This place is a scam and should be shut down. Had a "new" 2024 Edge priced online at $28k after all the rebates. I asked multiple times if that price was legit before driving 2 hours to the dealership. I was told yes every time. I get to the dealership and go to drive it. There's a dent in the door and it had over 2,000 miles on it because it's a demo which was not told to us. When the actual price was given to us it was marked up $7k for add on's which consisted of tinted windows, wheel locks, door edge guards, and Zaktek guard that's supposed to protect the interior yet it was leather so not sure why it would have been needed. None of this was disclosed to us until they had already ran our credit and wanted to come back with a $900 a month payment. They are dishonest and the most crooked dealership I have ever done business with. We left and went to Grand Prairie Ford and bought one with 2 miles on it for $28k and that same package they had for $7k was $1295 and was also clearly marked on the sticker. The one Westway had conveniently had the sticker ripped off of it. Avoid this place at all cost! read more

I contacted this dealership to inquire of a 2024 F-350 they had listed online for $96,650 MSRP. When I contacted the dealership they did not disclose the $4995 dealer add on's for this truck. I attempted to work with Chloe the salesperson. I contacted them on 02/06/2024 to attempt to purchase said vehicle. I asked if I could secure the vehicle prior to my travel to texas to finalize the purchase. Ryan the sales manager told me he would not run my credit and wanted to wait until I arrived to do so. I explained that I was not coming down from out of state until I knew that I purchased the truck. He told me he would run some numbers and call me back. Ryan never called me back. I called the dealership three hours later and I was hung up on three times. I then texted Chloe back to find out what was going on. I heard back from her four hours later that she fell asleep and that Ryan didnt want to run my credit until later this week. I asked for a straight answer and a final price. I then received a list of the pricing the next morning and it included the incorrect sales tax and the $4995 dealer add on's. I asked for a breakdown in add on's and was once again ignored by Chloe. I called the dealership and when I asked to speak with the GM I was sent to Ryan. I confronted him about the fact he never called me back. All I asked for was a detailed breakdown for the add on's. He told me it was a bed liner and window tint and that was the price. I spoke with a reputable dealer here in colorado who informed that this is what unethical dealerships are trying to do to buyers due to the demand on these vehicles. Please be aware if you are in the market for a F-350 this seems to be the new scam. If this dealership was reputable they would of treated a buyer with much more respect and honesty. I never would of thought a truck of this price would of been such a hard buy. They have decided to try to scam buyers due to the demand. I never felt like they wanted my business to start with perhaps I was too keen to the scam to get anywhere. They added $5k worth of "options" on the truck (it's a 2020) if the truck is so clean why would it need $5k worth of "options". Sales managers are very deceitful. They lowballed my trade I've been to 4 other Ford Dealerships this past weekend and they gave me the lowest bid by $3k. They act like they're doing you favors but when you say no they turn into the rudest people ever. This happened about a year and a half ago but I forgot to post a review and I just realized it. I didn't want Luke to think that we forgot (we stand by our word) so here it is. Hey buddy, still waiting on that call from the GM. Now that the deal is signed I can talk about the dealership my son used in Texas. We were blatantly clear on what our expectations of this deal were. This dealership was informed very early on that both my mom and I worked in a dealership and my mom has been in this business for years. Of course the salesman was super accommodating and we agreed to some terms that pleased us so we had paperwork sent our way, back in Indiana. When we received the paperwork we realized they snuck a $3700 warranty on it, $1200 in gap and $1000 road hazard package. We immediately called the finance guy, Luke Bosco, we informed him that we were not paying for gap insurance because our insurance company offered it for free, we did not need roadside hazard on a brand new vehicle and I'm still unsure of why they tried to sell us a huge warranty on a brand new vehicle. The finance guy got his panties in a wad and told us he would deal with it tomorrow. We received a call from the new car manager stating that he would remove the gap, the roadside hazard, and he would drop our warranty to 2200 (still didn't want it). We then received another call from the finance guy (Luke Bosco) who stated that if we removed all of those things he would drop our trade-in value back down to somewhere around $15,000 instead