we waited. The order was estimated to take 15 min - perfect timing since our ferry was to arrive in 20-25 min. As we were paying for the pizza, we saw the ferry pull up to the dock. Such great timing! The pizza reminded me of Pizza Hut, but in the best way possible. My bro was particularly a fan of the crust.
