    Drive thru only

Drive thru only open so far at the Barry Rd location. Both lines were long and moving! They have the order system down. I have only had Whataburger one other time years ago so this was a Friday fun day adventure. Fries are good ( not a full small) and the burger was good but not anything overly amazing - just my opinion. More bun than burger ...

My daughter loved the Dr Pepper shake. As far as the food goes, I would say it's all right. This location just opened so it seems like they might have a few tweaks to work out with ordering since the inside was not available to go in and all ordering had to be done through the drive-through.

After having Whataburger 15 years ago in TX and 2 years ago in AR; I was not interested in queuing up with the masses for the overhyped burger chain once it came to town. Today I was driving by and noticed only one car in line, so I pulled in. The Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger was a large cheesy double burger with a sweet pepper sauce and tons of grilled onions and a couple strips of bacon. Very nice and priced right at $8.29; it certainly is a value when you calculate price per calorie. Weighing in at 1095 calories, that's only 1.3 cents per calorie - one hell of a belly busting bargain! Fries were forgettable, in fact I gave 1/2 to my dogs - for what it's worth, they loved them. Even though they drive through was practically empty compared to recent activity - it still took longer that most drive throughs. Compared to other fast food burger joints - I'd place them in the top tier with 5 Guys, Shake Shack and Freddies, but still miles behind Danny's Burger Shack that's just a mile away, independently owned and hasn't received a years worth of free press from the local media.

Not a fan. Service isn't good. They have good shakes and malts though. Burgers are meh. Fries aren't good. Chicken strips are decent.

Not impressed. Grey burger. Dry. I prefer medium rare, thick and juicy. French fries were just fries. Whatever Whataburger.

In addition to food, they also have a few drink options like bottles of wine and beer. They even have dog food and dog treats. The store itself is decent sized. There's plenty of space for a few people to move around. They do have a large deli counter and a few coolers full of goodness. Service is always excellent. They are always helpful and can even offer suggestions if you don't know what to make with what. One of my go-tos are any one of their sausages. They have traditional ones plus a few fun ones. And if you watch their social media, they'll usually tell you when they have a limited addition one. The Rieger whiskey and apple sausage is one of my favorites. They also have a chicken curry sausage, which is excellent and has so much curry flavor. On my last visit I noticed that they have mac & cheese that you can take to go. They have a few different varieties, but I went with one with bacon because their bacon is always fantastic. It was a really good side. I slapped it on the grill to warm it up and it was delicious. Highly recommend. If you are in the city market area definitely stop in and check out what they have.

And I'm so excited because what goes better with a beer than a burger? My answer is pretty much nothing and thank goodness Burn Theory has got you covered. The special of the evening was a kimchi smash burger. One thing about me is I love anything fermented so, kimchi is one of my favorite things. Surprisingly I had never had it as a burger condiment before so, I was ready to try something fresh and new. It didn't disappoint! It was delicious. The smash burger patty was juicy and had lacey edges just like a proper smasher should, sometimes certain places forget the importance of those crispy edges. Not here! The kimchi wasn't an afterthought at all, it was more than a condiment slapped on top of the burger instead it was piled high and added just the right amount of zippy slightly spicy flavor. The cheese oozed out of the burger and melded with the lacey edges to create an impeccable bite, I'm still thinking of it a week later. I can't wait to try more burger renditions on the menu because this one definitely got high marks. There are other things on the menu as well if a burger isn't your speed but don't expect anything too fancy this is bussin' bar food that pairs exceptionally with a brew.

There is something for everyone on the menu: sandwiches, tacos, nachos, even salads. The portions are big!! I got 3 huge tacos and a massive pile of fries for a reasonable price. The tacos were really tasty. There's crispy cheese on all the tortillas! Delicious. The black bean taco is a great vegetarian option.

The employees are friendly and helpful. Our bartender explained the different crafts on tap and even gave us a couple of samples to try. It was refreshing and very good! There are plenty of tv screens mounted throughout the building and with plenty of World Cup matches being played in different venues, it was easy to watch the different group play that was going on. And lo and behold in the corner there were 3 pinball machines! (I was really loving this place by now.) We had a great time playing them. Then, at the other end in the corner was a place where one can order pizza - which I can attest to it being very, very good. They have a covered outside seating area too that's pet friendly so feel free to bring your favorite K9 companion. What a great place!