of the $18,000 that our paperwork now shows. I called him and told him that was absolutely unacceptable and offered to return the car and pick the truck back up. I also told him again that I had worked in a dealership and I knew that he was playing games with me. He continued to argue with me until my mom, who has been at a dealership for over 30 years, joined the call with us and told him how dirty what he was doing was and that it was illegal in Indiana and she was telling us not to sign the paperwork knowing that what he was doing was illegal here no matter what was legal in Texas (still not sure it is legal there but I don't care). After 15 minutes of arguing (I have nine minutes of that recorded) we decided we were done dealing with him and we wanted to speak to his GM. We told him that he would put the original deal back in place , give us the money that was offered originally and printed on the paperwork for the trade-in and drop all of the back-end things including the warranty down to 2200. He told us several times that we could come to an agreement without getting his GM involved. My husband finally told him if he didn't give us what was promised in the beginning that he didn't need to call us back and we would need a phone call from the GM. My husband got a phone call from the new car sales manager which is not the GM (worked at a dealership, we aren't stupid) telling us we could either accept their terms or we could return the vehicle (already offered to do that so that's not a threat Chief). He was trying to tell us that we would drop 5K in the "service package" as he called it, off of the original contract and they would take $3000 away on our trade-in (why does the original terms change because we refused to buy add-ons ) and my son's payment would go UP (when asked why they were taking so much money off but adding on so much less why the payment will go up, no one had an answer except the bank needed it to look that way on paper). We agreed to the terms only so our son did not have to give his car back that he had been driving around without any signed contract for 7 days, he was in Texas for school so he needed a ride. He also told us that it would be illegal for them to adjust our interest-rate but we were quoted at an interest rate 0.5% LOWER than the paperwork showed, he never could explain that either. He consistently stated that my son had agreed to a certain set of terms knowing that he was doing all these add-ons but he could never produce the piece of paper with his initials on it that showed that and Luke swore he had "somewhere". The problem is I was buying the new Mustang not my kid so he couldn't agree to anything. We finally had to sign a contract $1200 over what should've been because our kid needs a car but he told us it was no big deal, just call the following day and cancel that warranty to get our money back so that's exactly what I did. I still have the video recorded on my phone (I found it today and it reminded me I needed to send the review). After all of this went down they called us a week later and told us that if we didn't plate the vehicle in Texas that we couldn't have the interest-rate that we signed on and we couldn't have some of the deal that we had worked out. Not Happy at all. We purchased a car on 08/28/2021 and did not take possession until delivery on 09/10/2021. After taking possession of the car we noticed that the open recall that was promised to be fixed during negotiations was not fixed at all. In addition, there as an immediate obvious rumbling sound when driving the car on the highway (we were directed to drive the car in a specific area that was residential therefore not getting up to highway speeds during the test drive). After reaching out to the salesperson Shelby and calling the dealership twice and receiving no resolution but now being left with thousands of dollars worth of mechanical damage, before we have even received license plates, I would recommend to never visit or purchase from this dealership. We took our F250 in for all new front breaks in March. Paid over $1,000 for the driver side calipers not to be tightened and a bolt came out. Since this was a terrifying experience, we had it moved to the closest auto shop to take a look. We paid another $1,000 for them to tell us that Westway Ford's Service Dept didn't tighten the calipers and it almost caused complete break failure. We went back to Westway Ford's Service department just wanting to be made whole and get the last $1000 reimbursed to us. We brought the notes from not only the shop we took it to, but the warranty company who said they wouldn't cover it because it was considered an "incomplete job" by Westway Ford. We spoke to the service drive manager on duty on Saturday, April 22nd who was very kind and understanding and said we would be made whole. He asked us to give them 3 days and took copies to show his superiors and accounting. Today the Service Manager told us that since it's been a month, we have traveled 10,000 miles on them, and I've didn't bring it to them to fix, they would not be giving us the money back. I purchased a truck from West Way Ford on the 29th of July 2021 from "Top Sales Man". He told me he would deliver it the following day. Today is now the 5th of August and I still have to truck. I am upset because if I would have known I would have purchased another vehicle as I really did need it immediately. I have reached out several times to the GM by phone/email only to be dismissed and given wrong email address. 