My husband and I haven't had Whataburger since the last time we were in Texas (6 years ago!!) it's just as good as we remember! So glad we stopped in here!

As a native Californian, I've always heard how great Whataburger was from all of my friends in Texas. This is as close as I can get! Being on the Las Vegas Strip, it would seem hard to compete against other fast food chains, foods from casino properties, and restaurants that have been around forever, however, this place was filled with people after midnight. Shout outs to leaving the fountain drinks open so that we can refill drinks ourselves! The food was great and the service was fantastic!

    Patty Melt Combo
    Kristena R.

This was my first time trying Whataburger, and I was really excited to finally see what the hype was about. Overall, it was just okay. I ordered the patty melt with fries and a chocolate shake. The portion sizes were great--everything was a good size, and the drinks were huge, which I appreciated. Flavor-wise, the food itself was decent. The burger was good, and nothing tasted bad. The main issue was the wait time and temperature of the food. Our order (3 burgers, 3 fries, 1 milkshake, and 2 drinks) took about 20 minutes, and when we finally got it, everything was lukewarm to cold. After that kind of wait, I was expecting hot, crispy fries and a fresh, warm burger, so that was disappointing. We also selected dine-in but were given our food in a to-go bag while others received trays, which was a bit confusing. The staff seemed pretty stressed and irritated, so I didn't feel comfortable asking for the food to be remade. I didn't hate it, but it didn't really live up to expectations either. I'd be open to trying a different location that might be less busy, but this visit was just okay.

Wet lettuce and tomatoes.. Avoid in yours.

I can't lie the burger is pretty damn good... Although don't get lettuce or tomatoes in it.. It gets pretty wet if that makes sense. We waited no more than 12 minutes and the staff is definitely a smiling bunch which brought that Texas hospitality charm to the vegas life. The one downfall is the price.. These burgers are good but I paid 11.99 for mine and that's without a meal. They could use some buzzer to give because standing in front of the pickup area like a hawk is a little intense especially when your hungry . I see potential here but I definitely understand the negative reviews.. Management just needs to listen and these problems can easily be fixed. By the way the spicy ketchup is 100% the greatest thing on earth.

I've been told that Whataburger is an In N Out competitor, and this experience has thoroughly convinced me that In N Out is better. Now, this is the first time I've had Whataburger so your mileage may vary. Maybe it's better in Texas? Regardless, the burger was incredibly mediocre. I always finish my burgers, but I didn't finish this one. The burger was big, but it was just kind of bland. Too much mustard, and the patty seemed to try to grilled, but it didn't have that completely grilled taste either. Cheese costs extra. Service was extremely slow, first of all. They definitely need more staff. All the kiosks were down, so everyone was in a massive line to order with one person. Their fancy and spicy ketchup is free (regular and 'spicy - jalapeno'), other sauces cost 40 cents. Fries were under-salted and not crispy. Onion rings were quite decent, actually. I took a quick look online to see what else they were known for and people recommended the patty melt. It's decent - I can see the vision with the grilled onions and thousand island-esque sauce, but the proportions were off - not enough sauce/onions. The two meat patties had decent flavor. They have an assortment of milkshakes, and my husband enjoyed his chocolate milkshake enough. I thought it was way too sweet. Kind of disappointed I trekked all the way out there to try it and it wasn't that great.

Chicken Sandwich Combo aka the #10!!!

Stop by the place for lunch while out walking the strip! It's a kool place to get a quick bit to eat from pizza to burgers and chicken sandwiches and they got drinks from tea to soda and bears both in cans and on tap! I have the number 10 which was a chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink and it was really good! The service was very quick we walked in and ordered right away! The ambiance was like you typical burger joint but a little more modern and upscale! I would highly recommend this place if you just want a quick bit to eat while adventuring out on the strip!

We went to Whataburger on the strip in a late Saturday night after Paul McCartney''s concert. This is located at the Aria/ City Center Property in front of Waldorf. Plenty of late night diners. There are few tables and shared tables. I noticed some homeless people going in and out of their bathrooms. So you order your food and they will call your name once ready. As for the chicken strips, it was tough and with thick coating, and when you checked there chicken strip was so thin so pretty much you are mostly eating the coating. When I lived in Texas I remember it as a good meal. Hubby ordered a patty melt, and it tasted not to my liking. I wonder if they changed their recipe. This location is on the strip so no parking available right outside the door, you have to park at Aria Casino parking lot and then walk to the restaurant.

This is primarily a salad poured into a large bun overwhelming the little, flavorless grade of meat. This item does not belong in a WHATABUR

This Whataburger ITALIAN SUB is alot of thick bread, lettuce, tomato and little meat that is undetectable. Why WHATABURGER is offering such a poor product is shocking to me.......

Had the #1 with cheese, mayo no mustard. Fries were hot and crispy. Lots of folks eating here. Dang good meal!

Very greasy food, but delicious. It's good to have it occasionally when on vacation. I cannot imagine eating this frequently, thank goodness this is nowhere near my home! Highly recommend their jalapeño ranch sauce! We poured that thing on our burgers and fries.

Heard really good things about this fast food chain and was super happy they opened one on the strip. Came here late night after we arrived in town and tried the bacon cheese burger and a patty melt with a side of fries and onion rings. The cheese in bacon cheese burger the was not melty but it was fine. The melt, fries, and onion rings were ok. Nothing amazing but at least they open late.

