do not i repeat do not use westway service ! my truck was there 1 month and 2 weeks with nothing done. i had to physically drive to the dealership to get a hold of someone in the service dept because noone would return my phone calls. another 2 weeks went by and i received 3 different stories about what was wrong with my truck with price ranging from $4500.00, then $1200.00 then $1400.00 -$1500.00 they said they got my truck repairs confused with another truck same color. i finally had enough, picked up my truck to find the windshield cracked from drivers side to passenger side and up the windshield. they fixed nothing on my truck that has been in their shop 4 different times for the same thing, no cosideration to that the problem has never been found, they have filed thousands of dollars against my extended warranty, then attempted to file another $4500 against my extended warranty for the wrong truck. took no ownership of the damage done to my windshield. we have been customer's of westway ford for 25+ years and have bought many ford vehicles, we are ford retirees as well , we have referred numerous friends and family to westway, i will make sure they all know of the treatment i received and i will never set a foot back in this dishonest dealership ! their new service director is a complete joke as they have no experience in ford vehicles, they came from acura dealership. worst mistake ever was to get rid of their old service manager/director james. you have been warned stay away from westway ford ! **this is a 0 star review!!!** read more

I've have been going to Westway Ford since I moved from San Antonio back I 2020, where I've ALWAYS taken my Mustang to McCombs Ford West where I have NEVER had an issue getting an oil change for ANY of the Shelbys I have owns. In the beginning I had no issues with oil changes because I always dealt with Lisset. Apparently there has been a lot of turn over because she left and there were a lot of "kids" working in the quick lane. On TWO occasions I was told they didn't have the oil filter for my vehicle, a 2018 Shelby GT350 and it had to be ordered. The second time I was told that, they didn't bother to tell me until AFTER they finished and I had to bring it back. Today I called and told them I needed to make sure they have an oil filter for a 2018 Shelby GT350, the female said she had one there (she also verified the vehicle by my phone number). I drive there and after an hour of waiting I was told by my service consultant Lakia that apparently the female who I spoke with earlier LIED(these are my words) and apparently she DID NOT check to see if they had a filter!!!! I told her that I had just called to make sure they had a filter and she even sent me a email listing John Witt (I have no idea who he is) as the advisor. Lakia told me that they would have the filter around 230 but by that time I was UPSET AND WANTED MY VEHICLE!!!! I really appreciated Lakia's understanding and the ONLY reason I am going back is because of how professional she was. The way they deal is ridiculous they slapped an additional $12,000 markup on my Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid truck which I ORDERED almost 6 months back, I doubt that they care even slightly about customer satisfaction. The Salesperson, Manager and I think there director Ryan none wanted to make a deal in fact he came to me and Just said he cant make things work and felt. It's best to steer clear of them at all costs if you're in the market for a new vehicle. From the instant I stepped foot into the dealership, a strange discomfort settled within me. Without delay, I inquired about the markup on the truck, only to be met with a vague explanation from the salesperson regarding "market demand". Despite my efforts to negotiate the price, they adamantly refused to compromise. I tried negotiating with the dealer, but they were completely unreasonable and unwilling to make any kind of compromise. They were rude and dismissive, and it was clear that they had no interest in providing a fair deal to their customers. I felt like I was being scammed, and it was a truly horrible experience. To make matters worse, the salesperson I was working with was incredibly dishonest. They made promises that they had no intention of keeping, and they lied to me multiple times throughout the buying process. It was clear that they were more interested in making a quick buck than building a lasting relationship with their customers. Overall they are dishonest, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. I was lied too multiple times and the owner claims it was just a small mistake. If you feel as a customer being lied to is a small mistake then bring your business here. After the purchase of my new truck, I had to drive to the dealership multiple times because the staff members refuse to return calls or even do their jobs correctly. I was never given an introduction on my new truck or assistance with installing the tie downs that come with the truck. Customer needs is not a priority at this dealership. Made the trip from Oklahoma to purchase a used truck they had advertised on carfax. Got there and tried to sell it to me $3500.00 more than advertised. In finance you don't get any paperwork have to print your own. Since I couldn't read the fine print on a small iPad I purchased an extended warranty. After printing the paperwork I read what little the warranty covered so I called Berinice the following Monday to cancel the warranty and their negligence to turn in the cancellation for within the 30 day grace period it