08/29/23 Had my Ford Edge towed in to the Service dept. at Westway Ford (Irving) to run a diagnostic ($195) I explained to the advisor what the issue was and what was done to the car the day before (oil change , new oil filter and switch), but low oil pressure light is on and the car keeps stalling . I don't want anything else done to my car I just want the diagnostic ran that will tell them what is wrong with the car. 8/31/23- I received my diagnostic with "Needs Oil change, new windshield wipers, Cabin air filter, and front/rear brake pads. P0104 loss HS with PCM the car seems to have has water damage and wreck BUT Needs 2 more hours to see why the car keeps stalling for $390." So, I went to speak with service manager to ask why they did that instead of diagnosing what is wrong with the car which is what i requested. He didn't understand the notes from the tech and will talk to the master tech to see what he thinks. 9/1/23- Received a call from service manager late Friday afternoon that the master tech doesn't really know what is wrong with my car could be a loose wire or mod, but he needs $390 for 2 more hours but not guaranteed he will be able to find it in 2 hours so I could be looking at much more. The tech noticed when he turns my AC on it started my car. I said why wasn't that in the report. He said tech forgot to add that in there. I said so we are looking at a possible electrical issue. He said he wasn't sure. He would give me a few days to think about what I wanted to do with my car. 09/04/23 Fearing the worst I went to the used Sales dept. and spoke with Mauricio/Gilbert I let them know my car was in their service dept. I was thinking of trading in my car for one they had on the lot for $20K I filled out "guest sheet" showing my "interest in the car" and info about my car I wanted to trade in with how much I STILL owe on the car he said it wasn't an issue to trade in with still owing but he needed me to come back the next day when service dept. is open so they could give me an honest value trade in. 9/5/23 I came in at 9am did all the paperwork for the new car and GM "Kyle" asked what I wanted for my car since I still owe on it I said $3K he shook my hand and said "OK done deal." Mauricio came back with the used car being double + the amount. He wouldn't let me look at the finance paper, but wanted to tell me what was on it. He said he could mark off whatever I didn't agree too. I grabbed the paper. It had the wrong price for the used car, my trade in was WAY less than what we agreed on. also, added sale prep which was over $2K ! The used car was selling for $20k AS IS. They were trying to get me to sign a contract for over $40K after we had agreed on half that price, been told everything looked good, and that I was approved. An hour later he came back with Gilbert, and they told me they can't go forward with this deal that I still owe on my car, which everyone knew all along, and that they can't take that as a trade in. So, I walked out. They said they would see what they can do and call me ... Later that day I texted Mauricio asking for an update he said I would have to go up in payments if I wanted the car, I asked how much I never heard back from him. 9/6/23 I get a call from the service advisor asking if I knew what I wanted to do with my car. I said yes, I was on my way up there to pay for my car and tow it elsewhere. I don't want anything else done to my car. I let her and the cashier know I will be having a tow truck driver here tomorrow 9/7/23 to pick up my car is it ready to go? They both said Yes. Its ready to leave. 9/7/23 Tow truck arrives and called me to let me know my car doesn't look right and I need to come up there. I told him they were only doing a diagnostic... he said you might want to come up here and see this I got to the back lot and the inside of my car was completely stripped! Molding pulled, electrical exposed, tailgate interior removed and spare tire uncovered. It was impossible to find anyone that knew why this was done or anyone to repair the damage so I could tow my car. While I was able to argue long enough to get my useless $195 diagnostic refunded and finally get the interior reassembled, it took several hours of my day. Everything about this experience leads me to assume Westway Ford (Irving) are disrespectful, fraudulent and willing to dismiss, defraud and intimidate a customer. As a woman, there doing business alone, I felt very ill at ease and taken advantage of by a wall of condescending men. At this point - I feel Ford is incompetent, dishonest or malicious. Worst