Concerning food, the sweet and spicy bacon burger was tasty, but entirely unnecessary with its two patties. (I was told you have to specify single patty for special sandwiches.) This place is fine during the day but do not come here after 10-11pm. They are super slow and take 15+ minutes for each car. They also park people for forever too. It took me 40 minutes to get my food and I just got a chicken tender meal. I honestly dont know why they take so long if they are understaffed or what but you will wait FOREVER late at night. I'm giving 5 stars because of the woman who is basically doing everything all by herself tonight, has my sympathies. I know what it's like having employees under you with less sense then what God gave a celery stick. Idk if he's learning disabled or just an idiot but props to this woman. Drive thru, online and in store with phone calls. Whoever made the schedule is a moron tho for real. Not only have I never ONCE received the correct order from this Whataburger, but the employees are ALWAYS extremely unfriendly.

I LOVE whataburger. So much. But goodness they are so slow. It's not just this location it's every location, but this one is the worst due to the tiny drive thru. I can understand being short staffed but even when there are just a few cars in line it can take up to 30 minutes to even get your food. The inside is worse. I waited for an hour and I was the first one in the line to order. Eventually a man who worked at another location came in to get something for his location and saw the wait and decided to take our orders himself. Thanks to him we finally got to order. I do not get the bad reviews on this place. When I went the staff were all smiles and my order was exactly as expected. It's fast food...unless they are not giving you what you ordered or there is a rat tail in it, it's pretty much what you're gonna get lol. The fact that I got a freshly made, as close to any photo on tv of what a burger should look like...I was happy. Fries aren't the highlight of this place. Of all the fast food places that serve burgers round in shape (not Wendy's), this place serves excellent burgers that match the size of the bun and the bun is not constantly in peril of falling to pieces. I'm from Texas and love whataburger as much as the next guy. Used to eat this location 2-3 times a week. Generally it's spot on and great but lately since the remodel it has gone downhill. I never leave reviews. Ever. But I had to after my experience at this location. We went through the drive-thru and there was only one person in front of us and she was sitting at the speaker. She sat there for about 5 minutes in complete silence before anyone came on the speaker to even speak to her. Then we she pulled up to the window, we sat at the drive-thru speaker for TEN MINUTES without even one person saying a word right after. Not a "Hey, it'll be just one second!" Or "Be right with you!" So we thought, maybe they're just having speaker issues? We back out of the drive-thru and my husband decides to go in. Turns out, the speaker was working fine. And the inside experience was just as bad, if not worse. My husband stood at the register waiting for a person to show up until a cook in the back yelled "Hey!! Someone's at the front!" A woman came to the register and started pressing buttons and didn't say a word. Just looked at her screen, still messing with buttons, and after a while just looked up at my husband and just stared. He was waiting for her to say if she was ready for his order or ask him to take his order or something.... not a word. After a good awkward moment, he said "Can I give you my order?" She just said "Yeah." He orders, she just hands him the receipt. Still not a word. This is the most silent experience we've ever had at a fast food restaurant for sure. To top it all off, his breakfast burrito he ordered had about two tiny pieces of sausages in it, the rest just egg.
