I have been here 4 times. 2 times my burger was wrong and once my burger was raw. Called and they said they would give us replacement meals. Perfectly fine. I thanked them and two of the times I didn't go back because it wasn't that big of a deal. This time I did go back because I cannot eat a raw burger. They replaced my meal and took a whole new order. When they brought our food out read the order back including drinks. I told the worker we did not get our drinks. She said she knew and that we didn't get them just the corrected food, which is fine. I'm appalled at my food from this establishment. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. I ordered a Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich meal with NO HBBQ, which is my go-to at this place. Not only did I not receive my sandwich with honey bbq but the chicken tenders on the sandwich came out dry as ever! I'm currently typing this at 1:04am. I sent my boyfriend to get food for me at exactly midnight. We are current with Howe so from our area currently it takes 13 minutes to get there. So that's about 12:13. He drove around a bit to do his thing, cool whatever. He pulls in the drive-thru AROUND (now i'm not being exact like i was before) 12:30. They took the order, he paid, and was sent on his way to retrieve the food. Give or take 3-5 minutes for the cashier to give him his card back after processing blah blah blah, it's about 12:35-12:40 by the time he's sent on his way. HE IS STILL IN LINE CURRENTLY AS I AM TYPING THIS. Literally the worst experience Ive ever had at a whataburger. I sat in the drive thru line for a ridiculous amount of time, got onion rings that were A/C temp when Im pregnant and that can definitely be a health hazard. Have we ever taken a food handlers? Do we not know the temp danger zone? GROSS. Secondly, I go inside the place to get a replacement, only to find out there was another customer in there upset because half of his order was wrong, but then I get brought out the wrong size replacement. I paid for a specific size and ultimately wasted my time and money trying to eat here. How disappointing. Then I called the store and the smart alec on the phone said he "assumed it was a medium" like we arent all capable beings of reading a damn order ticket. I get that teenagers need jobs during the summer, but these kids lack common sense & customer service. Just close it down already. Yet I've have wasted about 8 or 9 miles in gas just by sitting here and I'm still not at the window. Service is poor. Cashier didn't give me a receipt after I stated 'yes I want my receipt.' After waiting for a few minutes he told me the machine ran out of paper. I pulled up to the next window. Checked my order and my fries were dumped over in my bag and I asked for regular ranch. They gave my fat-free ranch, I asked them for regular ranch a second time. They argued with me stating I had fat-free already.... I had to repeat myself several times to them stating I wanted regular ranch... again after waiting for several minutes because they had to go 'check.' they stated they didn't have any ranch. One would think that after months of watching the coordination, timing, and perfection coming out of the #1 chicken establishment across the parking lot, and then comparing that to their own pathetic attempt at operating a restaurant, leadership would have the strategic vision to implement much needed performance and quality improvements. This Whataburger is a disaster. I have been twice now. I ordered through curbside pickup both times, and each time I waited outside for over 20 minutes before going in to get my food. There are always other frustrated customers. I thought the first time might be a fluke, but I'm done notes that I have had the exact same experience twice. read more

There's far too much stuff wrong with this one specific Whataburger; and all of the problems can be laid upon the staff. Been here multiple times and the food was decent, wasn't as good as the other places, but still good. But we've gotten our orders wrong, our orders cold, our orders without the fries or missing some other major component. The staff is good enough to recognize their wrong-doings, so I'm hoping they'll get out of these habits in the future. Also, a word of advice, have someone stay at the cash register at all times. We have been to this new Whataburger twice now and we have had issues with our order both times. Each visit was a month apart and both were curbside delivery. I ordered both times in my app. The first time, we got the avocado bacon grilled chicken sandwich. It was soggy and was missing the bacon on both sandwiches. We also did not get our order of onion rings. The second time, we used a buy one get one coupon for a Whataburger. Again, ordered on the app, and both burgers were ordered different. The first burger was ordered with everything and jalapeños & cheese were added. The second burger was with no tomatoes, onions or pickles and cheese and creamy jalapeño ranch added. The first burger was correct but the second was not. It had jalapeños instead of the creamy jalapeño ranch sauce. The lettuce was completely limp & both burgers were soggy. The fries were also old and cold. I requested spicy ketchup on the app but that was also missing from our order. We live 1.5 miles away so no excuse for soggy food. We will not be going back to this Whataburger again but will instead stick to the Chic Fil a next door which has excellent food. read more

I saw all of the other reviews... many were older so I decided to give an update. I went through the drive-in today, approximately 2:00 pm.. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I looked around me and could see the other folks in line were pretty frustrated too. Fortunately I wasn't in a hurry because I was waiting at least 30 to 40 minutes. To top it off, I ordered two chocolate shakes. One was double cupped and white on top. I asked if they were both chocolate, answer "yes". I was anxious to leave so didn't look until I got home. Turns out the person preparing the shake puncture the styrofoam cup probably attempting to mix it, it wasn't mixed, they just inserted the mess into another cup and delivered it to me. Note: the people there are working really hard. This is a leadership problem, and lack of proper training. If you want GREAT service and excellent food, just go next door to Chick-Fil-A. read more

Wish a 0 star rating was possible. This is the second time that we've gotten an order that was completely wrong. Had some faith that it was right because the order was read off to us correctly, but somehow all the food in the bag was completely different and incorrect. I have been through the drive through at the Anna location 5 times since opening. Usually I order 2 meals with no extras. The "fastest" time it took to get from placing the order to receiving the food was 22min. The longest was today 1/28 42 minutes. Seriously? This doesn't include the 5-10 min in line before ordering. I can understand a bad day but this is chronic. I have asked several time to see the manager but have been refused each time. They are obviously aware of the issue and it seems they just don't care. It will actually be faster to drive to Van Alstyne and back to Anna an extra 10 miles each way. I will be reaching out to Whataburger corporate next. I can't believe this is ok with them. How do I choose less than 1 star? read more