cost me $503.00 plus they had refund sent to them instead of sending it to the finance company. I left several messages for general manager to call me because he never answers his phone but never received a call. I had to get attorney involved to get money sent to finance company. Came in last month, and was so grateful for the assistance Christian Martinez took care of my Flex. I had a few concerns on my battery, brakes, yearly inspection, and my regular oil change. He was able to assess all my concerns and gave me the peace of mind of knowing my car was all good. Any other place or other rep probably would had me purchasing all new brakes and a battery. An expense that I saved. As for time, I dropped off that morning and the shuttle with Salvador(driver) to and from work was an added bonus. We brought our kids out during this whole quarantine thing, so my husband went inside to meet the guy while I sat in our car with the kids. The guy asked him to fill out some paperwork, and my husband TOLD HIM, we're just here to look at this car, *WE DO NOT WANT TO APPLY FOR CREDIT* since we're going to finance through our bank. This guy, THIS GUY, assured my husband our credit will not be pulled. While I'm still in the car with the kids, I get a notification from capital one there is a new inquiry on my credit report from Westway. SERIOUSLY??! First of all, my husband made it clear we did NOT want to apply for credit. Second, I did not sign a damn thing saying they COULD pull my credit. I called my husband, who was still inside, and told him they already pulled it. THE GUY told him oh don't worry, it wasn't a hard pull. (Come to find out, it sure as hell was, and our credit took a hit while we're in the middle of trying to repair it.) ANYWAY, after we were assured over & over our credit won't be affected, the guy says he'll go get the car so we can check it out. But wouldn't ya know it, the car we liked sold *just* that morning. Shucks. -_- So he brings out what he called a "similar" car that was over DOUBLE our budget and had none of the things we needed. Despite his best efforts to sell us this particular car, we got the hell out of there before one of us lost our temper. So we dragged out our young kids, waited in the car for an hour while Westway pulled (and ultimately impacted) our credit without authorization, for a car we didn't want and couldn't afford. read more

I was ultimately able to have this removed but being blindsided by a huge up charge was upsetting. Don't list a vehicle for one price online then increase it as soon as I walk thru the door. Sleezy. - The dealer did not fill up the gas tank of the vehicle purchased. Apparently used cars get 5 gallons and only new cars get a full tank upon purchase. Incredibly cheap move. - After I purchased the vehicle and had given them my trade in, I drove across town to provide them the 2nd set of keys for my trade-in. This was when I was told that I would not be getting a full tank. Had I know the dealer only provides 5 gallons of gas, I wouldn't have bothered. After getting my car serviced this past weekend for a new battery, I was blatantly lied to over the phone by multiple service advisors that my car was "being diagnosed" and that it would be available to pick up soon. I then get a call that they cannot find my car on the dealership lot. I went 2+ days without my vehicle and it was all due to their incompetence and neglect. We drove to Westway Ford from east Texas because we saw an F-350 on their website that matched everything we wanted, when we got there we found the truck and test drove it (window sticker matched exactly what the internet said). Once we went inside to deal with the salesman he informed us that there was a $20,000 market adjustment on the truck. I understand that there are market adjustments on trucks at some places due to the lack of new trucks being produced but that was obnoxious... not to mention the false advertisement not only online but also on their window stickers. We refused to pay it and the guy came back and said that someone else was coming to look at the truck that was willing to pay the prices (yet another lie, the truck is still on the lot). We got up and left... what a waste of our day driving all the way out there. The very next day we found a truck and bought it at MSRP. This place is the typical sleezy car sales lot... dishonest. This happened about a year and a half ago but I forgot to post a review and I just realized it. I didn't want Luke to think that we forgot (we stand by our word) so here it is. Hey buddy, still waiting on that call from the GM. Now that the deal is signed I can talk about the dealership my son used in Texas. We were blatantly clear on what our expectations of this deal were. This dealership was informed very early on that both my mom and I worked in a dealership and my mom has been in this business for years. Of course the salesman was super accommodating and we agreed to some terms that pleased us so we had paperwork sent our way, back in Indiana. When we received the paperwork we realized they snuck a $3700 warranty on it, $1200 in gap and $1000 road hazard package. We immediately called the finance guy, Luke Bosco, we informed him that we were not paying for gap insurance because our insurance company offered it for free, we did not need roadside hazard on a brand new vehicle and I'm still unsure of why they tried to sell us a huge warranty on a brand new vehicle. The finance guy got his panties in a wad and told us he would deal with it tomorrow. We received a call from the new car