    Smoked salmon dip
    Anita J.

Came here on a Friday early afternoon for a quick bite before a different engagement in the area. The space is quite large and our party of 2 was able to be seated right away. Most of the tables are 2 tops with some 4 tops and also bar seating. Decor was all decked out for Halloween We tried their espresso martini - it has a Spanish brandy in it so the end taste was interesting. It was good though Their food menu was a bit different from what we'd anticipated based on prior reviews so it seems they're constantly evaluating their menu. We tried their latke waffles. Really crispy outside, soft inside. It came with sour cream, apple sauce and we ordered the additional smoked salmon dip. The salmon dip was excellent. Overall, it was a good experience, 4/5. There was some miscommunication as the menu wasn't clear - the salmon dip is not an extra $8. Rather, just the Latke waffles with the salmon dip (no sour cream and apple sauce) is $18 (not sure how $11 + $8 = $18). Also, when paying the check, their POS system way overcalculated the tip (ex. 20% tip amount was actually 25%). Not sure if it's because they adjusted our check for the latke confusion but strange either way.

Cute spot in Dumbo. Nice natural lighting. Kid friendly. We ordered the pancakes and the smash burger. The burger was quite good as were the fries. Service was good. You must remember this is Brooklyn so don't expect super fast service. Pack your patience. Would def return.

Well let's start with super friendly and welcoming service. Thank you for brightening my day. This hip spot has a lot going for it. Lots of simple eats/bar snacks -/ but an awesome double smashed burger with Smokey ketchup and bright sauce. I asked for salad on the side and skipped the tempting fries. I've heard their crispy fish taco rocks as does their chicken sandwich. Worth leaving the heart if dumbo and head toward Vinegar Hill - near Jay-Z s childhood home. Also they host a taco Tuesday... I will be back!

It is a bit of a trek, but it was well worth it. Trendy bar in a trendy area and I really liked the vibes. Went late on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy, and got to pick any seat. Really, I came here for the caviar. It comes with the most amazing latke waffles and a creme fraiche sauce -- definitely the star of the show. Drinks are also really good too -- I would recommend the frozen Miami Vice. So dangerously good. Service is a bit slow, but we were there to enjoy and chill, so as long as you're not in a rush, you'll be good.

Nobody Told Me in DUMBO is that spot. Everyday happy hour, bomb oysters, and cocktails that actually taste good. The vibe is cute, low-key, and perfect for catching up or posting up solo. Honestly one of the best happy hours in Brooklyn. Don't sleep.

Open late, excellent smash burger, nice rhubarb cocktail, good vibe. Comfy booths and big windows.

Nobody told Me is a relatively new addition to the Dumbo neighborhood. Came here for brunch but ended up ordering their crispy fish tacos. The tacos were really nice, with a somewhat spicy mayo, crunchy cabbage, and a sliver of avocado tucked inside. They boasts a stylish and lovely décor, complete with a nostalgic touch--an old-fashioned public telephone. The employees were welcoming and polite. Overall, about 4 stars.

Came here for Happy Hour and this place seems to be pretty popular. Place was quite busy after 5pm on a weekday. Menu is small but has a decent selection of drinks. Great ambiance -- trendy. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which also came with fries and it was HUGE. The fried chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Fries were also pretty good.

It's tucked a few blocks away from the touristy area of DUMBO in a more residential area. It's a cool spot when in the neighborhood to grab a drink or two. It has a hipster and trendy vibe with fluorescent and dim lighting all around. I like the rope light centerpiece, which is a cool feature. We came just for a drink as I had the Copy of a Copy ($18) while my friend had the Pornstar Martini ($18). The drinks a standard with a bit of a twist as there's some fun ones on the menu. Nothing too special overall, but great vibes over in this side of town.

