I've been coming here for the last year or so. It's new and clean. The food has been great as is the service. My most recent visit had me ordering the half rack ribs with sides to go (while I had a beer at the bar). Zero complaints. Portion was decent, price was O.K. but service was exceptional. The food tasted really good. I've lived in Anna for about six years and we have limited food options here but I appreciate everything this Chili's has to offer. A special shout out to bartender Alex. Holy crap! He bartends and also was responsible for the 20+ tables in his area while I was here. Watching him work made me dizzy. He was highly efficient. The restaurant was fairly busy but we were seated quickly. The noise level was a bit loud but we were seated in the bar. The waitress did fine and our order was correct. I had the chicken tenders with Mac & cheese & French fries and my husband had the chicken fajitas. We also had the bottomless chips & salsa. Everything was good except the Mac & cheese. Great place love the atmosphere wasn't super busy it was a Monday night so we sat right down. Ordered the surf and turf a bit of a misunderstanding definitely on my part but the manager made sure we were well taken care of this is my 2nd time coming to this location and we definitely will be back and will recommend our family. The food was fresh and hot we didn't have to wait long. Our service was epic. We felt welcomed and the server was very helpful and suggested great items when we ordered. Terrible absolutely terrible. Unorganized. Walked in put name in, gave phone number, waited to be seated . TOLD 15min wait. AFTER 45 min after watching table after table being seated. Asked the host if he had us next because we were BEFORE these people, he nonchalantly said, "I haven't called anyone." I then proceeded to ask why it had been 45 min and people who have come in after me are being seated? He then stared into space and said "oh my bad. I messed that up. ". There was a big table in front of us that waited an hour for their check and it also took us an hour to get to go boxes and the check. I guess the system was down but there were like 5 waiters who didn't bother to ask us if we needed anything we had to ask someone for our checks. We have been twice since they newly opened. First time was awesome. Second time was fraught with problems. However, the manager made it right. Problems will occur and the best we can hope for is helpful staff and they definitely have that. Both times our servers were awesome and the female manager who helped us was also awesome. To Go order - this restaurant did not care at all how the food was presented to us. Ordered triple appetizer - all put in the same box. Normally, I don't have an issue with it, but when 2 of the three items are laying in the sauce of the third item, it irked me. Sorry but fried cheese and egg rolls covered in honey-chipotle sauce was gross. The corn on the cob here is normally so good, nope, not this time. Barely any seasoning at all. Disappointed to say the least. $3 side of fries - 10 fries. Really? And lastly, I hate that I can't customize online. That defeats the purpose of ordering online. I believe the five star reviews after the bad comments are fake here!!! Terrible experience here and the restaurant seems to be all open like a hall and they sat us underneath a noisy part of the room where you hear humming, and rumbling noise from the air conditioner overhead the whole time. I asked to move to another table since there were so many empty tables around but the waitress said there was no waitress there and would not move us to a table that just needed wiping. We had to wait till they moved us to a middle aisle table and it was a little better but after all the trouble of moving the food was terrible and my husband's burger was loaded with too much mayonnaise that he can't stand and had to wipe it off with a knife along with the smashed stringy lettuce pasted to it. My chicken wings were not good tasting , didn't taste very fresh or crispy. We got tired of the whole place and just ate what we could and left because my husband didn't want to complain again. Oh when I asked why is there no celery sticks with my wings the waitress said they don't include celery sticks as garnish with your chicken wings in the whole year and a half that she has been there, plus no kosher pickles with the burger. Smart Alec, rude and not friendly waitress. She also had a fake way of speaking with a high pitched whinny voice trying to sound sexy or sweet but was not. Another head waitress was better and had a normal voice and arranged to move us away from the noise, since our waitress acted like it was not possible to move us. The chicken wings tasted like old and dry chicken got more wings than drumettes. I do not recommend their food and service. Waitress tricked us into not getting any free chips and salsa unless they are not free anymore. I do not recommend this place at all not going back. Rotten, noisy place with newly printed menus with higher prices. The place is expensive and not worse your money here. This will be a bad memory. read more

For some reason this Chili's in Anna has a hard time with orders to go. We have given them several opportunities but each time there has been a failure. Sadly, burgers have been the epic fail and they are what we have loved about Chili's for 40 years. Once it was totally charred. Once the patties were really tiny. And the last time it was the wrong burger and wrong side. I hate to give bad reviews and seldom do and really hope that Chili's in Anna will turn things around and prove me wrong. Chili's in Anna still needs some coaching by experienced restaurant openers. We added ourselves with the hostess to the waitlist. Hostess stated a 15 minute wait. Throughout our 1 hour waiting 7+ tables remained empty, as well as 5 in the bar area, cleared and awaiting patrons. I inquired. Hostess stated tables needed wiped down so she couldn't seat them. Meanwhile she was doing nothing as the patrons waiting increased. I would have wipes one down. I would rather sit at a table reviewing the menu waiting for a server than stand in the doorway looking at empty tables. Wouldn't you? The server could have grabbed a rag before taking our drink order. At 1 hour 10 minutes, we asked next door to Fuzzy's Tacos to eat. Ordered Chili's delivery for the first time tonight. Ordered 3 kids' meals and two entrees. All the food arrived hot and the drinks cold. It did take a little longer for the driver to get the food from the restaurant than estimated (he waited there awhile) but the food was all 100% correct. They did include ketchup which we forgot to ask for but they didn't include napkins and plasticware which I was sure I marked all three times I had to get out and back in. Now talk about a place in over its head. It's about 127 degrees outside and they have no where indoor for people to sit as they wait. We were told 15 minutes to be seated when we checked in. There were about 5 tables open and also a ton in the bar area which they were not serving to we were told. We waited 1hr to be seated. We wanted to order fast because we had plans and needed to get moving asap. We ordered and our appetizer was chips and salsa. We ate them and after 20 mins they asked if they could bring us more as the food was gonna be a while. We declined and said we would wait.....big mistake about 20 minutes later the server came again and said that he could again bring us more chips as the food still wasn't done. We asked if it was gonna be much longer because we were irritated, starving and had somewhere to be. He expressed that he wasn't sure but gave us the idea that it would still be a while. I said man we are just gonna get the check because now we were going to be late. (Which we were) he brought us the check for our drinks and the chips, which I paid but wanted to just leave. Felt like it was insanely bad customer service for them to even attempt to charge us after all that. We ended up going to the game (our plans) starving and pissed off. We've eaten here before and the food has been sub par, staff is over worked and the place is crowded. TRUST me it would be much better if you just drove 15 minutes to the mckinney chilis instead.
