I live in an area where they do not have any locations and love all kinds of burgers and burger places. I am very happy to report my first visit to Whataburger was a big success. I was so excited to finally be able to try their burgers, so I got a little carried away and ordered a triple. The burger was huge! I am a hearty eater but even I had trouble finishing the entire triple burger. I had no regrets even though I had to rest after finishing it. The burger was full of beefy, good flavor. I had Whataburger twice on my vacation. The second time, I had a double which was a perfect, large meal for me with the fries. The fries were crispy and tasty. I love dipping sauces as well as ketchup. It was neat to see all the various sauces you could order with your meal. My favorites were the jalapeno ranch and spicy ketchup. I had never seen a Dr. Pepper milkshake on a menu before so I treated myself to a small one. It was like having a Dr. Pepper float. I'd order it again. This is the location we went to for our first Whataburger meal. The staff was clearly working hard that day. The place was busy and there were a lot of cars in the drive through window. But the crew was friendly and nice. The location had a lot of parking and lots of seating. My French fries container was not even half way full. Also the gravy container was not full. The chicken strips were overcooked and very hard to chew. There were no napkins in my bag. The quality of the food was very low and the portions were not normal size. This location is closest to my place of employment so I am disappointed in the lack of quality for this visit.