Ok so I been wanting to try this place and said next time I'm in Vegas I will try it, guess what I finally did! The final result is it's ok, tastes like a Wendy's burger but a bit more pricey. The hype and hope I had for it really didn't match the meal. Burger just plain, but good choice on the Brioche bun, I think it made a good difference on my burger. Quick service for being on the strip, maybe I was there when it wasn't too busy but I mean I can say I tried it and wasn't disappointed or ecstatic more of in between. 7/10

    Patty Melt and Fries
    Marco Y.

I've always wanted to try Whataburger since I was in middle school. Never got a chance to go to Texas for it but finally tried it here in Vegas. It was pretty good but not mind blowing. I opted to try the Patty Melt and it was a pretty big sandwich. A bit on the bland side but not bad. The fries were a but inconsistent with some being salted well and some being unsalted. The spicy ketchup complimented the fries and patty melt well though.

Warning: Stay Tuned Burger is located INSIDE the Hard Hat lounge. This is a bar, so unfortunately minors can not go inside. There is a bunch of outdoor seating which was perfect for our group of 15+ kids :) The Vibe: Walking in, I was smacked in the face with an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia! The dim lighting, the neon signs, the tube TVs. It was like I stepped back in time. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a cigarette dispenser near the bathrooms (I didn't venture to look for it, although now I wish I had!) I'm a big fan of dive bars, and the Hard Hat Lounge was giving me life. The Process: After taking in the vibe, it was time to order. I walked up to the counter and reviewed the super simple/straight forward menu. I don't know if there is a "secret" menu, but we were there for one thing, and one thing only: the burger. The staff were super friendly, and attentive. Got our order in, and stepped over to the bar to grab some drinks; a beer for me, and a mexican coca cola for my son that was waiting outside. The Food: In about 10mins, our number was called and I brought out the goods; 2 Doubles and an order of tots. If you don't like smash burgers, this isn't the place for you. Simple and straight forward burger. The meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce was not over powering. I loved the diced onions; whole onion slices can be overpowering. The pickles!! I'm a sucker for house made pickles, and these DID NOT disappoint. I could eat a whole plate of those. The tots... you can easily mess up tots, but these were crisp and well seasoned. We didn't try them with the sauce and all the fixins, but they were simple and delicious on there own. All in all we had a enjoyed our visit, and will be back the next time we're in town :)

They were extremely bland, had almost no flavor, and it seemed like they were missing the breading altogether. They tasted like they had just been fried until they were dry. Mine didn't have any lettuce (I'm not sure if it's supposed to), came with one very thick slice of tomato, and what looked like the end piece of an onion. Overall, it was pretty average. The Hot Mess Fries completely saved the meal. They were crispy, loaded with cheese, and the sauce was delicious. The sliced peppers added a nice kick and brought everything together. I'd definitely order those again.

I also asked if the burgers were ground in house and she shook her head no. We started out by sharing the macaroni and cheese bites. They were fried nicely and had nice cheesy filling. Not sure what it was but they also left a weird after taste that I didn't like but maybe other people might not be bothered by. Since I didn't know what was in the burgers I ordered a Chicken Sandwich called Fowl Play. It was a big sloppy sandwich. Anyway. I was given a brief 20 minute wait time-- which was cut short nearly immediately when a wonderful host expressed that our deep oak, firmly planted, chocolatey brown table with our plush, blue leather seats was ready. Anyway. We sat down. The menu cover was incredible. A fresh, leather cover with brief, punctual text. Anyway. I ordered Gordon Ramsay's Southwestern Burger with just fries. Wow. Anyway. When it first came out, I saw it. The appealingly freshly toasted bun with freshly picked produce from the plentiful garden and freshly butchered and cooked beef. This was all alleged, however. Anyway. I took a bite. Then it hit me. When I was a young boy, I was playing outside in the garden. Suddenly, a vicious dog--foreshadowing the fierce streets of Las Vegas Blvd S--came upon me and began to snarl and bark at me. Scared for my life, I retreated to the beautiful, tall, lush, old, grand, plush, velvety, deep green tree that was in our yard. I began to climb the tree, which was easily 50 feet tall. As an inexperienced climber at this point-- on the sunny, bright blue day that dawned over me at the infant young age of 7, I was unable to successfully climb the tree. Anyway. I fell down the fifty feet and landed promptly in front of the vicious dog. Crying, I ran inside. At this point, I saw it. The beautifully crafted, plush cheeseburger that was wonderfully and expertly crafted by my mother. First, I tasted the freshly baked bread, I could taste the kneading that went into combining the freshly milled flour--from wheat at my best friend's field-- combined with the freshly filtered water, filtered from the town's local water tower (which my best friend's father's coworker single-handedly built upon settlement of our town.. but let's not stray from the topic.) and lastly, the freshly ground cave salt from the local mine shaft, managed by my sister's best friend's dog sitter, who was quite the fellow. Anyway. I then tasted the produce, freshly grown from my mother's garden. Fertilized by fresh organic waste and seasoned daily with fresh herbs and spices that came from my local farmers market--which occurs once every spring on the second Thursday. Anyway. The beefy patty-- which came from my childhood cow, who was raised for a proximal 40 years before he liberally passed away on the plush, green field in our very own back yard. Anyway. Back to the restaurant. I vividly tasted those very delicious hints that I just expressed. The freshly baked seaseme seed bun-- the fresh, perfectly sweet vegetables (with a special mention for the lettuce, which was the softest, most delightful--absent of cyclospora-- lettuce I had ever tasted). Anyway. The beef, which was perfectly seasoned and wonderfully medium pink in the center, and the INCREDIBLE cheese-- which was likely made in house by the experienced chefs. I recommend this establishment to anyone who dislikes food, but instead, LOVES food. thank you for your attention to this matter. #ferda