The burger. Believe the hype. This burger has the top-notch ingredients and char of a first-class burger, with the compact, two-patty juiciness of Shake Shack and the special sauce and toasted bun of In-N-Out. The potato bun is also buttered. The patty itself is so delectably season and the whole thing is this juicy, creamy, cheesy amazingness. The fish tacos are also pretty good and our waiter was the kindest. That burger though... damn. 5 stars!!!!

Sat outside and had a wonderful little lunch. Fish tacos were perfection and the burger was great! Nice and shady mid day which was just what we needed on a hot day in May!

A very great new addition to Dumbo's somewhat modest selection of good restaurants and bars. Yes, there are some good ones, but we wish we had a half of what Williamsburg can offer :) The Nobody Told Me bar is located on Front & Bridge Street between DUMBO and Vinegar Hill. We liked their food. We ordered crispy fish tacos, daily oysters and some drinks. The burger was huge with cabbage salad and a lot of spicy mayo. I can definitely recommend their house fries. Everything was good or even excellent. The place is cozy and the staff was very kind and helpful. Welcome to our neighborhood and Happy New Year!

Came here on a Friday night with 2 friends. The decor was cute and reviews were good so we decided to have dinner and drinks here. Unfortunately there was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant so service was terrible. I'm pretty sure he was also the host. We had to physically get up to go look for him a couple times. We ordered drinks and then food. Our food came way before our drinks. We got the eggplant dip, steak nachos, arancini balls, fish tacos, and ahi tuna tartar for the 3 of us to share. We also ordered 2 drinks each. My drinks were terrible, the espresso martini and the pornstar martini. I'm not sure which of the drinks my friends ordered but they said theirs were very bad too. Each dish was about $20 and each drink was about $20 so at the end of the night we spent $90 per person and it was the worst $90 I have ever spent. The fish tacos were extremely dry, barely any sauce. The ahi tuna tartar was too fishy and it said there was avocado included but we didn't get any. The steak nachos were the best thing we had here but unfortunately they only put stuff on the top nachos so the bottom nachos were bare. The eggplant dip was ok, nothing special, but not enough bread. At some point they turned up the music so we could barely hear each other. Also they sat a few people next to us who had a dog with them and my friend who's allergic to dogs was sneezing all night. Why is it ok to allow dogs inside restaurants? This place is just not it. I wouldn't come back here and I wouldn't recommend it.

I went on a Friday evening around 9:30pm. It was still fairly busy inside, but it was mostly people grabbing to-go orders. After ordering I snagged a spot at the counter. There's extremely limited seating, so I wouldn't bank on eating at the restaurant when it's busy. Be prepared to take your food to go. I got the Nene's Deluxe, which comes with a taco, a mulita, and an empanada - all with Birria of course. It was all delicious. The mulita was at the bottom of the box and got completely soaked with Birria. It was extremely messy to eat. Get plenty of napkins. I also got a side of fries and nacho cheese, because it was a long week and I deserved it. They had a seasonal strawberry horchata as well. This was okay. I also think I might just not love horchata in general. This meal definitely hit the spot. The Birria and consommé were top notch. I would return in a heartbeat.

The empanada was not like the usual closed off empanada, it was like open like a taco but instead of a taco shell, it was like the empanada dough. I didn't try the mulita yet but it was huge. Filling between two tortillas and I saw some guac filling as well. The consome was good! Not too salty - and has general pieces of meat inside the soup. The tacos were good but I felt like it lacked a little depth. I added some of the mango(?) it was a sweetish salsa and that gave it a nice little kick.

I felt dumbfounded! Nenes is something like the in n out of nyc. When my friend and I saw the storefront, the line was out the door. Many years ago back in LA, I had a mediocre cactus dish at a diner and never looked back. My friend went for a cactus mulita and I took a bite that turned into two more big ones. The cactus was crazy delicious with gobs of pull apart cheese, crispy browned edges, thick corn tortilla flavor, and spicy mango salsa, and pickled onion. When you come to nenes, you forget the line and wait. You transfigure into sheep and are happily a part of the herd.
