Being from California and use to In & Out Burger, I was told Whataburger is very similar so I had to try it. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Not pleased by the attitude of the girl that walked past us to deliver a meal to a truck 3cars behind us... when I asked where our food was after sitting in line for over 20 min and she had the nerve to tell me that she would not raise her voice to me if I would stop raising my voice to her. Mind you I was in the passenger side and and was trying to make sure she could hear me over all the cars and trucks in line. When she did bring out our food I checked it to make sure it wasn't cold... it was still warm enough to eat but not hot. I said again it should never take 20 min to get food and she then said. You are not our only customers. We'll miss thing... I don't have to be your customer ever again. That's customer service today. If you don't like your job. I ordered a double meat and hamburger, jalapenos and large fries. After waiting in line for 25 minutes. I received my order. An drove straight home, literary less than four minutes away. I got home to eat my dinner. My hamburger had two slices of green tomatoes, two sliced jalapeños, one slice of pickle , large chunks of lettuce. My large fries were half full and cold. When I call to let them know , I was told I come back and they would remake my order. Which I no intention of driving back and waiting another 30 minutes to get my food right. Do not recommend- if they cannot run a B lane they need to run all cars through one line. I would not recommend saying yes to the B lane. They act you don't exist and it was a super simple order. 3 taquitos, 3 hash browns & 3 drinks. Requested condiments at order and again when drinks were delivered and still didn't get them forcing me to exit my vehicle and knock on the door to request them. Food is good like all whataburger's. But the management team for this place is horrendous. They are by far the worst managed Whataburger I've ever been to. They don't pay attention to drink orders, you get something different every time. Got a half lemonade half sweet for just an unsweet tea or just sweet tea. Sauces somehow end up on your burger even though you wanted a packet. And the inside just isn't as clean as other franchise owners. Oh and we never get enough straws for our drinks either. Whata burger is my go to spot for a cheat meal. 9/10 times any spot I go to messes up my order ,(which is understandable) I ordered the number 6 add grilled jalapeños, a side of chicken tenders , fries a brownie, ranch, honey butter, and spicy ketchup. Every whataburger messes up my order. Except this one. I walked in during a late night rush and was greeted by Laura . This woman was so sweet, so eager to help, and could do many things at once. Not only did she take my order , she helped prepare it, brought it out , and got every detail correct. I was eating and constantly saw her running around . You always expect the occasional mistake when it comes to fast food, but this particular store is utterly useless. Always get your order mixed up, or made wrong. Service tends to be slow and the staff are pretty unapologetic, mostly seeming bored annoying that you didn't accept the wrong food. went in here today and ordered the sweet &spicy bacon burger. I asked for no mustard and they told us it didn't come with mustard. I knew it did but I assumed it wouldn't come with mustard on it anyways. we'll 5 minutes our burgers came out with "mustard" on it. I took it back and told them I didn't want mustard on it. One of the people came out and asked if we wanted it dry with just the sweet & spicy sauce on it. we said yes. two minutes later we got our burgers back... our same burger and they literally wiped the mustard off and slathered more sauce on the bottom to cover up the mustard, which you could still see remnants of. that is illegal, unethical, and gross. if they happened to do this to someone that was allergic to mustard seeds they could have killed them. The interior's intimate setting makes one feel as if they are right at home entertaining guests, because there is always a good time to be had at the Lake Jackson Whataburger! Although the food has a nostalgic gustatory perception, it is not a good one. I recall a time at laty lodge youth camp and the food struck the same cord.
