The worst dog bites from wetzel's pretzels I ever had. I purchased from this spot many times before. How can they sell burnt pretzels bites to customers? I left and drove home to find out all the dog bites are burnt. It's hard and dry. This is located inside Pleasanton mall. I purchased a cup of dog bites with cheddar cheese dip. This cost me $14.09. This eatery at Stoneridge mall was stacked with savory treats ready in the display case on Friday late afternoon. There was no wait to order, and service was efficient and friendly. I got the jalaroni twist (aka pepperoni & jalapeno pretzel), and it was soft and cheesy and tasted like it had just come out of the oven, one of the best I've ever gotten from Wetzel's, of the various locations I've been to. This Wetzel's Pretzels location is in the Stoneridge Shopping Center. There is plenty of shared mall parking. I usually go to their location on the second floor. Their pretzels are always warm and ready to go. I have tried a variety of their pretzels here, but I enjoy their original one the best (I prefer the unsalted one). Sometimes, I get their cheese dip for extra flavor, but it is not necessary, as their pretzels are tasty without it as well. read more

Dog bites: Nice crispy outside. Inside tastes like raw dough, still moist and stuff but i wouldnt worry about it. I've been here twice in the past 6 months or so. I do think the pretzels at this location are more buttery/oily than in others but I believe you can ask for a pretzel with no butter. Sometimes you just have a pretzel craving and this place has decently satisfied that craving for me. I will say though they have been slightly inconsistent the two times I went - while being very fast service wise each time, the first time the pretzel was almost doughy which was an interesting experience. While I do think other locations are probably better, I would come back if I'm in the area and wanting a pretzel! read more

We were going to come to Wetzel's pretzels for a plain pretzel, but they were out because it was national pretzel day. The manager asked us to stand in a special line and wait 15 minutes and we did that and we got a free pretzel. Undercooked, partially raw pretzels is not a way to keep customers coming back. I ordered a plain regular pretzel and Wetzel bites. The plain pretzel tasted doughy, so I spit out part of it and then examined the whole pretzel to see that parts of it were RAW. Ugh. I didn't discover this until we had left and there's a chance I ate some of it... The Wetzel bites, however, were cooked through thankfully as we had eaten some of those at the mall. Customer service was ok. Not the friendliest and very abrupt, but kind of expected. But I really hope that something is done for food safety reasons as raw dough can make you sick. First time coming here in years and it will be my last. read more

Came here and asked if they give a free item for my childs birthday, and the older lady behind the counter says I have to download the app 1st. So I did, and it took a while to download and sign up. All this for her to tell me no. I thought that was messed up to have me go through all of that for nothing. All of their food looked very burned anyway, unfortunately. read more

When I was younger, I didn't care much which pretzel spot I visited, as long as I got my fix. But over time, I've become a bit of a soft pretzel connoisseur, and now I won't settle for anything less than Wetzel's. Recently, I visited the Stoneridge mall location and found a line that was well-deserved. Patience paid off when I ordered their basic pretzel, which, in my opinion, needs no embellishments. Fresh out of the oven, it was slightly undercooked, likely because they continue to bake on a warming shelf, but it still scored a solid 10/10 for flavor. Wetzel's is my go-to pretzel place, and I haven't found anyone who can do it better. There's just nothing like enjoying a nice hot pretzel while you roam through the mall. I've been coming to this location for a few years, and it never disappoints, as it's one of the better mantained in the area, as well as the cleanest and the friendliest staff. On my last visit Linda made our experiece such a delight, as my nieces and nephew were taking forever on deciding what to get, yet she made it easier by suggesting, and making them feel comfortable ordering, making us feel welcomed with her sweet smile and outstanding customer service. The Jalapeño cheese dog is my favorite! The kids loved their pizza bitz and dog bites... Highly recommended! Kudos to her and her and her coworkers in this amazing location! It looked good but I think it had been made hours before hand so it wasn't as ftesh as should be and some parts were dry. Its tasted good for the most part but for sure could be better.