manager stating that he would remove the gap, the roadside hazard, and he would drop our warranty to 2200 (still didn't want it). We then received another call from the finance guy (Luke Bosco) who stated that if we removed all of those things he would drop our trade-in value back down to somewhere around $15,000 instead of the $18,000 that our paperwork now shows. I called him and told him that was absolutely unacceptable and offered to return the car and pick the truck back up. I also told him again that I had worked in a dealership and I knew that he was playing games with me. He continued to argue with me until my mom, who has been at a dealership for over 30 years, joined the call with us and told him how dirty what he was doing was and that it was illegal in Indiana and she was telling us not to sign the paperwork knowing that what he was doing was illegal here no matter what was legal in Texas (still not sure it is legal there but I don't care). After 15 minutes of arguing (I have nine minutes of that recorded) we decided we were done dealing with him and we wanted to speak to his GM. We told him that he would put the original deal back in place , give us the money that was offered originally and printed on the paperwork for the trade-in and drop all of the back-end things including the warranty down to 2200. He told us several times that we could come to an agreement without getting his GM involved. My husband finally told him if he didn't give us what was promised in the beginning that he didn't need to call us back and we would need a phone call from the GM. My husband got a phone call from the new car sales manager which is not the GM (worked at a dealership, we aren't stupid) telling us we could either accept their terms or we could return the vehicle (already offered to do that so that's not a threat Chief). He was trying to tell us that we would drop 5K in the "service package" as he called it, off of the original contract and they would take $3000 away on our trade-in (why does the original terms change because we refused to buy add-ons ) and my son's payment would go UP (when asked why they were taking so much money off but adding on so much less why the payment will go up, no one had an answer except the bank needed it to look that way on paper). We agreed to the terms only so our son did not have to give his car back that he had been driving around without any signed contract for 7 days, he was in Texas for school so he needed a ride. He also told us that it would be illegal for them to adjust our interest-rate but we were quoted at an interest rate 0.5% LOWER than the paperwork showed, he never could explain that either. He consistently stated that my son had agreed to a certain set of terms knowing that he was doing all these add-ons but he could never produce the piece of paper with his initials on it that showed that and Luke swore he had "somewhere". The problem is I was buying the new Mustang not my kid so he couldn't agree to anything. We finally had to sign a contract $1200 over what should've been because our kid needs a car but he told us it was no big deal, just call the following day and cancel that warranty to get our money back so that's exactly what I did. I still have the video recorded on my phone (I found it today and it reminded me I needed to send the review). After all of this went down they called us a week later and told us that if we didn't plate the vehicle in Texas that we couldn't have the interest-rate that we signed on and we couldn't have some of the deal that we had worked out. Seems like there's plenty of poor reviews for this shop already, but why not add another. Service is rubbish, responses are non-existent, very shady/transactional crew here. I purchased a truck that was advertised as having leather seats. Upon discovering they were seat covers, the sales manager (Gerson Gomal, who I assume no longer works for Westway since he's been radio silent) informed me that the dealership would simply cut a check to cover the cost of having leather seats installed. After stating this info to me in writing I was no longer able to get ahold of Gerson and reached out to the GM. The GM informed me that he would not honor this agreement, however he did offer to buy-back the truck for what I paid + the cost of leather seat installation. I assume the GM wanted to take advantage of the increased value of used vehicles due to the semi-conductor/shipping shortages and new he could RE-sell my truck for much more than I paid. If not, he shouldn't have had any problem cutting the check for the leather seats as it's a wash from a cash-outlay stance. To wrap things up I'll just say steer clear of the Westway muppets, not the brightest guys, but have to give them props on their opportunistically deceitful approach to business. Called about a truck that was posted on their webpage with an advertised MSRP. Called and talked to a salesman and told them I'd take the truck. Got ready to leave a few hours later and called to make sure the truck was still available, at the advertised price. The salesman wasn't sure about the price so he needed to ask his manager. He got back to me and told me that his manager wanted him to let me know that the vehicle I wanted (a pickup truck) was hard to come by, and there would be a premium added of $10-15 thousand over MSRP, but he wasn't sure exactly how much until I came to get it. Needless to say, I told them to shove it! That's the worst case of bait and switch false advertisement I've ever seen. The sales person James called us about a new mustang