dealearship ever. Do not deal with them at all. I only found out a month after I purchased with them that they took the money from my MPP plan on my trade in and used it towards a down payment. They had no right to do so. On my purchase agreement it shows money there that accounts for it but they never told me where the additional dollars were from. I was never told or asked for my permission to use the money from the cancellation of my MPP plan from my previous vehicle to purchase this new vehicle. I went to Westway to lease a new Ford Mustang Mach E. I was told that I would need to make down payment of $15000, 84 month lease, and payments of about $1200. I was told that this down payment would pay off lease on my old Cadillac. Turns out, per Cadillac dealer, that I would need to pay them $13000 to pay off that lease, and that Westway had made no such arrangements to pay off the lease. I would have had to pay $28000, before making a car payment. This is a sleazy way to do business, and it is the kind of practice that gives car salesmen a bad name. A star, even a single one, would imply I have something positive to say... here is my response to a possible auto-email coming from Dustin Egbers, the GM after a horrific experience. I sent the email on July 28th... crickets as of August 5th. Dustin, I am a little surprised to hear from you. Let me explain why. On Friday 7/8, I was searching for used Jeep Wranglers on CarGurus. I noticed a Jeep you just received in inventory (think it came in the day prior - at White 2015 Jeep Sahara 4-door with approx 48k miles). I contacted your team to inquire if the Jeep was still in stock and one of your sales personnel, Alex Sarabia, promptly let me know it was still available and proactively sent me a quick video of the vehicle with him in the video... great way to build the relationship. I let Alex know we were driving from McKinney to see the vehicle. We texted on the drive and my wife and I arrived around 7pm. Alex did his due diligence to qualify that we truly were "in market" to purchase a vehicle... i.e. intent to purchase quickly, financial means and consideration that I would trade in a vehicle as part of the purchase. We text drove the vehicle with Alex. During the text drive, we noted several items: (1) badly scratched window tint on several windows (2) some wobble in the steering wheel when driving, and loose/loud right powered side step. We came back into the office and then spoke with the sales manager, Ray Delgado, that I would return Saturday morning with intent to (1) have your team value my trade in - 2016 xxxx (2) have my daughter view the vehicle (3) provide time for your team to perform the 152-pt inspection. (I was told that the vehicle just arrived and though detailed, it had not gone through inspection.) When we arrived Saturday morning (7/9), Alex did a great job meeting us and introducing me to your general sales manager, Chase Bradley, who pulled the VIN and inspected the xxx. I first met with the original sales manager, Ray, who tried to pull a fast one and attempted to add $1495 in "prep fees" to the stated online price of the vehicle and provided a low-ball trade-in value for the xxx (I previously told Ray that I had already run a KBB/CarFax trade in offer and had multiple offers for the vehicle at significantly higher value.) The $1495 "prep fees" almost had me walking out the door - pure "Shady Ray" . He then came back with a revised offer sheet which still wasn't close. A few minutes later, Chase Bradley walked back into the office and replaced the Ray. Chase and I had a good conversation and were able to negotiate a deal: (1) $40k trade-in value for the xxx - he stated AND knew he could immediately, with minimal prep, turn around and sell the xxx for $44,900 which would still be $1k-$3k below the rest of the market (2) I didn't ask for ANY discount to the list price of the Jeep (3) Chase agreed to fix the wheel wobble, retint the windows, and fix the loose right side automated step and (4) the deal was contingent upon me seeing the vehicle inspection report - supposedly it still wasn't done; no rationale buyer would purchase w/out seeing the inspection report - i.e. what if there were 4mm left on the brakes or something else??? I initialled the offer sheet and Chase and I had a handshake - well, really, a fist bump - on the deal. Chase stated that he had a xxx and that he was excited to have the vehicle hit his inventory. I left the dealership about noon (12pm) with Chase and Alex telling me that they would call me as soon as the vehicle inspection was done, and, that it could be Monday before the vehicle was ready b/c the window tint and other fixes could take a day. I heard nothing Saturday afternoon. No problem. I then sent an email to Alex Monday (7/11) a little after 1pm. I didn't get a response from Alex, but instead got a call a while later from Shady Ray. He stated that "we can't sell you the vehicle b/c there are $6k in repairs that need to be made to the vehicle. He couldn't, in good faith, sell the vehicle to