Went to go pickup lunch and head over to my son's apartment to chill while he was on lunch break and In-N-Out was the perfect choice. My youngest son has Gluten and and Egg allergies and we let the cashier know and he stepped back and shouted to the crew, "Gluten and Egg" allergy order. Which is awesome! My son with the allergies ordered the Protein Style Doube-Double with fries and and no sauce. The protein style is a lettuce wrap. My other son ordered a normal double-double meal. My wife and I both ordered the same - pretty much a burger with no meat but I got cheese fries and she got normal. The staff builds gluten free orders in a separate station to prevent cross-contamination and the workers change their gloves. When bagging the order, they placed his order in its own bag. Which is great! My son could have had two of the double-double since it is lettuce vs a bun. He loved it and he mentioned the fries were good. As far as my grilled cheese with all the veggies, it was good and filling. The sauce is tasty. My cheese fries were good (it is American cheese slices on top and they melt it is an oven). It would be better to eat at the restaurant as it hardened by the time we got to my son's apartment. I like the fries overall but I don't love them, I thought maybe adding the cheese would be better. This was my 2nd time ever at In and Out and it was delicious. It's not the best food I've ever had, but it's really good for fast food. I got a double double with onions and fries animal style, which I definitely recommend if it is one of your first times at In and Out. Here for a good, quality burger. Drive thru was many cars long, so I parked and went inside to speed up getting my order to go. Order taker is quick and we are done in under 30 seconds.with the ordering process. While waiting, I watch the many employees cleaning, prepping, cooking,and frying. Very very busy. Prices are still decently cheap and I enjoy the food. The burgers are good and the fries are not good. They have a lemonade also that is good. Haven't had the milk shake in a while but I believe it was also good. The atmosphere at this location is busy, but the staff is good. I've been to this location a few times. It is always a mixed experience. The restaurant is invariably clean. The cashiers are friendly and seem to be happy to be working there. The burgers are at the good end of fast food burgers, as countless people have already described. 5 stars. But the fries are consistently at the lower end. In fact, IMO they are the worst fast food fries I have ever had. They are not crispy. They taste stale or maybe they are not cooked long enough or at a high enough temperature. The workers at this location were friendly and quick. I noticed many of the cooks in the back cutting french fries from potatoes at that particular time so I at least know they were pretty fresh and the taste matched! Animal style is obviously the way to go! Something about the sauce and the onions together really make the burger and fries and push it over the top. My actual first dining in at In-N-Out. The first time I order the basic, but this time I got the animal style. The original doesn't have that zow factor. At least the animal version has a bit more flavor. They were pretty busy, but we got our food pretty quick. But if I had to choose I would lean more towards Whataburger. It's just a matter of opinion, but Whataburger has more flavor with different options. At the end of the day this is your typical burger and not worth the hype. What better way to end the night after a wedding than a midnight showing at In-N-Out? First of all, we were clearly not the only ones that had the idea to come here. The drive thru was at least 15 cars deep so I definitely saved some time by going inside. The wait was about 10 minutes after ordering, so I had plenty of time to observe the goings on behind the counter -- fry cutting, fry frying, and mega burger building. Once food was in hand I was practically drooling so it went quickly. It was as delicious as the last time I had it, however I felt the fries needed more salt. Next time: a little extra secret sauce and a little more salt on the fries. And a shake. All times: Get the double double. Now my biggest conundrum: is this better than Shake Shack? It's been a while, so l'll need to revisit my favorite Madison Square Park location sometime soon for a proper comparison. read more

You cannot beat the prices considering the quality vs any other fast food burger chain. I've always had a great experience with a friendly staff. The prices well, it was $9.04 including tax for a double double, drink and fries which is not so bad. Came here for the first time on a Saturday even around 7:15 PM. It was very crowded, though I don't know why. Fries texture was like it was freezer burnt - the texture of an old dry sponge...what's even stranger, is that they crumble like styrofoam when you crush them between your fingers. The burger is just as bad. Tomatoes were powdery, bland, & gross. Burger patty and bread were very dry & lettuce tasted dirty. Probably one of the worst burgers I've had & the worse fries I've had - the only thing that would make it worse is if they were burnt until black. Strawberry shake is very strange too.
