I usually don't expect great customer service from a fast food place. Normally the service is subpar, but today my husband and I stopped at the whataburger on Dyer and the young man that brought our order out was the nicest most polite young man. It is hot out there today and he still brought out our drinks while we waited for our food to be done, and he put ketchup in my bags. Nobody does that even when I ask. It seems silly but I was very pleased with his attitude I hope he goes a long way. I didn't catch his name but he had a bun and glasses whoever you are thanks for being so nice. read more

Ordered in the drive-thru about noon-thirty on a weekday. Gal was super nice on the speaker & at the window. I asked for no onions...should've said "sin cebolla" because that double-meat came out with HELLA cebolla. Regardless how disgusting onions are, the burger was absolutely delicious & the staff was prompt & courteous. Moral of the story: Even if the order is jacked up, excellent customer service & a well-crafted product still nets 5 stars. read more

Food just isn't good. It is always a hot or miss with this place but one too many losses. Customer service just isn't what it used to mean.

I ordered the A1 Thick and hearty burger that they had on their menu. But was told that they don't have it. Employees were rude.

Great place to go to. Me and my wife live in Kentucky now but still miss the burgers from here. If you add gravy instead of barbecue sauce to the chicken sandwich it is like a chicken box from Dairy Queen and is amazing. Plus there is very few places that sells gravy in El Paso anyway lol. This El Paso staple is one of the places I ate at while visiting. My husband and his family [swear by this place] so i had my hand tied & had to try it. I'm glad i did, it was quite good. The onion rings were very crisy and good, could have used a little bit of salt but by the time i got home they were gone. Should tell you how good they were. Their hamburgers are averaged. Next time i'll add some of their extras, such as bacon. Maybe it'll be yummier. There were no lines and people must enjoy this place because there was no place to sit, thats why we decided to take the food home. Also, the drive thru was packed too. I am not from El Paso, I was actually driving cross country from the east coast to LA and I'd never heard of Whataburger. I had noticed that this burger joint was EVERYWHERE in Texas so we decided to just try it while we were passing through El Paso. The burgers were so good!! I love my burgers plain while my husband likes everything on his and my plain burger was so good! We also got onion rings which were delicious and crispy! I wish we had a Whataburger here in Hawaii! The first time I went to this restaurant I ordered a small burger and fries. The patty was way to salty for my taste buds and the fries were also. The 2nd time I went I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and that was delicious!!! The seasoning was good and grilled to perfection and was topped with lettuce, tomato and pickles. I am not from the area and had never been to a Whataburger before I started visiting El Paso on a regular basis. I don't know what to compare it to, because they have an employee that walks around with a condiment tray like the peanut guy at the ballpark. The burger: I was not at all impressed. It was all smashed up and very greasy. It's not pretty. The patties aren't like something you would get at Fuddruckers or even a Carl's Six Dollar burger. What I loved: The honey chicken biscuit!! It's a buttermilk biscuit with a deep fried chicken tender and honey. As I ate it, honey was dripping from my fingers. It was so good that I wish I had gotten two! Maybe next time. read more

Very disappointed! I used the app to order this morning before work so that I could expedite a quick in and out. When I got to the location, only customer btw, the young girl was leaning on counter talking to the cook just shooting the breeze. When she finally decided to ask me what I wanted a stated that I was there to pick up my online order. Of course, my order had not been even started. Took them several minutes to prepare my order only to get that wrong as well. Then she proceeds to inform me that it is the way it comes. Not happy at all. I had big expectations for the famous Whataburger, and boy was i disappointed. I got the double whataburger and it was okay. The best part was the bun. I really wanted to try the chicken honey biscuit but thats only offered for breakfast. These burgers are huge and taste great. These are up there with In N Out in California. Im not sure which ones are better.