anyone." When I asked what the specific repairs were and could he forward me the inspection report, he made a bunch of excuses, couldn't articulate what they were... just that his service shop told him there were issues. He promptly hung up. Where there is smoke, there is fire. I can smell BS and he stunk to high heaven of it. I waited for a couple hours, then, I (1) had my son call the dealership and (2) had a friend do the same thing.... feel free to pull your call logs from around 5pm Monday 7/11. They both inquired about the Jeep and were told, sorry, the Jeep has been sold. So... if you've read this novela... I ask the question... do you REALLY want my feedback? Or is this an automated nurture email that is triggered 6 days after I got an equally annoying email from an unsuspecting sales person, Daniel Gordon on 7/22. read more

Unfortunately, all the bad reviews are true. They started the markup with a price over $1,000 more than even the MSRP window sticker price, and $2,000 more than internet advertised price for that vehicle. Not only did they start with a price over MSRP and internet, they marked it up an additional $9,200 for options (excluding tag, title and tax). This vehicle (matching stock # and VIN) was advertised with these options at the lesser amount but they presented the increased price at the dealership charging for these options again. In summary, they first presented the out the door price of $42,000 when the internet price was $29,815 before tag, title and tax. I expected to pay a little more for fees but not $12,185 more. I also don't care if there is demand (which they attempted a $5,000 up fee for demand is what they told me). Let another leave the lot underwater on that vehicle. I'm happy to stay with mine or go to another dealer. No additional negotiation was needed at that point, I walked at $42,000+. Go to a dealer that wants your business, and that is legally transparent. I guarantee you will have the same experience as I and others did if you go to Westway Ford. read more

Scam! Bunch of unprofessional sale staff. The place has a beautiful Ford motor company history display theme but Ford should get rid of the dealership because their dishonesty. Went to test drive a Ford Maverick, was told they have few trucks to show me. At the parking lot the young salesman and his manager showed me a Ranger truck, and then an Escape hybrid. I reminded them again that I am only want to test drive the Maverick. I gave in and test drove the Escape. Not a bad car I thought but I told them I want to test drive and buy the Maverick. They then admitted to me that they do not have any Maverick and it is very hard to find one, asking me to come inside for the best deal of the Escape. $44K with all the options they told me. I asked to see the Ford Xplan price. The car has nearly $6500 dealer mark up such as stain safe guard seat, extra coating paint.... .... They then told me the car I drove has a recall so they pullEd out another car with the same package. Told them I worked for Ford 11 years as the Reliability Engineer and I would rather spend my money on Toyota or Honda for that price and get more reliable product. In the morning I realized that they did not give me back my driver license so I wasted 45 mins to drive back. At the front desk the receptionist showed me a stack of may be 50 " customer forget" driver licenses. Note I do not know if they use my license for other purposes overnight but definitely I do not forgot about it. She callEd the manager and he went to his office to get my driver as if nothing happened. They intentionally kept my license like keeping many others. Deeply disappointing. My daughter's first car purchase and they ruined it. Honesty isn't in their repertoire, neither is courtesy or client satisfaction. Found a car with Corday yesterday, told him this morning that we would be there at 3:00. Agreed on payment this morning, then he called her on her way there to tell her to hurry because someone else wanted the car. As we walked in they sold it. Then Corday did not even apologize, he just said we didn't put money down. Even the manager was rude. He said they didn't take deposits. So not sure if Corday or the manager was lying. Two weeks later, after he has been driving the car they say his loan did not go through with me as a co-signer and that they wanted me to be the primary signer. They told him they hit my credit twice. They actually hard hit my credit 8 times! For those of us trying to keep our credit scores good, this was BS. Why do they lie to people? New management is what they say but every thing about this dealership is officially awful. I'd give 0 stars if I could. The worst customer service you can find. It isn't scarcity because they have at least 20 people standing around talking at any given time. The terrible thing is I needed to purchase several vehicles and couldn't get one ounce of help. I took my GT500 in for an oil change, Ford recommends a specific 5W-50 oil for that car and I asked for that exact oil at the time of service. Watching