Didn't get my chicken tenders with my chicken tender meal, I'd say skip this place, it's pretty basic shit

We were on the road headed to Atlanta and made a pit stop for a bite. We wanted something that we don't have back home and found this wonderful chain. We used the drive thru and considering the long line of cars, it went pretty fast. I was amazed at the different options and types of burgers that they had definitely a better selection than most fast food burger chains. I went with the Monterey Jack, which was a double patty with onions, jalapeños, and peppers and melted cheese truly a burst of flavors in every bite. The fries were good. Could've been a little bit more seasoned. My wife got the sweet and spicy whatawings. They were spicy boneless and actually good for a fast food place. It was definitely a home run as far as burgers. Slow service. 1st time there it took over 25 minutes to get our order. We had shakes with our meals which were not delivered with the food. We had to ask several people about getting them. 2nd time there the shakes were not delivered with the meal. Had to ask for the shakes again. Patty melt burger toasted bread was soggy. Whatadissapointment! I went there Saturday morning and I was second in line. Waited for about 10 minutes to get my food. I ordered the Whataburger meal. The meat was bland and was barely warm. The fries were cold and hard. It tasted like they had been cooked an hour before I got them. I decided to give them another chance on Sunday morning. First in line. Waited forever to get a sausage egg and cheese biscuit meal and a honey butter chicken biscuit. Again, barely even warm. The chicken was more like the size of two chicken nuggets. I moved here from Texas and was so excited that Whataburger was coming to Boiling Springs. It was spot on when it first opened. Sadly, it's become a place l to avoid in the evenings. What a disappointment!!! The kids working in the evenings need to be supervised by an adult, a mature, responsible adult. Service has gone way downhill. Reviews are a little harsh based on unreasonable expectations for fast food, and the place being slammed for week after opening. I've eaten here several times and it's definitely been above avg for fast food in the area (which says a lot TBH). I really enjoy their patty melt and the fries are some of the best, if not the best, fast food fries. Their burgers are larger than normal, so beware if you get a double, it's huge. Service has always been great, they've been welcoming and nice every time. The food has not been cold or old a single time, if anything the fries have always been piping hot on multiple occasions. I'm glad we have them in the community, blows our other fast food options out of the water. read more

In town for a few days. Happened to drive by and was starving. It didn't look crowded so we went to the drive thru. It went very fast and the food was super fresh. Ok, I ate a Whataburger in Florida a while back and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I was excited when one opened close to home. Unfortunately, my visit to the new Boiling Springs Whataburger was a disappointment. The only order option was the kiosk. The milkshake we ordered was forgotten. The dipping sauces were also forgotten. The only attentive employee was a nice girl cleaning the lobby. She was able to help us resolve order issues. The buns were cold and the burgers were virtually flavorless. This definitely did not compare to the Whataburger in Florida I remember. If this chain wants to survive in the Carolina's they will need to step it up quite a bit. The restaurant industry here is competitive. Based on my last visit, I'm not really sure if I'll return. Kinda makes me sad because I was excited to have a Whataburger. read more

I went in the whataburger and it took them 15 minutes to take our order then when they took our order we went to go get our drinks and they had no ice in the ice machine and they had no sweet tea we asked people about it and it took them like five minutes to actually help us then it took them 30 minutes or more for us to get our food and it was dirty on the inside of the store, and also the burger I ordered I asked for no pickle and they gave me pickle and I asked for tomato and they didn't give me tomato. Slowest service run by kids who seemed confused and more interested in talking and joking than moving food to serve customers. Spent 45 mins in the drive through. Been here twice, first time food was bland and service was slow. The chicken wing are barely chicken nuggets. I decided to give them an exception since they were just open for a few day maybe a week by that time. Second time, barely anyone in line. Took our order fast. Burgers didn't come with requested condiments. The bottom bun is hard. They forgot our fries. Handed us dirty milkshake cups with ice cream dripping on the outside of the cup. Forgot our dipping sauce. People hanging out outside next to the food window we very loud, obnoxious and unprofessional.
