We had a nice and relaxed experience for an off-season Saturday night dinner. There was live music playing and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good and from our experience, it seems like they switch their menu up often and offer interesting, inventive specials and desserts. I would go back (and order the French onion soup again)!

The family size portion of lasagna - enough for three people!!

Another five star experience here. I had the lobster dinner (which was much more reasonably priced than their neighbors) with better sides too (corn on the cob and mashed potatoes). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plus the ambience is delightful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Christine, our waitress was excellent. We were ordered just an app and some chowder and she was not at all pushy even though it was very busy. So happy they had Maine lunch on tap, one of my favorite IPAs. Since we had a late lunch, we ordered an app of crabmeat fries. They had chunks of crab on top and a tasty beer cheese. These were very filling so we ordered the chowda. The chowda was packed with seafood and had a nice smoky flavor

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute place on the bay.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fish and chips were great! Chips were crispy and fluffy and the fish were super big! A little too bready but really good homemade Tatar sauce!

The food was good and the view from the porch even better. Super nice staff and I fell attended to without anyone rushing me. Worth the stop!!!

We dined there two years ago with family and were very satisfied. This year we stopped in and were and were more on the disappointed side. My husband ordered the Clam Basket, he said very little flavor , The onion rings were bland as well he mentioned ( Crispy but bland) The oysters on the half shell though were very fresh and we were satisfied with those. My husband had the coleslaw and he said it tasted " off"". I had the Lobster Stew ( which was very good I will add.) The cornbread was very dry and lacked flavor. I ordered a Shrimp Roll thinking it would be more like a lobster roll with mayo , they were frozen fried shrimp on a toasted bun ( very dry no tarter sauce , just cocktail sauce ) and French Fries that were definitely frozen not hand cut . The atmosphere is good , there is a very nice view of Lincolnville Beach. The service was fantastic, our waitress had a great personality and was cheerful and accommodating! Though we have been coming here for a number of years , I do not see a return in the future unfortunately.

First was lunch on the rooftop with drinks. I was hoping to try their deviled eggs, but they are only served in the restaurant after 4:00 pm. We both had the lobster rolls. Ample amount of lobster. Crispy buttery "toast". In my personal opinion, I wish there was a little more mayo. I like mine to be a little more "wet" and it really pulls all the flavors. We also had dinner. I was able to try the deviled eggs. They are gooood. Perfectly boiled and the filling was piped very nicely. Firm and good flavors. We did add the caviar. Caviar was good, nice amount of salty kick. My husband was not as impressed with the caviar. Said it was better without. He ordered the Roasted Halibut (asparagus, roasted fingerlings, cherry tomato, lemon caper beerre blanc.) He said it was cook perfectly great blending flavors. Only compliant, it was a small piece of fish. I orders the Fra Diavolo (maine lobster, linguine, calabrian chile) Wow. This was soo delicious. Lobster in anything is a must. The linguine was perfect. The sauce. Of the sauce was light and flavorful. I loved that it had a nice heat and spice but it was not overwhelming. I think this would also be nice for someone that is not a fan of spicy. Our waitress Emma was wonderful!

We sat outside on Belfast Bay at a table and waited for our number to be called. The view from the back deck is spectacular. I had a single 1 1/2 pound lobster and clam chowder. I am gluten-free. I asked about the chowder and they said it was gluten-free so I had some. The chowder was OK. Not thick at all (hence GF) with way more potatoes than clams. The clam chowder was good, but I wouldn't get it again. It's just not my style. The single lobster was excellent. The lobster was sweet and there was plenty of it. When you pick it up at the counter, they ask if you want the lobster cut for you. I appreciate that. Especially with the hard shell. It makes it much easier to crack open. My kids had the lobster roll. There was plenty of lobster and they enjoyed them very much. I recommend Young's Lobster Pound. Lobster was excellent. The view was spectacular. My only suggestion would be to have someone outside wiping down the tables or have spray and paper towels available so patrons can wipe down the tables and seats before use. The tables can get sticky with all the butter and lobster juice.

The meal was absolutely flavorful on my first visit but not so much the last visit in Dec 2025. Maybe it was a bad night? I thought the flavors fell flat and service was not as attentive. I was celebrating the holidays by treating friends to dinner and had to wave down someone twice to order rounds of drinks. Lobster roll prices are one of the few things in life that regularly give me sticker shock, but this (currently under $30) is less than some highly-ranked shacks. And the view, by golly, the view. The view is worth an extra $10 to sit and look out at the water - the exact view of what Maine means to me. Anyway, we arrived at 11:42am on Wednesday; they open at 11:30am. It was pretty busy by that time - the line moves fast - many people already eating 12 minutes after opening. But when we left, probably 60-90 min later, the car line was very long. I'd recommend getting there 15 minutes before they open. We had the hot dog, not-pictured, but positive review from the two kids who chose that, as well as one who chose the grilled cheese. Three of us had lobster rolls, with nothing but rave reviews. Lobster rolls always look small to me, but it was packed and filling. Get both butter and mayo. Slaw, pickle, and chips - standard and good. Our lone steamed lobster ordered gave two thumbs up, also. Oh, and we started with clam dip. Like delicious chip dip - but with clams! Subtly seafoody. Worth the effort to check out McCloons. The whole area is beautiful - swing by Owls Head Lighthouse afterwards. Those few hours will be the way life should be.

I googled lobster shacks on the water and was led here. Couldn't be happier with the choice to come here. It's absolutely the most beautiful lobster shack I've ever been to. We got a table right by the water with an umbrella and it was peaceful, idyllic, and just perfect. We got there right when it opened at 11:30 so we had our choice of table, and parking was easy, but when we left almost an hour later, just about all of the tables were taken and the parking lot was completely full. It is definitely a popular place but for good reason. Maine is a top 5 state for me, so I'll definitely be back someday, and for now will spread the word to others to come check this place out.
