Ordered online to maybe save some time. Could not have been more wrong! Ordered curbside and got the little message "we'll bring it right to you". After waiting 15 minutes because maybe they were busy with the 3 cars in line I finally gave in and went inside. Walking up to the register there's six guys watching the screen waiting for god knows what and one person on the register gazing off into space. I asked about my order and she fumbled around through 6 bags on the counter and finally pulled mine out. It was probably sitting there for 10 minutes but they were too lazy to take it outside like the app said they would. I would've gladly just gone in and grabbed it if that's what the app said by the way. Thanks for the cold 30 dollar meal! Drop this building and start again cause it's a miracle this place is still open. Make it a In and out for all i care. Whatawaste of time! read more

Nice burger, good size compared to how the "other" large chains have downsized the size of their hamburgers. Fries were okay, not great, but not bad. Wish I could give it zero stars. Waited over 30 minutes for a meal that never came. When asked for update they said meal was given to someone else. They said they were remaking it now. Horrible location lines are always long but they also move extremely slow especially in the morning when ppl are on their way to work. The dining room doors are also locked in the morning even when they are supposed to be open. Lunch time they move slow found a wood chip in my burger once shouldn't have came back after that. The food at the Whataburger location on Buckner and Loop 12 was horrible tonight. I got 2 cold hamburgers with cheese and the cheese was not even melted. The meat looked so bad we had to throw it away because we scared to eat it and the fries looked like they had been laying there since the morning. This is why I rarely eat out anymore. I won't be back here, the owners seriously need to see what's going on at this location (secret shopper). A tall guy was at the counter and took my order. He then proceeded to wipe down tables and not help anyone else. Then he started handing out ketchup and plastic ware and didn't wash his hands. They forgot my gravy but I expected nothing less since everyone waited 20 mins for their food. I understand it's busy but when you see staff walk that slow and make it clear they could care less about their job. The employees need to find a new one if they can't do what the job requires. We all know how notorious Whataburger is for having a slow drive thru line, but this particular one absolutely takes the cake. The smog problem in Dallas is solely due to this one restaurant, I guarantee it. The staff are usually friendly, but the speed of service is complete crap. Most people call the company "Wait-a-burger". It doesn't make sense because they have the simplest menu of most anywhere. You can't even take the risk of using the mobile app to order because you'll pull up and there will be a line of cars in the drive thru and you have already paid online and are stuck for 45 minutes while your food gets cold. And it's not because "we make it fresh". They will take 1-2 orders and the third car will sit at the speaker screaming "hello" for 15 minutes. I would drive halfway across Dallas to get my Whataburger before I would come to this one. You've been warned. They have an orange metal fence locking you in so you can't escape if you make the mistake of entering the drive thru here. read more
