I've been meaning to write a review for this place, already have on Google. I live literally around the block from this location however I will never go to it again. The times I went there they had very long lines the drive thru and if the line wasn't that long it was still a 15-20min wait for my food, which they constantly got the order wrong. What finally made me not go to this location ever again happened on the Sunday before Christmas 2023, last year. I had gotten off work and didn't feel like cooking, there are several places near my house but I saw Whataburger was slow as in there were just 4 people inside eating and I was the first in the the drive thru, and at first only one car was behind me. I ordered the Avocado Burger and after paying was told to wait in the parking lot, which was strange. This was around 6:20pm. So I'm waiting, 10mins go by and two cars pull into the lot from the drive thru, and no sign of my burger. 5mins later I see an employee come out with a bag of food, thinking it was mine. Nope, they just got off shift and that was their dinner. About another 15mins later up drives this car and it's three employees (one was clearly the manager) and they had drinks and food, they must have gone for dinner somewhere else. So 10 more minutes go by and the parking lot has about 5-6 cars waiting on their orders. I also look inside and standing there at the drinks station just chatting with another coworker is the person who originally took my order and money! Angry I go inside at first to ask where my food was and if it wasn't ready, give me a refund. Well low and behold what do I see on the counter? Several bags of food just sitting there. And to make the situation even more infuriating was the manager came from the back, say the orders there and said, "Are these all the orders for the people in drive thru?" That one employee who took my order walked over and handed with my food, but I lost my cool and said how this was some BS and I'm never coming to this f-ing location ever again in a loud voice. I also informed some people in the lot waiting on their food the situation. I called corporate to complain, but looks like they haven't done jack because I've seen recent reviews and people pretty much had the same bad experience I had. read more

Okay so this place, well known for awesome burgers and shakes but the real story.. Pancakes. In recent times we saw a flapjack favorite try and draw us in with a marketing campaign that saw them gow from IHOP, to IHOb, I guess the b was for bancakes as some put it, but no, burgers. Well Whataburger could easily change there name to WhataPancake in response, because I tell you, no one this side of the Mississippi, makes them better. No way to write a flavor or aroma this good. Crisp edges like a griddle cake, buttery flavor, fluffy. I had to put my hand over them to keep them from rising off the container. And yes, container, meaning they traveled and still maintained all that they would have been had I dined in. Okay so these were not mine, but my sons. He went out for grub, came back with these and I asked him to first let me snap a pic of them. Best part of this experience is that each location I have been to throughout Texas is consistent. Same quality, same awesome taste, same great service. I would be remiss to not mention the people. The people that work here are truly not paid their worth. Not sure what they make, but I am sure not the value per smile they give through the door, day in, night out. I seem to eat at a lot of different Whataburger throughout the metroplex. All of them are basically the same at lunch or the dinner rush. A line wrapped around the building for the drive-thru the inside dining area filled with dirty tables and dirty floors. Doesn't matter drive throughout or inside dining the lines move at a turtles crawl because they are severely understaffed. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered this old House Shapped Whataburger at 1;00 pm. First, I was greeted by several workers. When was the last time you were greeted at a fast food establishment? Next, I noticed one person cleaning windows, one person emptying trash cans and cleaning off tables, and a third person sweeping and moping. I also noticed how efficient the prep line ran. The manager barking orders keeping the food orders moving. It was also cool the manager waited to call out for the fry cook to drop my onion rings. This way, my burger and rings were ready at the same time, hot and fresh. So this Whataburger is now my favorite Lines were short due to good management, and the store was clean. I get a burger craving every few weeks and I think whatever you do, don't go to this Whataburger, but I think maybe they'll get it together this time... no. 3 times I've tried in the last few months and there's always a backed up drive-thru, which of course is par for Whataburger, I mean they don't call it "Waitaburger" for nothing. All tables were dirty upon arrival and no one cleaned a single table during the hour we were there. It took 30 minutes to get our order at 1:07pm in the afternoon. French fries were covered in salt, I should have ordered no salt on my fries. Ketchup was thrown on our tray when we asked for more and that took another 10 minutes to arrive. We have been at this location several times in the last month and it continues to gone down in quality and service. I understand whataburger is cook to order but having to wait this long for fast food is way too much. This location specific needs more training.