Mach e and we exchanged calls and messages today and we mentioned that we were on our way to look at the car after he told that its better to come and visit the showroom instead of discussing the prices on the phone. He didn't give us a price on the phone or text but wanted us to come here to discuss the prices. We took a cab from Plano to Irving. We waited for him to show up and after he sat us in and took our information for like 5 -8 mins he asks that we were also interested in another car other than the Mach E. And we thought he was asking this information to put on the paper but Then he tells us that Mach E was sold out. He knew we were here for that car He tells us that it was sold out after sitting us in and filling the information and asking if we were interested in the other car? He should have told us the moment we talked and apologized that that Mach e we were interested in was sold out!! He wanted to make a sale that's all and don't care about our time or have the minimum sense to respect us! We asked to meet with the manager but he didn't show up for more than half n hour and we are really pissed out the way the customers are treated around here. We feel so bad to be treated this way! We would have looked at the other options if he was nice enough. We would never ever buy a ford. They just lost a customer I personally do not recommend anyone to go buy at this location at least! My partner and I had been searching for weeks in hope to find "the right van" when we came across our ford econoline. Our first major commitment as a couple, as you can imagine we were extremely excited. We had found the van online and called to asked if they were able to hold it for an hour or 2 so we would have time to drive and see it. They agreed. Half way there I get a call stating they actually don't have it in the dealership and it would be about 1-2 weeks before it arrived. We took a leap of faith and went anyways to sign paperwork. The price and mileage of the van was too tempting to pass up. The days passed, I would call in/text asking if they had a set day it would arrive. None was given, finally they said it was out of there control. Hesitant, we tried to understand. The final day of the second week, I called questioning where our van was, again they had no clue. I asked where they were shipping it from, they had no clue, I asked why it was taking so long, they had no clue. They told me give it 3 more days. The next day I got a call saying it was there but we couldn't pick it up till tomorrow because they have to do an inspection/detail the car which was fine. The morning after, We lived 45 away so I called again to clarify there was nothing left to be done but sign some paperwork. I was reassured there wasn't. We get there and asked where it was, the manager Jose said it still had to go through inspection and get detail. Even though that was what we were waiting on the day before AND why I called ahead of time due to both of us having work later that evening. Anyways we shake it off, we were just happy to finally have it. We get through paperwork fairly quickly and all that left to do was wait on the car. 2 hours later they bring it out. It was DIRTY. They failed to clean the inside, there was trash, dust, seats were stained. This whole time that was what they were suppose to be doing. We complained to the manager, I stated "you told me this would be done already, it wasn't which is why we were waiting for so long and it's still not done, I'm not trying to be a b***h but..." and he promptly responded with "yeah you are" and laughed. I was in complete shock, kidding or not. So they took it back AGAIN and had it detailed. Came back and hour later and it still wasn't up to par. At this point we were frustrated and explained we couldn't stay longer to get it cleaned due to work. He reassured I could bring it back anytime and have it detailed again. We part our ways and that was the end of that day. We get a call a couple days after saying some of our paper work was filled out properly. Again we live 45 minutes away so it is a bit inconvenient however we gotta do what we gotta do. We get there and they say they don't have anything for us to sign there that it's our financing guy in the main building. So we go over there and he has ZERO clue what they're talking about. We had nothing to sign. Manager promising to fill up our gas for the inconvenience however doesn't in the midst of the confusion. So again we leave frustrated waisting our time. Our license plates come in, so we head there to have them put on, perfect timing because we logged in that day for the first time to pay our bill and noticed a 2,000 added fee to our original price. We confronted our financing guy and got a break down of everything. Got to the car, upset to find the fee was for cleaning & dealership. Confused we again spoke to the manager, and was told it was to help towards detailing the car and that it was just a fee they require. THEY DIDNT EVEN CLEAN THE CAR. So at that point it was laughable. Being gullible 22 year olds, they flew by the paperwork, told us where to sign and we did so. Not really going into detailed when we did have questions. So we bite the bullet and they sharked us. But then we noticed that the price we saw online, wasn't even the price we signed off for. It was off by a couple hundred. Which isn't a significant amount, however was disturbing because the manager had no explanation for it. Already frustrated about the BS 2000, the unprofessional staff, the lack of knowledge and chaotic atmosphere, we just left.