the technician service the car, I noticed he was using 5W-40 oil, not the oil I asked for. The reason I take the car to a dealership is to get the oil Ford says to use. I pointed this out to the service manager who told me that's the oil they use. She then took me over to the cashier who charged me $140.88, about $40 more than I paid for the last service at another dealership. I questioned that price and she pointed out that I hadn't taken my car there since 2016 and prices have changed. My receipt shows the proper 5W-50 oil was used but the bottles were clearly labeled 5W-40. The reason they hadn't seen my car in a while is because the last time they serviced it they stripped 2 of my locking lug nuts and the oil pan drain plug. I'm not sure if it's just carelessness or incompetence but I can't take my car there again. read more

I was not let test drive a car after answering all of their questions regarding my occupation(they felt like I will not be able to afford that car), my credit score(which is Excellent) and they also want to run the credit check( that was more crazy for a test drive). Money in hand 750 credit score and they treated me like I didn't matter needless to say I went to another dealership locally and gave them my business. Have a truck on their website listed for 48k. Showed me a price on paper after the test drive and they had the trucks price at 55k after their bs fees no one cares about. KBB had the truck between 44-48k. I drove 3 1/2 after to this dealership to buy that truck. Guy would not drop the truck below 50k when I asked for nothing to be done to the truck or cared what they "say" they do to it. I recently had damage to a 2016 Mustang. Due to all the Hail where I live I took it all the way to Irving thinking a body shop at a Ford Dealer was a good idea. It was not. First of all the damage was to the paint and trim. No dents or collision. It did require that 75% of my car be repainted and several plastic pieces and windshield also be replaced. It took over 35 days to complete the work. The service advisor seemed afraid to call me as I asked him to, preferring to email me. Even when I asked him to call, not email, he emailed. Getting updates was like pulling teeth. Then, when I finally get the call that it is done I drive all the way there only to find upon inspection that the door handles were installed upside down on the wrong sides. I waited two hours for them to fix only to be told that the tech had a tool slip and scratched the door! Had to come back the next day. When I left I went to the dealer showroom, asked for the General Manager, and was assured by someone describing himself as a sales manager that the GM would call me. He took my number. Two weeks later and still no call. The paint job itself seems fine. It is the service, communication, and time that I have an issue with. Plus the detail people tried to clean up the car and they sprayed ArmorAll everywhere. They got it on the seats and steering wheel (which you should not do as it gets all over your hands and clothes) and they even hit up everything under the hood. I have never seen anyone Armorall an engine! Overall, a very subpar experience. I have bought 7 new Fords over the last 20 years and I can guarantee you I would never consider buying one at Westway and I would advise anyone considering service there to really think if they need it done in a timely manner they should consider somewhere else! read more

I found a potential new truck online at Cars.com it just happened to be at Westway Ford. I sent the inquiry through Westway Ford's dealer web page. The truck shown was priced at a fair price. Not a great price, but fair. At my age and experience, I know the whole car deal BS many dealerships try. It's really embarrassing and laughable. I crunched all the numbers online. I know what my interest rate will be with pre-approved financing at my credit union. So this isn't rocket science. I know exactly how much TT&L will be at 6.25%. What I don't know is the negotiated price of the truck or what they would give me for my trade in. I did explain that I was out of town on business and am working this weekend as well. So I dove straight in and asked...what is your very best drive off price for the truck. Gulp! The dealer "add-on" game. I'm not exactly sure who I was texting with. Because he said his name was David...but the name of the phone number was Daniel...my presence at the dealership has nothing to do with negotiating the cost of a vehicle. My trade in value will not change the price of your truck. But that's the game ALL dealerships play. The difference between trade in value and the price of the vehicle being sold is profit. But over $2000.00 in dealer add ons? Paint protectant, seat protectant? All vehicles have clear coat and fabric seats are already protected. This isn't 1980... Shameful practices for a higher profit. Working people like myself, I'll just keep driving my 2013 as it's paint is protected as well as the seats. And it's in pristine mechanical and physical condition.
